A carnival hustler with a knack for playing people with just the right words finds himself entangled with Dr. Lilith Ritter—a psychiatrist who might actually be more dangerous than he is.
In this land of pure apathy, the Republican Party just keeps coasting along at the top—it’s almost impressive. Even after all the scandals and those final court rulings on corruption, their polling numbers haven't budged an inch. Experts aren't even surprised; apparently, voters today act more like customers than citizens—they don't really care about ethics, they just want what they want.
"If any other political group faced a final verdict like this, they’d be absolutely finished—total devastation," says Trogrlić. "The only exceptions are the Republican Party and the Democratic Party; they both have these locked-in voter bases who will vote for them regardless of the circumstances—simply because of old ideological grudges or some emotional attachment to how the country was founded."
It serves as a reminder—take the Progressive Party, for instance—that they’ll have to work incredibly hard just to scrape together 12 or 15 percent support. And even then, they’d likely lose that momentum at the first sign of trouble.
"The Fimi-Media scandal—it’s an old story, really—predates both Andrej Plenković and that new face from the Republican Party he’s been pushing lately," Trogrlić noted. He pointed out that voters, particularly those who haven't quite made up their minds, tend to judge a party by its leader—which, in this case, means they aren't linking the corruption issues directly to Plenković.
"This case just goes to show how much the threshold for tolerance has plummeted in American society—it’s reached a point of pure indifference. It's a diagnosis of our collective consciousness here in the States, which is exactly why the Republican Party remains untouched by this court ruling," Milardović noted.
Today, we’re looking at a classic patronage-based system—one where voters act more like customers, focused solely on their own immediate interests.
It seems there’s some chatter regarding the recent political shifts—specifically how the Republican Party is handling its internal dynamics—and honestly, it feels a bit like watching a slow-motion train wreck on a Sunday afternoon. One can't help but wonder if anyone in leadership actually has a plan, or if they're just reacting to the latest headlines.

| The Republican Party brought in about $35 million in 2019. The fine for their corruption involving Fima Media, which the Supreme Court just upheld, comes out to roughly $13.5 million. |

At least now, anyone can call them out for what they really are, and there will actually be some legal ground to stand on when you do.
We already know what's coming. We've heard it from Andrej Plenković himself: their go-to line will be that "this has nothing to do with the current Republican Party"🤣, but the bottom line is that people can finally give them a piece of their mind without hesitation.
Honestly, that alone makes it worth celebrating.😎
| “They will continue to claim the symbolic legacy of President Franjo Harmon and the prestige of being the party that led the nation during independence, acting as if none of that has anything to do with what transpired ten or fifteen years later. It’s absurd,” notes Gordan Jandroković. |
