Not quite. Lieder are songs, and if we’re being technical, you could even argue that arias fall under that umbrella too. But let's not get carried away with the side conversations; feel free to send me a DM or just start a new thread.
I noticed there's no mention of Mozart's pieces on this list. ☕ Honestly, lists like these always get under my skin—it just feels a bit silly, doesn't it? 🙄 If we were actually going to crown the greatest songs of all time, we’d need some sort of objective criteria to judge them by, and we'd certainly need to have listened to every single song ever recorded. Since this list fails on both counts, I find these types of rankings to be completely meaningless.
Real metalheads actually have great taste in music; it sounds like you just happened to run into some idiots. ☕ I was actually just about to mention that my absolute favorite track of theirs is Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying, but you beat me to it 🙂—though I’d follow that up with Lovers in the Night any day. On the flip side, I’ve never really been able to get into Rosanna; I honestly don't understand why it's such a massive hit, though I wouldn't say I hate it, it’s just one of those things. Life happens, I guess. 🤷

Just put them on your ignore list. 🙄 If you're looking to hide your own posts from them, well, I don't think that's really an option; as far as I know, there isn't a setting to make it so they can't see what you write while you're busy ignoring them.

edit: oh, I just realized you even have it in your signature too :blento:
edit2: don't be lazy, you should probably just go ahead and make your own custom avatar 😁
I actually already had my own anti-SOPA avatar ready to go, but yours looked so much better that I just had to borrow it. Go ahead and sue me for copyright infringement if you want. 😁
To be honest, I could probably sue all of you since I was the very first person on this forum to use an anti-SOPA avatar before everyone else decided to swipe my idea. 🤣
Not only would using someone else's song title as your band name likely be fine from a legal standpoint, but I honestly don't think you'd run into any trouble at all. That being said, if you'll permit me a little friendly advice, I really think you should consider picking something else entirely, as this current choice just doesn't quite hit the mark. 🙂
I’ve encountered some truly wonderful nurses lately; while some people might say they get overly emotional and end up crying right alongside their patients, I think it just shows they actually care. They do their jobs with heart and treat every patient like a human being rather than just another number on a chart, and honestly, you have to respect that. On the flip side, those medical professionals—and I don't just mean nurses, but doctors too—who treat patients like they're absolute garbage are nothing short of sociopaths, and in my opinion, they should be removed from our hospitals immediately because they are genuinely dangerous to everyone involved.
I have my adblocker running so I don't actually see any of those advertisements, but I happened to catch a screenshot of what the forum looks like with them enabled, and after seeing that mess, I definitely have no intention of buying that particular phone. 😂
I have a rather curious story involving him. I’m not typically one to believe in these kinds of things—not even in this instance—but it was certainly an interesting moment. 😁 On the day 🤣 Dio passed away, I was sitting there listening to Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath when, out of nowhere, the lamp on my table started shaking. There wasn't an earthquake or anything else nearby that could have caused it, so I couldn't help but take it as some kind of sign. Though, looking back, I'm sure there’s a perfectly logical explanation for it. 😬

A dog is a living, breathing soul, not some stuffed toy, and they truly become part of the family. Asking me that feels a lot like asking if I’d rather save my father or my brother.

The mods on this forum should strip you of your privileges immediately, and frankly, they ought to report this statement to the FBI so the authorities can decide how to handle it.☕
I have to admit, if I were in that situation, I’d probably choose my own dog over a million people too—it's just how much we love them. ☕Could you maybe share a link to a reliable source that backs up what you wrote in blue bold? Thanks.
<3 Here is what a legendary vocalist had to say about him: link
This is truly another exceptional singer. There is such a natural resonance to his voice—it actually brings to mind Freddie Mercury for me. Much like the previous vocalist we discussed, he masters that perfect legato, pairing it with crystal-clear diction and a steady, organic energy. He manages his resonance so skillfully that he achieves a slight, subtle snarl without ever creating tension or resistance in his breathing. It’s quite evident how healthy his technique is, especially when you listen to how effortlessly he weaves in and out of those brief harmonic moments with the rest of the track, maintaining impeccable intonation throughout.
To put it simply, his legato is flawless, his diction is spot on, and his vocal technique is incredibly healthy.
