First off, Johnny Depp is a genius—absolute mastery, just fantastic—and I really hope he finally gets an Oscar for this.
But man, the movie itself is a different story. I could never get into that book; honestly, I thought it was pretty terrible👎 👎 so I went in fully expecting the film to be a total disaster. The first half? Just depressing. I was seriously disappointed. The way they describe Charlie's life—it felt rushed in the book and even worse in the movie. And the grandfather? Just unappealing. But once they actually step into the factory, things take a massive turn for the better—it's like Burton just loses his mind in the best way possible.👋 I was laughing the whole time. The songs are pretty ridiculous, though.👎
In the end, I'm glad because most of what I hated about the film is actually due to the book rather than Burton himself. Still, on the scale of Burton films, this one sits right at the bottom for me.
Is it really that hard to just set the JPEG compression to roughly -70% on IrfanView—you know, see how it looks, then use that as your baseline? Once you have that, you can just run a batch process and call it a day. 🙂🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

I just can't wrap my head around why they're so consistently good—is it because their academies have such high standards, or is the secret just grinding through Shakespeare?
The language plays a massive role, too. I remember this one series featuring a blonde actress who looked exactly like the Pamela Anderson type, but the second she started speaking with that classic English accent, the whole vibe shifted for the better.

I'm with you there—always have been.👍
It’s just that some people aren't built for the big screen—take Peter O'Toole, for instance. He never really clicked for me—and please, no sexual innuendos here🙂 )
I first caught a glimpse of him in the trailer for that movie about the idiot musician—but I heard it was absolute garbage, so I skipped it. Later on, I watched that horror flick set in the old house, and man, he was just incredibly cool in that. After that, I started paying closer attention to his work and honestly? I was floored. And don't even get me started on Quills! He absolutely crushed it in that one.
Just wait—next time you watch a Napa movie, you'll see this: a woman with a totally washed-out look and greasy hair stares at the leading man and says, "My beaver..." (long pause) "...is catatonic."🤣😂

The real question here—are we talking about someone who doesn't drink coffee, or just someone who won't touch Nescafé?
To be honest, I’m pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff—I don't really hang out with people who don't drink coffee. They seem foreign to me... maybe even a little intimidating?😁 😁

Just make sure you install the 9.4 patch, otherwise the whole thing will crash constantly. If you're looking to get serious, go with the Adobe suite. Edit your footage in Premiere, then handle the DVD-2 Authoring with Adobe Encore.
I mean, just look at Jude Law. Honestly, he looks so feminine to me—I don't think I'd ever actually register him as a man if I didn't know better.👎 👎 👎
Look, there’s no point trying to cram all 65 hours of footage onto a single DVD—it's just not worth it. Wouldn't it be better to put together a polished 45-minute highlight reel instead of three straight hours of his daughter just running around the room?😠
