Look, here’s the thing—these people have been living in caves for centuries. They’ve basically atrophied, so their only real edge is sheer numbers and knowing how to navigate the terrain.
I don't know, for me, the scary part was just how plausible the script felt. We aren't talking about zombies or some sci-fi nonsense here; this is the kind of stuff that could actually happen.
Regarding what you said about how they could have easily wiped them out—that’s really the core of the movie. It’s all about her descent into madness and the shifting dynamics within the group. You know the saying... he who fights monsters? She ended up becoming just like them.
Look, it really just comes down to personal taste. For me, "The Monsters" were absolutely terrifying—and they aren't even monsters, they're just people who somehow evolved backward into this weird hybrid of moles and human goldfish. Honestly, if your biggest gripe is that the movie wasn't scary enough, you're looking at it all wrong. To me, it was such a solid film that it didn't even need the scares to be good.
The movie is genuinely great, but don't go in expecting a total jump-scare fest. Just expect a really solid film. As for when it hits theaters here in the States, I've got no clue—I'm pretty sure I'll only find out via some dark ritual or a message from a demon😎
Man, this movie is incredible—total claustrophobia from start to finish.🙏
It’s a genuinely terrifying watch. Is it the cave setting? The creature hunting them? Or just how people act when they're cornered? Honestly, it's a bit of everything... I had a blast watching it, so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something intense.
glupinickname said:"Bernard and the Genie" — basically a decent British guy—a bit of a pushover—who finds a magic lamp right before Christmas, featuring a genie who can grant any wish. Rowan Atkinson plays this villainous art dealer with a goatee, and the movie is packed with ridiculous lines. Here’s one of my favorites: Bernard: "Yeah, I get why you'd think New York City is alright, but I actually wanted to move out of the city because the pollution is just too much." Genie: "Pollution?! Man, back in Jerusalem, merchants had to write notes on the vegetables just to make them look fresh!"
The movie itself holds up, but there was way too much shaky cam for my taste👎
It’s not bad, per se—but I feel like they should have wrapped things up after the first act, or maybe taken the story in a completely different direction altogether
I went through absolute hell trying to download this—and honestly, the version I found was just some low-quality radio rip. But man, they played it constantly on SiriusXM back in the day... I can't say anything bad about it, other than total respect.🙏 🙏

Look, here’s my take—I think 'Butterfly Effect' is just a shallow movie made for a casual audience.👎
whatever, I'll be the nice guy and recommend Cronus. It's easily the best vampire movie ever made, mostly because it approaches the whole genre from a totally different angle than anything else out there. I even updated my avatar to the main character. You know, that scene where he's licking blood off the floor? Nuff said.🙏
Since I live in a pretty small town and I'm not exactly the social butterfly type, I didn't really catch onto Jackson until HC showed up on our local TV stations. Even then, I was left pretty stunned.
Thank God for high-speed internet—even if it is a bit glitchy sometimes.
