Based on what some of you guys are saying on these forums, the entire population of the island should be dead by now. But clearly, that's not happening. Distilled water is basically just rainwater—it’s just how nature does its distillation. Look at old-school sailors. Back on those classic sailing ships, they’d get their water by hooking up tanks to the rain catchments on the sails, filling them up with distilled water whenever it rained. It works both ways, too: Drink 15 liters of water all at once and you're a goner. But eat 10 kg of bacon in one sitting? Same result. I really think any kind of extreme excess is just going to throw your body out of whack. Just saw Jamie Clark74's post. Jamie Clark74, you're the only one here actually making sense... nice work.
What were you even reading when you checked this thread? I mean, almost everyone except the OP said exactly that...
God, I can't stand the people who try to act smart without actually reading the topic first!👎

Distilled water is basically just a tiny step away from being toxic compared to regular water. I don't know if you realized that you can actually kill yourself with plain old tap water. If you chugged—I'm not totally sure of the exact math here—maybe like 50 liters of regular water without eating anything else, you could pretty much drop dead. It's because of those little electrolytes it carries, which distilled water completely lacks... so honestly, distilled might actually take you out even faster.
But it’s definitely not harmful on its own: like driftinggull13 was saying, you could probably drink nothing but distilled water your whole life instead of regular stuff and be just fine...
That performance honestly put her right up there with Nina Simone and Vanna White!!!
(I mean, when you consider those two have like twenty years of experience combined—fifteen albums, sold-out tours everywhere... she's just so talented that one single performance puts her in their league)
PS: Technically, you can only hear 🙏 🙏, but I think dustyscout53's theory about resonance is actually pretty spot on

Is it really blooming already? I don't see anything outside yet, but I can definitely feel spring in the air. Honestly, even if my nose is completely blocked, I just want that sunshine... 😁
Are you guys dealing with pollen, grass, or weed issues yet? Luckily, ragweed doesn't usually start messing with me until late August. 🙄
I heard on the news today😍 that ash trees have started blooming. No clue what that actually means for us, but... yeah, just thought you should know...
Thirteen years ago, I hosted the Oscars for the first time and man, everything felt so different back then—George W. Bush was in the White House, the war in Iraq had just wrapped up, and the economy was basically circling the drain...
Henry Anderson47 said:So, wait... you and Jose Miller3 seem to be around the same age from what I can tell—are you guys seriously hitting a midlife crisis already??? (Or did I totally misread the situation here?...)
Jose Miller3 hasn't even hit her midlife crisis yet!!!!...

I mean, aren't they? (not like you—more like me...)
It’s such a shame so much space in this thread is being wasted on petty bickering about whether the movie is actually good or not. For me, it was obvious right from the jump—the number of people who love this flick is going to be exactly equal to the number of people who absolutely hate it!
Personally, I thought it was great...
I just wanted to ask: what do you guys think she’s saying at the end? Is that even important? Do you even want to know?
PS: I like Japan more than the rest of Asia because Buddhism is really big there! Why was I the only person in the theater laughing after that line????
Vincent van Gogh said:Come on, give me a break... stop nitpicking over nothing. The movie is literally over three hours long, and now you guys are seriously tripping over a couple of minutes?
I'm heading to the theater today to catch the movie, and if this turns out to be true... man, I'm gonna be shouting at Krstulović to show up by 10:30 just to see what kind of mess I'm in.
Thanks a ton for the heads-up, though—it’s definitely good to stay in the loop on stuff like this.
I was honestly pretty shocked this past Saturday when I realized I’ve only rented 388 movies from the local video store so far... It feels like such a low number to me. If I factor in the maybe 500 films I've seen in theaters—though, if I'm underestimating my rental habits, maybe I am too for the cinema, too—plus a massive amount of stuff just watched on TV... but I don't even really count those because I usually just end up watching whatever happens to be on cable or streaming... Total count: probably closer to 2,000.
I tried keeping track of everything on IMDb, but honestly, it became such a chore. Logging every single movie felt way too tedious, so the whole thing kind of fell apart...
I’d say look into some solid life insurance—something with actual meat on its bones. Plus, let's be real, $20,000 isn't exactly a massive windfall—it's hard to pull off anything huge with that kind of cash. So, I’d probably just spread it around a bit... maybe put a little into life insurance, toss some toward a mortgage, grab some stocks, maybe some index funds...
So what’s the deal—we aren't supposed to eat fruit if we live in the city because it's somehow "unhealthy" just because it didn't come from some organic backyard garden??? 🤔
As if that little garden isn't probably sitting right next to a major interstate or some massive factory... so apparently that makes it perfectly healthy?!?!?!
