2004 Locomotive Championship Winners in Other Sports ·
Man, those games were absolutely brutal!!! Thank god the Locomotive refs actually pulled their weight in the first match to help them clinch the title! Congrats to them!
Montoya turns down McLaren! in Formula 1 ·
Carol Ortiz4 said:Honestly, nothing would make me happier than seeing Montoya jump ship to some other team while McLaren actually finds its way back to the top of the podium... THAT would be pure magic. 😁

It’d be a lot like watching Honda absolutely tear it up right now, especially after they finally cut ties with—well, we all know who! 👋
Los Angeles FC are the champions! in Soccer ·
God, it’s always the same old story—poor Jens Lehmann is always the one catching the blame. They kicked him out of Borussia Dortmund, and now they can't stand him over at Los Angeles FC either. Honestly, I really hope they go ahead and sign that Turkish player they were eyeing before; once that happens, Lehmann is going to be feeling the heat even more than usual!😁

Carl Brooks22 said:Where would they even be if it wasn't for Jens Lehmann?

Oh, sure—because Jens Lehmann is obviously the sole reason they didn't lose every single game in the Premier League all season long! 🙂
Who's going to take the lead first? in Formula 1 ·
I’m rooting for Ford (mostly just hoping they're the first ones to DNF)—though, honestly, I’ve got a feeling some General Motors car is going to drop out first, probably after a nasty collision with a Toyota or something. 😎
Ford Mustang in Formula 1 ·
Here we go again—everyone’s going to start preaching about how Bibi is going to climb back to the top and fight for the championship. Honestly? I’ll believe it when I see it. My gut tells me the lineup isn't changing one bit, whether you're looking at the constructors' standings or the driver rankings; it’s going to be the exact same trio at the front of the pack.

Look, it’s going to be a solid General Motors car—they're practically a lock for 4th place. Honestly, Ford and Toyota are miles behind them!🙂

Give me a break.
Now I’m actually looking at a third-place finish by the end of the season.

And who exactly is supposed to be trailing General Motors? WilliamsBMW, McLaren Mercedes, or maybe even Ferrari??😕
Bayern Munich👍
Paragalactic said:Captain Orgazmo—and Choda's crew—is hands down the greatest cinematic hero to ever grace the screen!
If I’m forced to pick from this pathetic lineup, then obviously, I'm going with Schwarzenegger! I mean, come on!

👍

Just wait until Orgazmo finally settles the score with those evil-assfuckin twins!!!😲

Khmm ... my point was that the Englishmen are the ones driving the Americans. In this movie, the Englishmen are pushing the Frenchmen around. So, at the end of the day, the main characters are... the Englishmen. There's no Amera in this one.

I’d love to see an American movie where the Frenchmen are the ones bossing them around—or better yet, where the Germans are doing the pushing!!😎
The 2004 Season in Formula 1 ·
Elizabeth Hughes via Montezemolo said:The number 13 hasn't been used in Formula 1 for years now...

Look at that! I’ve been following Formula 1 since 1989, and even now—all this time—I still haven't figured it out; I just end up giving way too much attention to the top-tier teams! 😢
The 2004 Season in Formula 1 ·
Elizabeth Hughes says Montezemolo is making calls:
So, David Coulthard isn't getting number 5, and Raikkonen isn't taking number 6... just because...

It feels like something totally slipped through the cracks between 12 and 14—or is everyone just being incredibly superstitious about this stuff??
Worst Sci-Fi Horror movies of all time in Movies ·
lonescout2 said:And who actually thinks Aliens is a good movie?
It’s just a bunch of American Marines—with an IQ roughly equivalent to a lukewarm cup of coffee—running around playing soldier.
The only redeeming quality of that flick is the android doctor.

Look, if you ask me, the second one is the best Sci-Fi movie ever made—it's the perfect follow-up to the original! Sure, the third one feels way too claustrophobic, but hey, that's kind of the whole point of the movie, and it still holds up. As for Alien Resurrection, it isn't exactly a masterpiece, but the solid cast basically carries the whole thing and gives the series a decent enough send-off.
No European GP on the calendar since 2005?? in Formula 1 ·
fadedsailor932 said:[B. Daklem, if they actually pull this off, all that's left are Monaco and San Marino—since they aren't in the European Union—plus Russia, assuming they even bother building a track...
🙂 Mike’s going global... [/B]

Not quite! Let's be real—the big money in Formula 1 is shifting toward breweries and tech giants now. You look at Williams, they don't even have a tobacco sponsor anymore. It would be absolutely ridiculous if F1 stopped racing in the United Kingdom, Germany, or Italy!
The FIA's ruling on Ralf in Formula 1 ·
From what I’ve gathered, the guy only switched lanes once—and honestly, since when is it against the rules to move over when someone's trying to pass you? Even if he did mess up, he’s definitely not the only one at fault here!

No way! The only time they aren't fighting each other is when Michael is already out in front!
2003 Season - General Discussion in Formula 1 ·
Lisa Parker18 said:Racing is just as mind-numbing this season as it was last. There's zero overtaking—drivers only swap spots through pit stops—so nothing actually dramatic or interesting happens on the track itself.

Give me this over last year any day of the week. It’s a hundred times better. Sure, the passing isn't constant, but at least it's actually happening!
