Look, the Lisinski is a great venue and all, but man, you can't even grab a smoke or a drink inside without being treated like a criminal 😁 plus ticket prices are going to skyrocket. I’ve no idea when the concert is actually set, but I know the same promoters who booked him for the Lisinski grabbed this spot immediately.

The Badlands option is easily three times the price, and even this one isn't exactly a bargain.
Seriously... why on earth would they pick the Kennedy Center? Do they think they can't pack Madison Square Garden, or is this just some kind of ego trip? 🙄
This isn't a full bad Seeds set; it’s a solo piano performance. I'm thinking the only accompaniment will be an acoustic guitar.

Look, I’m just repeating what they actually said. I don't have any inside track on whether their arrival is confirmed or not. Honestly, though, I doubt any city in the former Yugoslavia has the budget to pull off a solo concert for them. Realistically, I don't see them bothering to come out this way unless they're part of a major festival.
siljo said:Alright, let's talk concert and tour rumors for this year... anyone heard anything interesting? Word is Sting might be hitting Chicago in October.. What's the deal with Manic Street Preachers at the local arena?
Does anyone have any "unofficial" intel on potential European tours for certain bands? Come on, spill it. 😁 😁 😁
Let's go, rumors, rumors, rumors!!!
Sting has pulled out of tours a few times now, so I wouldn't hold my breath. As for The Hives, that was total nonsense—there were never actually any serious talks. Apocalyptica canceled because they decided to join Rammstein on tour as support rather than doing their own solo run. There's "speculation" 😁 that Franz Ferdinand might show up at a summer festival somewhere nearby.

I see the arguments are getting more desperate by the day. At this rate, we'll probably have Crnarić weighing in too.🙄 If they're so wrong now, why did they bother showing up to those award shows in the first place? Are they trying to claim things were somehow different back then?
So now you’re feeling all proud because Goldman Sachs happens to agree with you? Seriously, I thought they lived for the Grammy Awards 😁 Most underground bands who haven't even been sniffed by those awards probably feel the exact same way, which isn't exactly a shocker... It’s likely the same sentiment in film circles regarding the Oscar, but No man's land managed to snag one. Screw any country that doesn't have an Oscar 😁
