Pure romance... And what do today's high-and-mighty directors think—that it's totally normal for guys like Jack Nicholson, Sean Connery, or Clint Eastwood to hit on women half their age... it happens in basically every single movie...
Yeah. Seriously, I haven't seen the new Williams nose look this ugly in any photo before... man, when you see that snout on the car camera, it looks almost like a total weirdo—just maybe a slightly faster one, you know?😁
And you think the McLaren nose is pointy? Heh, it’s still not as sharp as back in '95—correct me if I'm wrong—when the FIA forced McLaren to blunt it down...🙂
God help us, what an absolute disaster of a movie... Is Depp even carrying this thing? He’s just wandering around town with freshly dug-up eyeballs, doing his job, and then—bam—killing people. Jeez. If Desperado was a dud, this is a total train wreck. It’s a perfect example of how a big-name cast doesn't actually guarantee anything. Enrique looks completely out of place in this one. The only thing remotely worth watching—like someone already mentioned—is the soundtrack.
alright then... there's plenty of this stuff out there...
she goes: "you're just jealous" and then comes this monologue: "me, jealous? now I'm the jealous one? oh, so now I'm the jealous one! maybe you're whispering on the phone? listening in on each other, huh? scheduling secret little meetings? just to laugh like idiots, staring at each other like lovesick pigeons? or like rats looking at each other... like you're walking around naked under the moonlight... ha! man... look, babe, when someone looks at me like that, I just walk up and take care of business right then and there—straight up. and after that... no, I'm the fool... I'm the idiot for wondering why the whole damn diner is staring at you... you're practically pulling them in with your eyes. you love the attention, don't you?! it feeds your ego, you know how it works... yeah, it totally does... - "it feeds my ego!" -"it feeds your ego!" -"it feeds my ego... you moron!"
I mean, I was kind of hoping for a different ending, but honestly? I had to admit to myself that the predictable route would’ve just been... trash. The movie itself is awesome, though. Plus, it's literally called "The Pledge" (so it makes sense that the whole point is about the grit needed to keep a vow) rather than something like "Forest Showdown"...

Someone with that much swagger either has to be at the top or they aren't interested at all. If he does quit racing, he’ll probably ditch NASCAR entirely. I mean, what's he gonna do, go raise sheep out in rural Indiana?? 🙂
👍 redheron12! you hit the nail on the head with this one. not long after the season ended, some analysts were dissecting Michael's whole vibe and basically concluded he's still an elite driver who lives for the win—but only if he actually wins! they showed these clips of his face after he had to deal with some rough luck and—get this—his beard looked even longer than usual! total pro, handles pressure like a champ, insane focus... but if things go south, it's a disaster.
honestly though, who's actually smart enough to realize when their time is up?
I agree that Fernando Alonso—or anyone with that ego—would never play second fiddle to him, but I definitely don't agree with:
having another driver would just ruin everything
because, so far, Michael has basically been the powerhouse carrying whoever was in that number two spot. in his whole career, you can count on one hand the number of times a teammate actually gave him a run for his money...

Man, Kimi or Pablo?! david , guys, seriously, david! It’s not like they’re just gonna toss a seasoned pro out the door to make room for some cold, arrogant rookie, right?

not even close... watched Home Alone the other night—I only really get into horror late at night, otherwise they don't hit right—then headed to bed. my bedroom door has this flimsy handle: you don't even have to push hard to open it, even when it's shut. it was summer, all the windows were wide open, and there was a storm brewing so the wind was picking up... just as I finally drifted off, the wind pressure caught the door and it swung open with this massive, loud CLICK! I don't even need to tell you how freaked out I was after that movie😱
and yeah, of course it had to be "The Ring" again...

No clue—I just watched a high-quality digital rip online.
Oh, and when you finally watch it, keep an eye out for that one scene where Otis presses the gun against the cop's head while the camera pulls back... it just keeps pulling back... and back... then it stops and just hangs there... feels like it goes on forever...
I'm usually not big on those ultra-gory slashers, but this one actually hit the spot for me. The plot isn't your typical genre trope—it keeps you hooked from start to finish. There’s a bit of everything too; even if nothing is a pure jump scare, there are definitely moments that'll rattle you. You get some blood, some weird "asylum" vibes, and then things get genuinely creepy toward the end... Just when you think you've seen all the tricks, boom—another element pops up...😉 The ending is a little predictable, sure, but it doesn't ruin the overall experience. Visually and sonically, the movie is killer. It might not be the absolute king of modern horror, but it's definitely worth your time.
haha... Man, back in the day—like way back in '85 or '86—I hit up this local theater near Des Moines... basically like a school gym setup where you didn't have assigned seats, so you just grabbed whatever chair felt right...😁
Honestly, having numbered seats is totally fine—don't see any downside to it—it’s just about having that extra bit of convenience.
