Doctor Zhivago

I really wish Jevgraf had actually managed to help Lara find her daughter. 😢

I have no clue why that specific tragedy hit me so hard, especially in a movie that’s basically one heartbreak after another, but there you go. 🕺

I even checked out Rotten Tomatoes.

Now I feel even worse.🙂

I’m currently scrolling through the IMDB reviews.

There isn't a sad face emoji available here, but I'll find a way to convey the vibe anyway 🙂

Honestly, those thick Soviet accents in the trailer were already a massive red flag for me, but it looks like that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how bad this movie is. Such a waste. 😢

There’s absolutely no way to group this with the actual genre classics. It just doesn't hold a candle to them.

Same here. It had a solid start, but ultimately it was a letdown.

Does every single movie really need to be about superheroes?
There’s something that bridges both worlds here

The Knick

It’s shot like a feature film. Absolutely top-tier 😍

I’m torn on this one. There are incredible movies and there are incredible series, and honestly, I don't want to pick a side.

Affair? Seriously, what even is Affair? 😕

boldeagle3 🙂

You hit the nail on the head. If I wasn't already a fan of Tom Hardy, he's officially won me over now. 😍

Garner felt totally fake and wooden. It’s like she was just uncomfortable being part of such a provocative movie 😕

But honestly, that's my only gripe. What a pleasant surprise 😲
Matt is a genius for taking an unlikable, ignorant, and stubborn character and turning him into a flesh-and-blood human being you can actually empathize with and pity 🙏
Jared was also really good, but I have to wonder—did they even cast him just to make Ron look better? You know, like he was reforming himself while surrounded by a bunch of queers 🤷
It's a fascinating subject; I actually found myself wanting to learn more about those clubs (they mentioned one in NY) and how all those supplements and medications actually worked. Truly gripping stuff 👍

When trailers lie (SPOILER THREAD) in Movies ·
It honestly drives me crazy when they shove a scene into a 🙂 just because it isn't even in the actual movie.

Go ahead and roast me since I can't think of a single 🙂 right now,
but you all know how often this happens.

Honestly, everything turned out pretty much how I expected. 🤷

I was a little surprised by Rush, but hey, whatever...

Man, I really should have placed a bet because I had this gut feeling that everyone mentioned for Best Actor would end up nominated. 🙂
This is actually the first time I've felt this way. 😬 So, what does it mean? Does this make it a bad year or a good one? 🤷

Shia LaBeouf

He’s so bad he wouldn't even fit in this thread.
Look, crimsonmoose3, I’ve gotta ask—why can't he just live on his own?
It doesn't strike me as being totally helpless; he should be able to manage some basic self-care, even if it's limited. The real question is the money side of things. Is he eligible for disability benefits? If he isn't, that’s where you step in to help out—and again, I mean helping within your own means.

On top of that, there's the option of having a social worker check in (you'll need to look into how that works). That way, someone with a disability can stay in their own home while the Social Security Administration handles the oversight and helps make sure the bills and stuff actually get paid.
Melissa Sullivan said:I have a question about these new referrals:
My gynecologist gave me a referral for hospital treatment, but he scribbled some extra details by hand at the bottom. He signed off on it with his signature and fax stamp (don't ask me why he did it that way—it's because he wasn't even listening to me 🙄)
So, my question is: is a referral like this actually valid?
I'm terrified the hospital staff will just brush me off and demand everything be computer-printed without any handwritten additions 😢

The nurse in his office tried to reassure me, saying that once a doctor verifies something with their official stamp, it's good to go. If anyone has a link to an actual regulation regarding this, I'd really appreciate it.

Just wanted to check back in and let you know everything went fine. They took the referral, and they didn't say a word about the handwritten notes.

I'm worried the hospital staff is just going to brush me off and demand everything be computer-generated without any handwritten additions 😢

The nurse at his clinic was trying to convince me that as long as the doctor validates it with his official stamp, it's totally fine. Does anyone have a link to an actual regulation or rule that backs that up? I'd really appreciate it.

Look, you guys have the internet. Just go look it up yourselves; I’m really not in the mood to sit here and recap the whole thing for you.🙄

A young kid shouldn't be—and absolutely cannot be—left in the care of anyone outside their immediate family without consent. Especially not when you're looking at eight years of being cut off from their parents. Does that even sound right to you?
You're just trolling at this point, and honestly? It's embarrassing.

They even wrote books. ☕

Sorry, but where exactly do they—or you—think Natasha was when she was eight years old? Hanging out at Disneyland? 😕

Jayne Mansfield lost her head in that horrific car crash.

Mariska was in the car with her, which explains that scar right under her eye.

My personal "favorite" theory? That Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood.
I mean, obviously not, but those rumors just never seem to die. 🤷

Ugh—this gives me major zombie Beverly Hills vibes. Seriously.
It’s basically been done to death: we’ve had the teen romance with vampires, werewolves, lycans, and witches, so it’s only logical that zombies would be next in line. 🤷

The movie isn't terrible, but it doesn't hit the mark either. If they had just leaned into a dark comedy angle or even a standard comedy, it might have worked. As it stands, it just feels super lukewarm and boring. 🙄
