Basically, expect your post count to dip occasionally if you participate in the chat threads. 🙂

Could someone be considered a sage within specific frameworks:
- Themselves
- Their family
- Their clan
- Their clan
- A spiritual community
- A religious community
- A business corporation
- A nation
- A state
- A continent (socially speaking)
- A planet
- The universe
- The Multiverse
- Beyond the bounds of space and time
🤔

Good morning, everyone.
What’s on your reading list this morning? I’ve been spending some time with Capra lately. As is the case with most readers, I find myself starting from the end. Here is a brief excerpt from the final pages:
* ........ moving from linear systems of resource depletion and the accumulation of products and waste toward cyclical flows of matter and energy; shifting from an obsession with objects and natural wealth toward a focus on services and human resources; transitioning from seeking happiness in material possessions to finding it in human connections. To borrow the words of David Suzuki:
Family, friends, community—these are the primary sources of profound satisfaction and love. We visit family members, maintain ties with our mentors, and share meaningful moments with friends. We undertake difficult challenges to help others, to save the frogs, and to protect the wilderness, and we find purpose in those efforts. Nature and service provide us with spiritual fulfillment. None of these joys deplete the Earth's resources, yet they leave us deeply replenished. They are complex and far closer to true happiness than simple pleasures like a Coca-Cola or a new minivan.*

If we're talking musicals, Moulin Rouge is still the gold standard for me.
That said, The Greatest Showman blows that one forgotten hit, la la Land, out of the water.

I couldn't find an existing thread on this, so I decided to create one.
How much optimism do you actually practice? How positive is your general outlook on life?
To be honest, I tend toward negativity. I struggle with deep-seated feelings of inferiority. I truly want to feel that sense of inner warmth and self-love that seems to elude me, and I want to build some actual confidence.
In your eyes, what does a positive approach to life actually look like?
Do you think this is something one can cultivate alone through sheer willpower, or is it better to seek professional help?
I appreciate any advice you can offer, and I’d value hearing your own perspectives on staying positive.
🙂
| I am a very negative person, feeling quite inferior overall, but I would love to feel that self-love I can't seem to find within myself and to become more self-confident. |

| Can this be developed independently, or should one seek professional help? |

I’ve been sitting here thinking about this, and I wanted to ask everyone: how much substance do you actually find when you hang out with people who are on their own spiritual journey? I mean, when it comes to really opening up and sharing the highs and lows of life across the board—is there any actual depth there? From what I’ve seen personally, every single person I’ve run into who claims to be into spirituality seems to have already picked a specific religion or a certain niche movement to cling to, and honestly, it feels like they aren't actually looking for genuine, soul-level friendship. It feels more like they just want to recruit anyone they meet into their little group or community. So, I'm curious, what has your experience been like in your day-to-day interactions with others who are also walking this path?
