Yeah, I figured.☕Just one pile of crap on top of another.
I couldn't stop staring at John Cusack's face... what on earth did they do to him??! Honestly, the whole movie gives me major Body Snatchers vibes—lots of screaming and chaos there too. That final scene where the lead is just sprinting in circles around that tower? Hard to watch. That frozen expression was brutal.🤣Like a hamster in a wheel.
What a disaster. I really expected way more from the Coen brothers. It’s just a mess—way too much dancing, singing, and swimming. I think I get what the director was aiming for, but still...🥱The only highlight for me was Hobie and that one scene where he delivers his lines.🤣 I was out cold after 30 minutes.
Anyone know how to deal with awful PMS symptoms? Specifically, her breasts are killing her. A friend of mine—an athlete—is dealing with this since she hit 35. About two weeks before her period starts, she can’t even touch her chest without pain. Forget about working out; she can't even go for a run. She's not interested in birth control, so does anyone know if there's an oil she could rub on to help ease the ache? Or anything else?🤔
Can my GP actually write me a script for one pack of birth control? I checked the price at a pharmacy and now my son is throwing a fit because he won't write the prescription since, apparently, I didn't ask permission first.🙄 Even if it's just a private script, I just want to settle the debt.
My fiancé won't even step foot in a small town in rural America to grab a drink, let alone deal with someone messing with his business.🤣 The other day I was spiraling—total panic attack because my period was late. My doctor sent me for a blood test, and honestly, I wouldn't wish that kind of fear on anyone. I just can't go through that again. Every woman should have the right to decide what happens to her own body. Period. I tried talking sense into my doctor about it, but he wouldn't even listen. Didn't expect that kind of narrow-mindedness from a medical professional. He just gave me this pitying look and said 🙏"women always end up regretting that decision."😵 From what I gathered, he thinks once you're sterilized, you're done—unless you go the IVF route, I guess?
Starting this thread because I need some insight. I'm over 35, no kids, no history of abortions, and I've been on the pill forever—first for cystic acne, then just for birth control. I want to settle this once and for all. I don't want kids, but I definitely don't want to deal with an abortion either. Angina pectoris runs in my family; both my parents have been diagnosed with it. That’s why I’m asking. I have a cardiology appointment in October for some testing regarding AP, and if they give me that diagnosis, would I even be allowed to get sterilized? Can I just go through a private clinic for this?
Most senseless movie I've sat through lately. Zero chemistry between the leads, terrible acting, and the plot? Completely unbelievable. The only decent parts were the scenery and the action beats. Honestly, they should’ve just ditched the actors and let stuntmen or pro athletes handle it; wouldn't have made a bit of difference.🥱 The whole thing felt like one giant commercial for sports gear and gadgets.👎 My favorite part was when they were climbing the Alps and that guy picks up a soda can someone left behind—I guess that's their way of telling us they're "eco-friendly" and saving the planet.🤦 And then there was that moment in Paris where his face basically screamed, "I'm a cop." I couldn't wait for the credits to roll. Someone needs to tell that blond actor to quit.

And honestly, there isn't a massive difference between how "real life Lili" looked and Eddie... facial features aren't really the point for the story being told.
All these comments about doing it for the Oscar are getting old, maybe even for 🥱
Because Eddie is a handsome guy with interesting features, while the real Lily was a balding man who would still look like a man even with a wig and makeup on. But I guess they had to do it, since nobody would pay to see a movie where Lily plays Danny DeVito. That whole makeup thing feels pointless to me.☕To ušminkavanje mi je bez veze. there are huge differences https://www.google.com/search?q=lily+...wIpw4s-SpNM%3A http://www.historyvshollywood.com/re...s/danish-girl/ What kind of casting is this...
Daniel Kelly57 said:The movie was solid and well-made, but I walked away with way too many unanswered questions. If they were going to make a film about this, they really should have gone deeper into what can actually be achieved through surgery. I honestly thought it was impossible to pull off a transition like that, yet the movie leaves everything feeling kind of vague on that front. It's a bummer.🍿
Yeah, it was impossible. That’s why she died—she went in for a uterine transplant that she ended up rejecting, which led to an infection. The movie focused more on their internal struggle than the medical facts. I found out about the infection part on Wikipedia.
Eddie and Lili Elbe look nothing alike. If you're going to paint such an important figure, at least try to make them resemble the actual person. Way too heavy, way too depressing. I actually turned it off halfway through. It feels like it was just manufactured for an Oscar, and the acting is totally forced.
The movie wasn't anything special. I laughed at a few bits, but overall...👎 Jason Statham was alright, especially in that nightclub scene where he looked like a spittoon version of Bruce Willis. Was that on purpose? A little dig at Willis?
Just so you know, it’s based on a true story. It actually happened, so the movie isn't some mindless garbage—it actually made me believe in humanity for a second. It was this beautiful story about the bond between a dog and its owner. I was a total wreck, crying my eyes out.🙂
I actually fell asleep during the last twenty minutes. Felt like they were filming on the exact same stretch of road over and over again.🤔Nothing special.
Yeah, I’ve finally tweaked my routine and started sleeping more. Still wake up a few times during the night, but it beats those mornings where you roll out of bed feeling like there's nothing left in the fridge.🤦
Run as far away from that stuff as you can. I was hallucinating like crazy—waking up in the middle of the night, pacing around, cleaning the whole house while sleepwalking, then having zero memory of it the next day. After two months on it, I had to quit because those episodes were destroying me. And man, the withdrawal? Four days of shakes, vomiting, and nightmares whenever I managed to catch thirty minutes of sleep. Ended up in the ER because of dehydration. It was brutal. If you really need something for sleep, maybe try Zan or Zonadin instead. Personally, I stayed away because the side effects outweigh any benefit, but Sanval is easily the worst insomnia med out there. 👎Maybe just try setting a sleep routine—go to bed and wake up at the same time, get some fresh air, and exercise. That actually worked for me. Honestly, they should just pull Sanval from the market.
The trailer alone had me laughing my head off. I really hope it’s not just a one-hit wonder with the humor. Honestly, though, you can't go wrong with those two. When does this hit theaters? I love Sofia Vergara; she's a comedic genius.🙏🙏
