Can't wait for the third one. It was kind of a funny man moment watching her sprinting across rooftops throwing grenades—I mean, seriously, how was that not suspicious in Kabul??😂I'm over Famke Jansen. Honestly, she looks more like a guy than a woman to me. Hopefully she stays out of the third part.
I knew something felt off. Even though their complaint form says they have an agreement with Time stating this wouldn't work out right, I should've just used the post office instead.🙂500 damn bucks. If I don't get my money back, I'll be haunting that newsstand every single day. To make matters worse, the woman at the counter told me I had to fill out the form myself because if people complain about them, they claim they didn't write clearly. Then, apparently, the folks at Time are acting shocked, asking where the hell Strmec samoborski is and acting like they don't even have a newsstand there. I should've just grabbed the package back then and pedaled it over to them myself on my bike. It would've been faster and more reliable. And I can't believe my entire package depends on some random code they use to look things up. What happened to names and surnames? My address? At this rate, if I don't have those codes, it's like I never even sent a package and they owe me absolutely nothing.
Keith Walker33 said:I don't get how you sent the boots through Time when you hadn't even cleared it with someone at Otto first!?
Time just moves packages from one newsstand to another. The person receiving it needs to know exactly which specific newsstand you used (every single Time location has its own unique 6-digit code)... You also have to leave a phone number so they can call the recipient once the package arrives... they don't deliver to home addresses... basically, someone from Otto should have come pick it up if you guys had an agreement... And most importantly, you CANNOT send or receive money through Time... It’s all about trust—whoever makes the first move is taking the risk...
When you filled out the form at Time, you had to list where you were sending it from and which newsstand it was going to... look around that city, see where all the Time stands are, and try to remember... You can check the newsstand locations HERE (use the kiosk locator) Just type in the city name and it'll show you everything... maybe it'll ring a bell... And don't be afraid to be a pest on their customer service line...
Well, that's the whole mess. Otto has a deal with Time regarding pickups, but because the staff at Time didn't know what they were doing, the package ended up somewhere it wasn't supposed to be.🙂I talked to Otto and the manager told me they do have an agreement with Time, just nothing like this disaster. And they wouldn't send the money via Time anyway; they'd just do a card transfer. I have the newsstand location and the address, and everything else except that damn tracking number. I finally got an operator on the line and she said she understands the issue. She told me I need to send an email emphasizing that this was a return, and then it should get sorted. Hopefully. Anyway, I'm never using Time again. Total idiots.
I’ve got a massive headache on my hands. I ordered some boots through Otto, they showed up at my place, and they were way too small. So, I sent them back the "right" way using Time. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for my money, but nothing. When I call Otto, they claim they haven't received a thing. Meanwhile, I checked the tracking number and it says the package is sitting at a Time kiosk at its destination. Otto is still playing dumb, insisting they have nothing. To make things worse, my mom tossed the tracking code, so now I don't even know where the hell that package actually is. I called Otto again and they basically said Time screwed up—that you aren't supposed to ship packages that way and it’s probably just rotting at some retail location in town waiting to be picked up. I’ve been calling Time all morning, but nobody picks up. I tried to see if they could find it by name, then went down to the shop, but the girl there had no clue; she said she just started working there.🙂🙂🙂I honestly can't believe they can't track down my package using my name, address, or the date I sent it.🙂I keep calling some toll-free number, but it's just endless hold music. Who else am I supposed to call?
Watched a movie yesterday. Total disaster. Reynolds was a complete wreck; the guy has zero acting range and looked bored out of his mind the entire time.🙄The special effects were trash, too—those crkotina looked absolutely terrible.🙄The only saving grace was Jeff Bridges. That Proctorica lady was so stuffed with Botox she could barely move her mouth.😂
Basically a fake-out movie. They should've marketed this as a sci-fi flick instead of an action movie, especially since Gerard Butler is annoying as hell here—even though I usually dig him. Didn't even finish it. Just lost interest. I mean, they take over the White House, wandering around D.C. with mortars and bombs... yeah, right. As if that's happening after 9/11. 🤣😂
Quick question. I bought some books on eBay, maybe a pound or two total, and opted for COD. Now the books are $33 and I'm being told I have to pay an extra $20 for shipping?! WTF?!😲The guy told me yesterday shipping would be $6.75. To be fair, the package showed up at my door the very next day, so I tried ordering again and asked him to just send it standard, not expedited, since I figured that was why the shipping was $20. Now he’s messaging me back saying the shipping came out to $55 and he'll refund half. What gives? Even the lady at the counter couldn't figure out why I'm paying $20 when I could just pay $6.25.😲
Not sure where this belongs, so if anyone knows, let me know. My grandfather passed away recently, and before him, my grandmother. Her father left for Uruguay back in the early 30s and just never came back. I doubt he even had a photo of my grandma. She only had one picture of him, taken somewhere back in the 40s. Now that I’ve finally found that photo along with some old papers, I want to try and track him down—or at least see if he had any descendants living in Uruguay. There’s always been this rumor that he lived there with someone, but nobody can prove it. So, my question is where do I even start? All I know is he was in New York City, and that's about it. There’s an address on the back of the photo from when it was taken. He passed away sometime in the 80s.
Jason Vaughn482 said:That’s interesting; for me, Mirzaten works wonders for sleep, but when it comes to anxiety, I don't feel much of an effect at all. Are you taking the 15 mg dose? And what else are you running alongside it?
5mg Zodac, plus 25mg Xanax. Sometimes at night. I take a quarter of an Albonil in the morning too, though I'm phasing it out since it doesn't do much. My stomach handles the Mirzaten and Xanax just fine.
The Associated Press says they slow down your metabolism and digestion. I ditched the unknown because I hadn't been to the bathroom in six days after stopping. And don't even get me started on Seroquel—it felt like someone smacked me upside the head and then handed me some Xanax on top of it.🙂 Mirzaten doesn't do much for my sleep, but it helps with the anxiety. It also helped me kick my painkiller habit and stopped those daily headaches, so I'm sticking with it.
Jason Vaughn482 said:Look, laxatives don't destroy your stomach, though they certainly can mess with your intestines; I've been using them for a decade, and sure, my bowels might be a bit "lazy" because of it, but I simply cannot fathom surviving ten days without relief. If I miss even one day, the bloating and intense pressure become unbearable. As for that Senna stuff? It's completely useless. I spent days taking it along with two teaspoons of flaxseed, and nothing—absolutely nothing. Even prunes or soaked dried plums did zero for me. In my experience, if it isn't Donald Trump or a heavy-duty stimulant like Dulcolax, nothing touches the problem.
Just read the warning on the Dulcolax bottle—stuff about abdominal bleeding or sudden pain after long-term use. Whatever, you know your own body better than I do. Anyway, I just made myself a weak cup of Turkish coffee with plenty of sugar and milk, then heading to the bathroom.😍
Donna Torres5 said:So, I decided to try out some Portalak this weekend—a mix of senna tea and some probiotics. Honestly, I barely managed to make it to the bathroom yesterday, and even then, it wasn't exactly a dramatic situation. It was pretty uncomfortable... so, I think I'll just take some Bekunis today to get things moving properly.
That Bekunis gave me such bad hemorrhoids😲 😲😲, spent a month on medical leave and swore off it forever. Try taking Sensiom on an empty stomach instead; regular use actually leveled things out for me when I used to go ten days without a movement. Laxatives just wreck your gut—it's a fact, you can end up with all sorts of issues.
David Vaughn75 said:Yeah, it was gradual. Honestly, most of the tapering process was totally manageable—I could handle it—but when she dropped me from half a pill straight down to zero, man, I just completely lost it.
Hey, my psychiatrist put me on 15 mg of Calixt. Before this, I was taking Lexapro 10 mg and some Xanax. Basically, I took Calixt for two nights and woke up in the middle of the night with terrible shakes, chills, and a high fever. I called my doctor in the morning and she just told me to stop taking the med. That was on Monday. I still have a fever (around 100.4, so when it spikes, I take some Voltarena to bring it down). My throat is also feeling a little scratchy...
Could the fever be a reaction to the medication? It’s listed as a super rare side effect...
Could be. I had a sore throat and a fever right when I started Mirtazapine, even though it's also listed as a rare side effect for that one.
