This looks absolutely dreadful...

He’s easily one of the better directors we have coming up. That was an excellent trailer.

I spent half an hour just banging my head against the wall.

I honestly don't understand why people are claiming this is his first truly good performance.
I think *The Meyerowitz Stories*, *Punch-Drunk Love*, and *Reign Over Me* are all truly excellent films.

Sandman is a legend.

He’s a "winner," if you want to call it that. He felt like he won in the end, sure, but let's be real—that guy isn't going to change. Even if they had let him walk away, he'd still be placing bets, racking up debts, and finding himself right back in the same mess before long.
I would have loved to see him get out of it, too, but honestly? The movie is much better this way. At least, that's my take. 🙂

Just how bad can the ending be? Everything leading up to it was pointing toward this exact conclusion. It really was the only way it could have played out. 🤷
He ended things as a "winner," wearing a smile on his face. 🙂

I haven't seen any of the previous versions, but I have to say, this is an excellent film.

For me, this is the film of the year. And honestly, best ass of the year on a woman. 😁

For me, Burning was easily the best film of 2018.

I’d have to agree—this is easily my film of the year.

It’s a good sign; they’ve finally made it to the level of a Terminator.

It’s worth a watch if you have nothing else to do, but I wouldn't call it gripping. This segment feels like a total action flick, sort of a Mission Impossible rip-off, just significantly less inspired. 🙂
