It looks like there's plenty of length, but honestly, I can't find anyone interested in buying my two NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti OC edition cards with the vapor x dual fan setup ($150 units total) 🤔

I'd personally ask for $167 per card, but if you just want them gone right now, maybe give them away for $400.
Bryan Gray91 said:Let's just say it would help my workflow, so an upgrade that offers a noticeable speed boost might actually pay for itself eventually. I know Flash can be a pain, but I did some digging online regarding browser settings to get it running properly. Since I'm already running 64-bit Windows, I'm wondering if jumping to a processor that's roughly 3x faster along with more RAM would make a significant difference.

Try this instead: uninstall the current version of Flash and install something like 9.0.28 or 10, then switch over to Opera 12.16. You shouldn't have any issues with Flash that way.

Timothy Kim60 said:You can find the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 5.0) in several local shops—it's a decent board if you're looking to save some cash.

The price here in the US 81 miles is roughly $173. It won't overheat since it has a 4+1 phase design, yet it still supports up to 125W.

If you aren't planning on overclocking, the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
and the Corsair LC-CC-95 cooler
would bring the total to about $350.00 or $467

Do you see either the NVIDIA Control Panel or the Windows Installer listed in that menu?

silentcobra3 said:Hey everyone, quick question for those of you running an Intel graphics card—does anyone happen to have the 14.12 OMEGA drivers installed?

If you do, could you do me a huge favor and check under "Apps and features" in your control panel to see exactly how many megabytes your NVIDIA Control Panel is taking up?

I noticed something a bit weird during the installation process; the installer says the NVIDIA Control Panel should be about 150MB, but once everything is finished and I check "Apps and features," it’s showing as only 26.7 MB.

I've got an HD7850 and the 14.12 Omega driver, but I'm not sure what you mean—can you explain a bit more?

It's not some weird combo of a monitor hooked up to a TV, either.
The screen I'm using is an HP Z24n (24").

Man, I am seriously let down by Intel right now.

It’s a bit easy for you to just say "format the drive and reinstall macOS."

I'm building a PC these days and I'm short about $133 so I was wondering if you could lend me some cash. Since it's not much to you, I'll pay you back as soon as I can...

That power supply is from 2008, and honestly, you don't need to swap it out for what you're doing.

Grab an extra SSD too

along with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and you're all set.
You should be looking at about $1000 for this setup; I personally wouldn't drop 1,100 bucks on it.

Back when you picked up those two HD 7770s, they were actually cheaper than the GTX 570 by quite a bit. $333 They both deliver basically the same performance. Honestly, if you aren't running into those CF issues, just stop worrying about it, save up your cash for a GTX 970, or maybe just wait for the GTX 960.

Check out the review over at PCMag. They tend to be a bit more objective with their testing.

Brian Campbell36 said:I'm leaning toward Samsung, mostly because of the warranty. If I have to wait two months for them to fix an issue, I'll just pop in a new SSD and call it a day. 🍿

Looking at this EVGA Z77 Extreme 6, it seems a bit better than the EVGA Extreme 4.

That said, it’s hard to find. From what I've read in reviews, the EVGA Extreme 4 is actually great for overclocking and stuff—RAM can hit 2800+. On the other hand, people seem to run into plenty of issues with that MSI Z77 G43 I almost bought.

Anyway, I'm going to sell this 7770 soon and upgrade to a more powerful single card, though I won't be dropping any serious $1167 on a GPU like a GTX 970 or anything similar.

the GTX 970 is about $833

You could go see it in person since there's still nearly a year of warranty left. I'd try to negotiate the price down $17.

A GTX 750 Ti is basically new with a two-year warranty and only pulls about 60 watts, so temps stay low. But a 660 Ti isn't new, might be overclocked, and draws 150 watts—it's a total gamble.
