Pitstops and full car swaps coming up soon

Actually pretty interesting

If they just ditched the chicane, this would be perfect.

Alain Prost is still absolutely dominating.

Honestly, I’m kind of shocked seeing the stands packed like this.

This season actually looks like it might have some legs.

It’s still pretty much a mess right now—but hey, I’m calling it now: the future looks bright.

Alain Prost takes the lead while Ayrton Senna drops out during lap one.

Sounds familiar.

Good grief. Watching qualifying right now... what a disaster. It's just chicane after chicane. Top speed clocked at 120 mph—it’s a joke.

If they didn't have all these chicanes—maybe we'd actually see some decent slipstreaming battles. But this? This is just pathetic. Purely pathetic.
cosmiccyclist8 said:you clearly have zero memory of what Schumacher was pulling back in the nineties

Oh yeah? Enlighten us—what exactly was he doing?

The only thing I can think of right now is him stacking up championships in absolute mid-tier cars

or—since we're talking about Spa—that win where he snatched victory from P16 in crazy weather
neonfox65 said:Basically, Rosberg is just some German fraud.

Wait, what now? So Vettel isn't a German fraud either?

Rosberg could easily be a Swedish fraud for all I care.
Roger Wright94 said:Politics-wise, there's zero chance those two ever make up or fix things.
The whole situation is way too toxic by now.

please, they're all jokes—give it two or three years and they'll be at each other's throats again

just look at Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, acting like nothing happened even six years ago
slybison8 said:This whole thing gives me major McLaren 2007 vibes—you know, back when Hamilton and Alonso were basically at each other's throats.
.

Honestly, you just need to look at how Lewis Hamilton is the common thread in both scenarios. He's the Common Denominator—as the Americans would say.
Joshua Scott said:Look, I know you can't stand Lewis Hamilton, but this was totally on Rosberg. Honestly—I'm convinced if anyone else was in that spot, they wouldn't have pushed it that far, especially not a teammate. It's a different story when you consider Rosberg hasn't exactly been able to match Hamilton's pace on track lately—so he's basically playing muscle to prove to the crew he won't just whine anymore, even if it means potentially screwing over both of them. Truth be told, I bet once he realized he might clip his wing against Hamilton's tire, he just committed to it. Besides, if he hadn't overtaken him, he probably would've lost anyway by spinning out. But pulling that move on your own teammate during Lap 2? That's just morbid. If he actually had the pace, he should've waited for a real chance.

The only thing I'll give you is that I'm happy for Kimi. If he actually helps with the car's development through his feedback—and if that leads to him being able to slap Fernando Alonso around—then yeah, he’s definitely got what it takes.

You're contradicting yourself. First you call it Rosberg's mistake, then you go ahead and blame him. A "mistake" is exactly what clears Rosberg of the charge.

But we aren't talking about a mistake here. This is some calculated, sneaky provocation to force a collision so Rosberg walks away with the points and zero proof of fault.

Calling it a mistake is a joke. This is a masterpiece. Purely malicious, sure—but a masterpiece that's going to hand him the championship on a silver platter.
Jason Campbell70 said:If this was just a one-off, you could call it that.

But this whole mess with Rosberg? It’s got deep roots.

Once is a fluke, twice might be luck, but a third time... yeah, right.

If I were Lewis Hamilton, I would've ripped Rosberg's head off the first time this happened.
Instead, Hamilton is just breezing through the whole thing.

Look, Rosberg is a smart kid. He knows exactly where he's vulnerable—specifically, if Hamilton gets ahead of him, he's toast. But he's clever enough to orchestrate a crash that looks like a total racing accident. He's shady, sure, but he's calculating. Not an idiot. At the end of the day, those points are staying in his pocket.

Rosberg is basically the new Alain Prost. What he pulled today is straight out of the Suzuka '89 playbook. It’s obvious it was pure Prost, but it was executed so perfectly that nobody can actually pin it on him. And honestly, Suzuka '89 was the gold standard for trolling—nobody ever proved Prost did it on purpose, and they even managed to get a certain Senna all worked up in the end.

Interesting.

Some people here are seriously out here claiming guys like Bourdeux and Meknish wouldn't even manage to complete a single lap in a Caterham.

But look at Chilton—he knocked out every single lap last season—minus one where he was basically an absolute beast.

Mirko_M said:So now they're gonna have two drivers who can't even pull off a single lap...
coastalwolf6 said:Nah, just saying he's cheaper. 😁

So does that mean Chilton is actually a subpar driver?
darkmarlin16 said:Chilton is driving in the US Grand Prix—the cash finally hit the account during FP1. 😁

So, are we seriously saying Chilton is actually a better driver than Bordeaux or McNish?

Monaco - TBA

What kind of joke is this??? If they’re gonna race in Monaco, they have to use the Grand Prix layout—anything else would just be a total farce. At that point, they might as well just head to Nice

now it's just kids whining about every little thing and some crazy old guy at the top trying to please them by pushing all this nonsense he comes up with...

Every era has its own vibe. Honestly, even now, I can't wrap my head around why teams have to use the exact same color schemes. It makes zero sense to me.

And I'd bet anything that 99% of people just take it for granted.

Same deal here—you don't get it now, but in 20 years, people will be looking back thinking that was just how things were.

Time moves on and changes everything. Always has. Not just in Formula 1—just in general since humans first showed up.

Get it!?

Active suspension—Lotus brought it to the party back in '87, but Williams was the one actually cleaning up the trophies.

If you look at the stretch from ground effect through active suspension—basically that high-innovation era from '77 to '93—Lotus was definitely pushing the envelope more than anyone, even if McLaren and Williams walked away with most of the championships.

You’d also have to throw Brabham in there from '86 as the precursor to what McLaren did in '88.

So, roughly speaking: Lotus, Brabham, Ford, and Renault were doing the heavy lifting on innovation, while McLaren and Williams just reaped the rewards.

Look, F1 is about moving forward, not backward. Besides—your logic is totally broken. If you're seriously pushing for manual gearboxes and old-school clutches, why aren't you demanding carburetors, aluminum chassis, lawnmower engines, and leather helmets too?

Can you even see how nonsensical you're being?!
