Cocky's Breakfast (2007) - Austrian film in Movies ·
I honestly don't get the appeal of watching small-town mentalities, generational clashes, or depressing social issues on screen.
As someone who doesn't deal with any of that in my own life, why on earth would I pay to see it at a theater for "entertainment"??!
😕

It just makes zero sense to me..
🤷

Neither the American filmmakers churning out this stuff nor the mindless crowds flocking to theaters to watch it for fun—I find the whole thing completely incomprehensible.

The animation is top-tier.

So, I'm curious if anyone else has sat through this yet? What’s the verdict?

Kung Fu Panda

Look, you have to wait until the kids stop flooding the theaters. Once the crowds thin out, you don't have to deal with that obnoxious, loud-mouthed mob.

Finally, an actor who isn't stuck playing some Russian mobster for once. He actually nailed the role.

As her family begins to question her sanity, Sydney slowly realizes that her anonymous donor opened a door to a nightmare world that only she can see."

It was fine. Watchable enough. No complaints from me.

Jessica Alba is alright, though I honestly can't remember what else she's been in...
😳
Some sexy guys in this flick—especially the second doctor.

It was probably just some old Google Video link.

Regarding those uploads...
The video can't be longer than 10 minutes or over 1024 MB.

which reminds me,
given how many logical holes and massive blunders this movie is riddled with,
YouTube’s limits are such that they wouldn't even be able to host longer features like the ones these guys uploaded anyway.

Mixing comedy with horror has always been a signature move for Romero.
Gonna go rewatch Dawn of the Dead to get in the mood.

The trailer is the only thing about this whole mess that isn't garbage.

Honestly, if I hadn't sat through this, I would have been convinced "No Country for Old Men" was the absolute worst movie of the year.

This thing isn't scary. It's practically a comedy...
Take the first encounter with a zombie—it's a sheriff, and one of the actors quips, "I don't think this guy is just looking for his registration and permit." 🤣
Then there's the scene with the zombie clown, the hospital zombie getting his eyes popped out by electric shock, the chasing through the woods while the guy just keeps filming instead of actually helping... all of this is supposed to be horror, but it ends up being laughably ridiculous.
The movie tries to critique government propaganda, but it's just a mess of rip-offs. It copies the found-footage style of Cloverfield, then leans into the vibe of Happening or I Am Legend.
But hey, what else can you expect from a movie that has an official MySpace page?
🙄
The comments on the YouTube trailer for this are full of praise. Clearly, those people were the only ones left unedited.

Point of View in Movies ·
Joshua Lewis6 said:I’m no movie critic or anything... honestly, I’m not exactly known for my silver tongue, so I won't bore you with a massive essay.

Just finished watching Point of View, and after giving it some time, I actually really enjoyed it. It has a few minor hiccups, and the way the story is laid out drags those flaws down a bit, but it's not even worth overthinking. Since everyone loves to play judge anyway... I'd give it an 8/10.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
In my opinion, it pulls you right in. It’s definitely not some cinematic masterpiece, but it's still worth your time.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Donna Brooks83 said:The movie was fantastic... my guy absolutely lost it when I told him I booked tickets for a flick starring those two, but by the end, we were both dying laughing. We actually agreed it had been way too long since we saw a comedy this good.

You dodged a bullet there.

Laura Roberts61 said:Absolute comedy gold. Seriously, just incredible.👍

Ashton plays this incredibly annoying, jokester type who thinks he’s being hilarious by dropping cheap one-liners on a forum, and honestly? He’s absolutely terrible in this movie.🙏 There’s enough comedy in this world to keep us laughing forever!

The ending was incredible. Seriously.
