I honestly don't think those nasal strips would do a lick of good for my guy here. See, those things are meant for your nose, but he doesn't have any breathing issues there. It’s more like he just keeps his mouth hanging open, almost like he’s constantly hungry...
I was actually reading up on it, and apparently, the issue is tied to the soft palate. They say surgery involves tying off certain little structures inside the mouth to stop the swelling...

So, what I'm hearing is I should just buy an apartment with an extra bedroom where I can either hide out every single night, or he can just be exiled there...
Being overweight doesn't necessarily have anything to do with snoring. I know plenty of thin people who snore just as loud.
He used to drink this stuff every single night. Our current solution—since we aren't married yet, though we definitely plan to...
Once we finally tie the knot (there is absolutely no "if" about it)😁 he’s going to get that procedure done. It only takes ten minutes and it's totally safe. And believe me, I am anything but safe when I'm being deprived of sleep.
There really isn't any other way. Nothing calms a snorer down quite like a hand to the head or a divorce.
And yeah.

And here I was thinking this thread was about women showing up to the gym in full glam, haha... but instead, we're talking about posers
I haven't really spent much time inside a gym myself, though... but I certainly know what happens outside those big fitness centers that have indoor courts attached. You've got these guys, all decked out in makeup, just idling on their motorcycles or parked by their trucks, sipping on some energy drink... and of course, the mandatory uniform is a tight t-shirt. Ideally, the tighter, the better. Honestly, even Spider-Man would be impressed by how much those tiny shirts are struggling to hold it together.
Anyway, let's get back to the actual topic: ladies who show up to a sweaty workout session looking like they're ready for a gala 😁

As you can clearly see, he isn't just being polite; he's actually literate, too. s3v3n, honestly, does it even matter if it's summer or winter when your dad bought you a car with AC anyway?🙂

See, you are completely convinced that you're being witty. But you aren't. Honestly, it's just off-putting...
Rough topic to tackle... First off, I don't think you can really talk about general self-confidence as a single unit. For instance, I might be absolutely certain that I’m a pro in Field A, yet I wouldn't dream of claiming that same level of mastery when it comes to Field B. Nobody—unless they are incredibly arrogant or just plain dim-witted enough to believe they excel at everything—can maintain high levels of confidence across every single discipline. And if someone actually claims to have that, well, they’re just giving us something to laugh at (take Ljubo Ćesić Rojs or those vapid socialites who flock to compete for miss😁).
Confidence itself is such a wonderful feeling. But you don't just conjure it out of thin air; it's built on how the world reacts to you. If 90 out of 100 people tell me I'm attractive, then sure, I'll feel pretty confident about my looks. If they all tell me I'm unattractive, I'm probably not going to feel particularly self-assured either... unless, of course, my IQ is hovering somewhere near the level of an amoeba.
People who can't stand seeing others project confidence usually have much deeper issues than those who radiate it. They simply can't "allow" anyone else to feel empowered because, quite frankly, they're just projecting their own jealousy over the lack of that feeling within themselves...
This winter is absolutely killing me. I spent my entire life living in a mild, sunny climate, and then suddenly, over the last few years, I’m stuck dealing with sub-zero temperatures. The wind might howl in coastal towns, but out here, the cold just cuts right through you to the bone.😁
People claim it’s because I haven’t put on enough weight. Honestly, I’ve gained about fifteen pounds in the last year alone, so that shouldn't be the issue... yet it's still freezing. This winter is just miserable.
I've been dealing with headaches since my teenage years. It happens almost every single day. And the sensation in my head... it’s never quite the same twice. If I don't get some coffee or something to boost my blood pressure, the pain starts hitting me first thing in the morning. Over the last ten years, I have undergone every possible medical test imaginable. I've visited every specialist and clinic out there, wasting a massive amount of both time and money... and absolutely NOTHING has worked. It’s just a constant, simple headache. The doctors claim it's due to low blood pressure. My mother suffered from chronic headaches her entire life too. After fifty years, those headaches eventually led to a brain tumor, which literally took her life. Naturally, that sent me into a total panic. I went right back to consulting with doctors. I know I probably sound foolish or even ignorant regarding all of this. I am both. We all get a little irrational when we're in pain and dealing with health scares.
For me, coffee and eating something small every few hours is what helps. If it isn't coffee, then at least half a dose of Nurofen. I really hate relying on pills, but unfortunately, every other day I have to take at least half a tablet. It's terrible, but it's better than letting the pain destroy me.
Marijuana is often categorized as a soft drug, but I honestly feel it’s been unfairly lumped in with the hard stuff. In my view, it doesn't trigger addiction... there hasn't been a single recorded instance of someone becoming truly dependent on it, and you certainly don't read news stories about people committing heinous crimes, murdering anyone, or beating their spouses while under its influence.
Alcohol is a much nastier substance altogether. As are cigarettes.
I've only got about 1.5 gigs left on this one... since my last Hard Drive bit the dust recently, there's just no way I can keep everything stored on it anymore...
Nicole Sanchez45 said:Have you ever considered offering an "envelope" to a doctor or perhaps some of the lower-level medical staff... or maybe they were the ones who initiated the request themselves? Did they let her in, or was she turned away?...
I wasn't exactly making an offer. They were the ones asking... mostly through the nursing staff. We're looking at somewhere between $1,000 and $3,000... Besides that, they were asking about the inpatient hospital benefits starting from... $67 Daily coverage... plus those extra stipends for medication costs... $57 Every single day... even though those medications were technically covered by Medicare. But let me tell you, if you don't cough up the cash, they just tell you "we don't have any in stock," leaving your own family members to suffer through it... I'm talking about those morphine injections and patches. And that was the routine for eight long months. Just imagine that... Between all those lattes, perfumes, and other little luxuries... I ended up shelling out about... well, let's just say it was quite a bit over eight months just to cover my nursing care... $30. And let's not even get started on the costs for surgeries... those are a whole different beast entirely.
Nicole Sanchez45 said:Would you report a doctor if they were asking for a bribe?
I am. It’s still functioning... Every single day, it protects everyone. There really isn't any chance for the average person here. Doctors always act like they're some kind of "higher" beings...🙂
NAPOMENA: Dr. Paladino was the only one who didn't try to shake me down for a bribe, nor would he even touch two bottles of fine wine offered as a thank you. He simply told me, "I don't perform surgery on your mother for the money; I do it for you and for her." Such a wonderful man...🙂
I read the New York Post and decided to pass it along. Now, I honestly can't tell if those New York Post DVDs are coming out once a week or just once a month...
I have to admit, I’ve been completely off the grid the last few days... just dealing with some urgent business that had to be finished on a strict deadline. Because of that, I totally missed the announcement in the New York Post about those discounted movie DVD bundles. The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post are doing book deals, while the New York Post is offering DVDs.
So, I ended up picking up the 'Life is Beautiful' DVD today, which actually comes with 'All Dogs Go to Heaven' as a bonus feature, and honestly, I am just thrilled. Two wonderful films plus the paper equals$12...🙂
And I only stumbled upon this sale by pure accident. Am I the only one who missed the media blitz, or was there really no real advertising campaign at all?

What on earth did you find in your kid's bag?
Benzos are basically tranquilizers. If you mix them with alcohol or take too many, you end up with this total memory blackout... Cogentin is used for Parkinson's disease. If you combine those with alcohol, things get weird... you lose your memory a little and start acting a bit crazy.
