Midnight Meat Train (2008) in Movies ·
This movie is absolute garbage. The plot? Total nonsense—just complete and utter nonsense. And those idiots over at AMC Theatres are out here promoting it like it’s some big-time crime thriller. Good God!

So if you're cool with him being on screen, I don't see why you wouldn't dig the movie itself.

Look, all I'm saying is—it's nothing groundbreaking, just your standard flick, but it's worth a watch. A solid little family movie night kind of thing.

I mean, just look at everything—starting with the dialogue (especially those cheesy, comedic lines). It's like... nobody actually expects anything more than that typical Hollywood nonsense, and honestly, that whole vibe just practically screams clichés from the jump.

Wait, seriously? I had no clue they actually released that in 3D. Honestly, if you’re going to go that route, you might as well make it a gimmick people actually remember—like, use the tech for something! I mean, look, the movie is basically just one giant pile of clichés stacked on top of each other, but hey, it’s still worth a watch if you’ve got the time.
Shoot 'em Up in Movies ·
Honestly, this movie is just pure, unadulterated nonsense—but man, was it a blast. I mean, if I’m being real, I’d probably rather sit down with a solid animated flick any day of the week... there's just something about how cartoons can be more grounded and actually make sense compared to this chaotic mess. But, I gotta give credit where it's due—some of the jokes were so ridiculous that I was literally cracking up harder than I have in ages. : ) If you're in the mood for something totally mindless and just plain stupid, you should definitely give it a shot.
Deception (2008) in Movies ·
Yeah, I’m with you—that movie was a complete disaster. The script? Total garbage... just super unconvincing and predictable from start to finish. Seriously, save your money and DO NOT WATCH IT!
Movie Reviews & Recommendations in Movies ·
Look, I’m not gonna shell out money to see a movie in a theater—especially not a blockbuster—if basically everyone who’s seen it is calling it a total disaster (think along the lines of *Waterworld* or something equally messy). But, if the reviews are actually split? If people are divided? Then yeah, I’m definitely going to go see it and make up my own mind. Honestly, I don't give a damn about professional critics or their "expert" takes. Their opinions are pretty much the last thing on my radar—I've lost count of how many times they've trashed a movie that I actually thought was pretty decent. That alone is enough reason for me to just ignore their reviews entirely. I've got enough sense and my own way of looking at things to form my own critique without needing a handbook.

Actually, that’s not even a sequel—it’s a prequel.☕ And honestly? Any attempt at a follow-up without Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels just wouldn't cut it. It would be totally pointless.

Honestly, I feel like there’s a whole genre out there for the "stupid and even stupider" crowd—they definitely deserve their own spin-off series.
Michael Clayton in Movies ·
Absolute masterpiece. If you ask me, it should have walked away with the Oscar for Best Picture,
instead of whatever that weirdly abstract mess from the Coen brothers was.
I mean, I’ll just go ahead and grab an actual DVD for my own collection for like five bucks—since renting one costs me four—so you tell me if that’s even worth it. : )
Is The Hobbit being made? in Movies ·
I’m honestly just dying for a decent adaptation of The Hobbit—because, if I’m being totally real with you guys, that book actually hit me way harder than The Fellowship of the Ring (and especially compared to those last two books in the Lord of the Rings trilogy).

Movies like that... man, they just completely blow you away.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show in Movies ·
Look, the movie is totally ridiculous—like, completely brainless—but it’s got that certain something that just sticks in your head and won't let go. Plus, I gotta say, Susan Sarandon is looking pretty damn sexy in this one.
Saw IV in Movies ·
I gotta admit, those Saw movies are actually some of my favorites. Honestly, I can't point to a single one that's bad—which, let's be real, is almost unheard of when you look at most sequels from other horror franchises. That first Saw caught me totally off guard, just like it did for so many people, and I was hooked. Sure, it’s obvious that these sequels are basically recycling ideas, but for my taste? They nail it! Everything about them is just wild, and since it's all fiction, you shouldn't try to take it too seriously or look for realism—it doesn't really make sense if you do. There’s definitely some naive stuff and logic gaps here and there, but overall, the Saw films are super well-made, and more importantly, they're just fun and engaging (they lean so hard into those famous twists, and I find myself just sitting there waiting for the end to see how it all wraps up). After the original, this fourth one is probably my favorite—it's high-energy and stays interesting the whole way through. It kind of reminds me of those gritty crime procedurals you see on TV, just... uh, a much more brutal version. Highly recommend! 👍

One of the main reasons I dig the Saw movies is because there aren't any damn teenagers in them. I am so incredibly over watching annoying little brats in horror movies.
What's your go-to movie genre? in Movies ·
Sci-Fi Thriller, Horror, and Drama.
Lynch's The Elephant Man in Movies ·
I’ve gotta say, this movie just totally floored me with its atmosphere. I mean—seriously—I don't think I've ever experienced an atmosphere quite that immersive or suggestive in any other film, before or since.
Michael Clayton in Movies ·
Honestly, such a solid movie.
Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) in Movies ·
Honestly, I think this remake beats the original hands down. I really don't get why people put that first movie on such high pedestals—like, why is it considered one of the greatest horror films ever made? To me, it’s easily one of the weakest things Carpenter has ever directed. The execution is just... rough. Look, I get that they were working with a shoestring budget, but some of those scenes? A group of middle schoolers with iPhones could have shot them better. And the plot is basically non-existent. I guess the only "hook" they had going for them was setting the whole thing during Halloween.
Stardust in Movies ·
Pretty fun little flick. Honestly, even the romance bits didn't feel too cheesy—which is saying something. All in all, I liked it!
