Handball Euro Finals: America vs. Denmark 20:24 in Other Sports ·
Huge props to our guys for fighting their hearts out and grabbing that silver! The Danes played a hell of a game, but honestly, without that goalie of theirs, they wouldn't have had much of anything... though I gotta give it to them, their pace is insane—definitely the fastest team on the planet right now...
Lina really should be kicking himself. I mean, how does a coach with that much experience let himself pull a stunt like that? And twice, too... getting tossed during those high-stakes moments just because he couldn't keep his cool and kept arguing... absolutely wild...

It just started happening 🙂 when 🙂 got involved.
Who else should we get on ABC 🙂 to make sure everyone stays 🙂?

Huge congrats to our guys once again!

Heheh, just read through all this and had to laugh at feralraven40—man, that guy seriously doesn't know how to take an L... honestly, huge congrats to our guys, they showed everyone exactly what they're capable of. We'll just have to wait and see if Mexico is actually still a powerhouse in water polo or if they're just living off their old glory days.

It was about time we absolutely crushed them... honestly, things just aren't the same without Mexico in the mix...

Honestly, this movie is total garbage... just look at the lead actors, the acting is so wooden... it’s basically on par with those cheap daytime soap operas you see on local TV... if you actually want to sit down and watch a decent new horror flick, go check out Evil Aliens—it's a killer British horror comedy instead.

casualotter21 said:I saw this movie on opening night in New York City and it was totally awesome. I watched it on video at least once too and thought it was great. But now I'm 10 years older and more mature, and I realize the movie is stupid as hell... but honestly, I don't even care. It's still cool!

I'm with you on that one 👍
Back when I was 16 about ten years ago, it totally worked for me, but today? Man, it makes me want to head West and never look back. Still, it can be pretty fun and relaxing in its own dumb way

casualotter21 said:Brian Gonzalez7, let me know if you ever snag "In the Mouth of Madness"—I'm dying to see it. I caught it once on my phone like 7 or 8 years ago when they aired it on New Year's Eve. Honestly, the movie was such a blast for me just because it leans so hard into those H. P. Lovecraft stories, which is a massive win in my book! 🙂

Anyway, I was hanging out on your blog today and wanted to see if we could work something out... maybe you could hook me up with a few of those Japanese horror flicks you've got on your drive? Specifically, I am super interested in UZUMAKI and Suicide Club. Please, please, please! 🙂

I've got Uzumaki, but I don't have Suicide Club at the moment. How do you want me to send the file over?

.

Hell yeah. I’d be super grateful to snag that movie. My collection is sitting at around 200 horror titles right now—mostly Japanese stuff and total trash gems—so maybe we could work out some kind of trade? Let me know!

Man, you rarely see a gap this massive even in basketball... DC could seriously run the league this year...

SO WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR WITH THIS MOVIE??!!

Look, I've got it on DivX if you're interested... I'm just struggling to track down one specific flick, In the Mouth of Madness, so if anyone's got a lead on that...

Constantine said:So, I was thinking about that one movie with the killer stray dogs. Man, that opening scene where they break into the house and just... eat the old guy's face? Totally unforgettable. But that feels like a lifetime ago, back when horror movies actually seemed to be everywhere in America. Nowadays, I feel like I never hear anyone bring it up, even as a recommendation or a classic example of a good scare. And don't even get me started on seeing it on TV lately. What gives? Is it just a bad flick, or is it just getting super old, like >? Maybe it’s just my memory playing tricks on me and I'm remembering it better than it actually was. 😕 Anyone out there actually seen this thing?

Total classic, though my memory is a bit fuzzy since it's been forever...
Who's actually going to this festival? in Movies ·
Zeljkoo said:Man, where did all those horror film festivals disappear to? 😠

They used to be all over the Criterion Channel, but nowadays you hardly see them playing at places like the Fillmore.

It’s all about Guillermo del Toro, Dario Argento, and Lamberto Bava now...
Female serial killers? in Movies ·
-haf- said:So, I just finished watching Mindhunters. Honestly? It was kind of mid.

The whole time I was sitting there wondering why I’ve never actually seen a movie where the serial killer being chased by the cops is a woman?

Does that even exist out there?

And what would the feminists have to say about it? Like, why aren't they pushing for more stories like that?

Women don't go around using knives; they do it psychologically. Since you can't really prosecute someone for that, there just aren't any movies made about it.😁 😎

Genital pain... in Health ·
Zachary Ortiz said:Hey guys, I’m dealing with some massive health issues regarding my... uh... extremely oversized reproductive equipment.

Besides the fact that I get this unbearable, stabbing pain every two or three days, lately—as if that wasn't enough—it keeps leaking like crazy after I finish peeing. Like a rusty old metal faucet just won't shut off. 😢

My urologist tells me the issue probably stems from being so incredibly gifted, though he didn't rule out the possibility of inflammation due to my... frequent sexual activity.

Even though I fought tooth and nail against his bureaucratic nonsense about scaling things back, I eventually had to just surrender to the empty, storm-like rhetoric of that medical board of Swiss phrenologists.

So now, I have to somehow cut down those excessive 37 sessions a day to a more reasonable 26, just so—and I quote—"my majestic organ can fully revitalize and be physically prepared for all the challenges the new academic year brings." End quote.

Since I’ve never been in such a tough (okay, maybe hopeless) spot before, I’m asking you, my fellow forum members, to please help me find some light at the end of this dark tunnel with your wise advice and words of support: Mount Rainier - Saint Roch - Appalachian Mountains.

Thanks in advance.

From the bottom of my heart.

Jesse Sanchez7 said:The first half of that sentence is just typical nonsense about everyone in Japan, and the rest sounds like Miike’s Visitor Q. 😁

I feel like these folks obsessed with everything Japanese don't realize they churn out like 400-500 movies a year over there. Most of them are absolute trash. Some are okay. A tiny few are amazing.

But man, that doesn't mean every time Miike has a bad case of food poisoning, he accidentally drops a masterpiece. A little critical thinking wouldn't hurt...
👍

Unlike Hollywood, which hasn't put out a decent movie in years.

northerncrane4 said:So, when exactly did time actually start, in your opinion?

Man, I finally got around to watching Ichi. Honestly, Mr. Miike probably spent the entire year before filming that absolute disaster eating nothing but straight fiber, because I swear I’ve never seen such a massive pile of crap in my life. And hey, I say that as someone who once happened to be at the San Diego Zoo right when Tantor decided to let loose.

Just admit it—you're way more into those "masterpieces" like Titanic, AVP, and obviously that garbage "Day After Tomorrow" and all the other junk Hollywood keeps shoving down our throats... not to mention Butterfly Effect, which is just a pathetic rip-off of Donnie darak zar.

Ichi is pure gold, so don't even come at me about him. 🙂
