Jerry Martin19 said:Alright, we've done enough deep thinking for one day. Look, I'm not arguing with you about preferring The Phantom Menace over some other Star Wars franchise movie. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but you can't just claim something like Windows XP is worse than Windows 3.1...😕
Actually, you can, because it's just a fact that XP has more features and better code than 3.1. You aren't even getting what I'm saying. Seriously...
Jerry Martin19 said:Alright, level with me then. For example, which movie is better? The Godfather or The Fast and the Furious...
You can't settle comparisons like that with mere facts, and that's exactly my point. But you don't want to get it, so you won't. I can't help you if you refuse to understand what I'm actually saying.
That’s just your opinion, and opinions aren't facts. Facts are things like a meter being 100 centimeters or people having two arms and two legs. What you think about certain movies isn't a fact.

It’s gonna be trash, not class. He’s comparing himself to millions of other players, while this movie is only being compared to five others.
Episodes 4 and 5. Honestly, 5 is way better than Star Wars: Episode I, though I’d say 4 holds its own just fine. The story is solid, and the way they handle the kid's growing power and superiority is top-tier. All those complaints about Jar Jar and whatever else are just ridiculous when you realize how much more naive the older sequels actually were. Fans don't even know what kind of movie they wanted after all this time; if anything had been released, people would have found a way to hate it anyway. It was just okay for me the first time around, but the more I watch it, the more it actually grows on me.
Listen, you absolute idiot, he’s part of it too. Honestly, The Phantom Menace is easily one of the top three films in the Star Wars franchise, maybe even one of the top two.
Comparing him to Morgan Freeman? Please. Comparing Samuel L. Jackson to some washed-up old man is a joke. There isn't a single movie with Jackson that can be bad. NONE. Even if the movie is absolute garbage, it’s still cool for the minutes he’s actually on screen.
Listen, buddy, even the birds in the trees know that Samuel L. Jackson never dies as a "loser." He always stays Cool. If you don't like that, it just means you're working for the dark side, and honestly, you need to be taken out.
Just look at the sequence on the boxes. It goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, then 6. And honestly, don't even listen to those haters; the newer installments are just as great. Personally, I think the first one is an absolute classic, and the quality just keeps climbing. The second part drags a little bit, sure, but that's just how the story goes.
Spider is absolute trash. They’re the only video store that ever had the nerve to charge an annual membership fee (do they even still do that?), and their prices were always through the roof. Even at my local Spider, the staff is impossible to deal with. Honestly, I hope they go out of business.
I’ve got 6 here, but they leave movies sitting in the "New" status for way too long.
Yesterday, The Morning Call ran this piece about the history of VHS. I’m curious—how many of you actually still use tapes? Honestly, I still do. I’m constantly recording stuff off the TV, and we end up watching old movies we taped ourselves all the time. As far as I’m concerned, it isn’t dead yet. 😁
The Cinema is king, hands down, no competition. All those morons whining about popcorn being a distraction are just plain stupid. After that, it’s DVD then VHS. I only use DivX for TV shows and adult movies.
Right after watching, I had to go check if Nishi actually won a gold medal in equestrian at the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles, or if they just made it up for the sake of the story. Turns out, he really did! 🙏
Yeah, sure. They prove their worth every single year in their domestic leagues and cup competitions. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona wouldn't be who they are if they weren't sitting at the top of the Spanish league 95% of the time. Just throw 18 random teams into that elite league and what happens then? Bayern Munich ends up hovering around 10th place every season, and PSV Eindhoven drops even lower. These clubs live to be number one or right next to it. If they aren't, 90% of them just become losers.
