Since I don't fit into any of those categories, and since stupid, low-brow humor just doesn't do anything for me, I really don't think there's any actual value in it. I mean, I know there isn't.
Honestly, I’d much rather sit through my 20th rewatch of something original by W. Allen, Billy Wilder, Charlie Chaplin, Menzel, Jim Jarmusch, DiCill, the Coen brothers, or even Monty Python (who don't just do parodies). That stuff actually has value...
It’s a pathetic genre, even if Mel Brooks is its leading figure. Just pathetic...
I think you should just stop. You're incredibly boring and exhausting.

Come on, who wouldn't love a classic like that?! 😁
Legend.
I live for parodies like this. Those other mindless junk movies? Not for me. In The Naked Gun, even O.J. could be funny. ☕

They were waiting because the track was littered with debris, bits of rubber everywhere, and the fact that the race got stretched out by that SC. Then you've got engines, tires, all that stuff coming into play. As for Kimi, he's an idiot. Don't even try to group him in with normal people. What kind of sane person slams into a wall MULTIPLE TIMES in a single season just because they felt like it?
stormybadger8 said:The rule is just stupid. It couldn't be any dumber if they tried.☕ I don't get the logic behind banning pit stops while the SC is out. Probably "safety" reasons,🙄 because apparently it's way safer to pull in and out of the pits while everyone else is crawling along the track at a measly 186 miles/h compared to when they're all stuck behind the SC doing ☕ .
The rule makes perfect sense. If you pit while the SC is out, you gain a massive advantage over anyone who pitted during green flag conditions. It’s not the same thing when your rivals are doing 155 miles/h or 81 miles/h.
By the way, the track was great. Felt like a massive go-kart track. Pretty sure every driver had a blast.
Look, guys, if we're talking about how competitive this is, I doubt it’s ever been better. We’ve got five or six drivers on the grid right now who could realistically fight for the win any given Sunday. Back when you had Schumacher dominating for a decade, people still complained that it wasn't exciting enough. So what exactly are you looking for? For me, after years of being totally bored with the sport, I actually became a fan again because the racing is finally worth watching. As for the rules, I think the FIA is just trying to find that sweet spot, but with all this tech changing constantly, it's a hell of a difficult job to pull off.
You can find "documentaries" like this on pretty much every topic imaginable, and if you ask me, they're nothing more than a way for self-proclaimed experts to grab a little spotlight. You see this kind of nonsense all the time on shows like "fringe science," which is exactly why I stopped watching that show entirely. It’s just a bunch of people with scrambled brains who claim to be "experts" trying to tell us that our own eyes and the work of actual engineers are wrong. When there are so many high-quality documentaries out there about animals, nature, space, history, or travel, you have to be a total masochist to sit through this cheap, trashy junk. Pathetic.

Why was the Mi-24 removed from the admin team? And why does Endymion no longer have access to the natural science PDF? Now, this entire sub-forum is essentially rendered useless. It will just become a collection of tedious pseudo-scientific topics and theories that lack any real substance... people won't even bother posting meaningful content anymore; instead, everything will devolve into mindless chatter and endless, empty arguments.
Who on earth are you supposed to show these advertisements to if there's nobody left on the forum besides a handful of spammy idiots?
Truly, I applaud you for how effectively you've dismantled this community. 👎
P.S. Your server performance is actually quite excellent. 👍
Looking at who's complaining the most, I can only say one thing—bravo Anderlon, finally something smart is happening. 👍
Modern CGI has completely murdered any sense of imagination or innovation when it comes to set design. Why bother building anything physical when you can just whip it up on a computer for a fraction of the cost? But here’s the thing—you can always tell. There's zero chance you won't see the digital seams. It's a shame, really. Movies are turning into nothing more than a bunch of ones and zeros...

I mean, provided we can actually figure out how to shield astronauts from radiation over the long haul (that's the big hurdle, isn't it?)... But it feels like either the willpower just isn't there, or perhaps it’s just not in anyone's best interest to turn space into the next great frontier for profit...
Space was always a political playground. Back when it served those specific interests, the money poured in. Science benefited immensely, but unfortunately—for many people, myself included—removing politics from space programs led to the only logical outcome: much smaller budgets. Our scientific understanding and technological capabilities are practically limitless right now. There isn't anything we can't dream up, design, and build. It really just comes down to how much an "investor" is willing to shell out.
It’s really not a shocker. Anyone who remembers Athens and the Olympics knows how Iraq absolutely dismantled Portugal, even with stars like Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch.

It’s honestly hilarious how everyone rushed to sign that petition to save the local theaters—everyone from random nobodies to those big-shot celebrities who were clearly just doing it for the clout. But then, once the Europa Theater actually steps up and does something worthwhile by screening the most relevant movie out right now, Tarantino: resistant to death, suddenly nobody shows up. $6.75I’m sitting in the theater with maybe ten other people. That's it.
Does nobody else remember when that old theater downtown used to be the absolute best cinema in town? I still think about it.
And this goes out to anyone who hasn't fallen for the woke crowd or the escalator hype yet: support this fundraiser for the local cinema. I honestly think they really need the help right now. Even if you weren't planning on going, just go to the movies. It’s about time we pay back at least a fraction of what we owe to these old theaters.🍿
Watched it tonight. The humor actually lands—really top-tier stuff—and the cast is solid. Most of them are faces you’ve definitely seen in various shows or movies. The robots themselves get pretty tedious toward the end, though, and the jokes start thinning out.

Look at the Netherlands. Most people today only associate that country with legalized marijuana and prostitution. Who even travels there besides high schoolers looking to blow off steam on graduation trips?
