What does it mean to be a true and good American?

Being an American is just how you were born, but being a good person? That’s something you actually have to earn through your actions.

As for nimblemarlin17's take on his comedic timing, I think there's plenty of it if you look at
Demolition Man and Oscar. But honestly, I never watch him expecting a comedian.
redwalker6 said:As far as mindless action goes, sure, Commando and Rambo II and III are great flicks. But honestly? They’ll never top the more serious stuff like Die Hard and Terminator for me.
redwalker6 said:It’s definitely a solid movie, but I wouldn't call it spectacular. The action is top-tier, and there are a few great one-liners from Schwarzenegger, especially during that opening scene where he's lugging that massive log. My main gripe is that he feels a bit over the top in certain scenes—I can't quite put my finger on why, but it just felt off. There were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way throughout the runtime. Still, Rambo is better.

As for getting hooked? It sucks, but let's be real—people don't usually spiral after one pill or a gummy.
I’ve lost people in my circle who ended up six feet under, so I get where you're coming from. But you can't lump weed, edibles, and heroin into the same bucket.😉

Honestly, it drives me absolutely insane. They bulge up and then eventually recede. I've been trying to figure out what actually triggers them... does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? I'm seriously considering what might help. Maybe if I start using hand cream more frequently?
Larry Wells2 said:So, I'm writing this because I'm planning on trying drugs for the first time. I'm 17 and a junior in high school. Just a heads-up: don't bother trying to talk me out of it, because I'm going to do this regardless of whatever stupid comments you leave. I guess I've just reached a point where I feel like I've done everything else and I want to try something new. To be clear, I haven't even touched weed yet. I have zero interest in smoking that. But all my friends are into speed now, and now this other friend is pushing us to try cocaine. Money isn't the issue. I'm just stuck on what to actually go with, so I wanted to hear about your experiences. What's the best way to get a real high without being a total zombie for 24 hours? I'm thinking about doing something Saturday night so that by maybe 2 or 3 in the morning on Sunday, I'm somewhat functional, though I still want the experience to actually hit.

By the way, the pacing feels a bit off—there's a lot of dead air. While the TV show can be absolutely hysterical (most of the time, anyway), this movie version just doesn't hit quite as hard on the comedy front.

While he was out visiting various national associations leading up to the election congress, he had promised to shake up the world's premier club competition by capping the number of teams allowed per country at three instead of four.
