I think my sister actually owns that. 😁
And of course, she’s got one of those sticker albums, too. 😍

look, I know I already laid out my take on this once before...
you can keep venting about how much of a nightmare your mom is—and honestly, you’re probably right about everything you’re saying. But listen, you need to focus on building your own life and your own future, not trying to fix hers. And yeah, she's abusive... so what? What are we supposed to do, call the cops? Contact CPS?
how many more finals do you have left? are you actually pulling all-nighters to get through this stuff?

I finally get home looking forward to it, only for her to drop this: "Oh, I rented out the beach house to a friend for that exact week." Then, she has the nerve to suggest, "Well, if you really want to go, you can just stay an extra week." When, exactly? At the end of August when everyone else has cleared out? 😠
I feel like I’m actually going to lose my mind...

I totally agree that there are plenty of fascinating people out there with diverse interests, and if you take the time to actually talk to them and get past the surface, you can be pretty pleasantly surprised.
But honestly? I still think the level of ignorance in these online spaces is through the roof. Just look at the stats—in the US, the average person uses way more soap than you'd think, yet hygiene levels can be such a tell-tale sign of how backward a society is. That kind of physical sloppiness usually goes hand-in-hand with being intellectually, creatively, and spiritually dull. Of course, it’s different in big cities like New York or LA, much like how it differs among the youth and the educated crowd.
Anyway, that's just my two cents... 🙂
