You give me the left, I'll take the right, and maybe then we'll actually have something to work with.🙂
Breaking the Waves in Movies ·
The better the movie, the more agonizing it is to watch. Either way, it's a masterpiece.

I don't mean the ones with the darker reinforced toe area, but more like this:

Thanks.

This is basically what I wanted to invent 😬
I seriously need a pair like that.

Look, I’m no therapist, so I don't have the credentials to tell you whether people can actually change or not. But if I look at my own life? I don't think we "change." We just realize things, accept them, and learn how to deal with stuff that feels foreign to our nature. It's like someone who's naturally a procrastinator—they aren't going to suddenly undergo a spiritual awakening and become a morning person overnight. They just learn how to manage their time so they stop showing up late to work. At the end of the day, it just comes down to how much willpower you were born with.

So I'm wondering if anyone is actually thinking about hitting up this show? 🙂

Come on, think about it. 😁

I'm looking into it. Just hope it doesn't end up being a total letdown.

I’m obsessed with tights and pantyhose. You can find them everywhere now in the States, in every color and pattern imaginable.
I picked up something similar at Topshop recently, though these were thicker and the polka dots were way bigger:

But I'm really feeling these vibes:

Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I’ve got this stupid question that I’m still going to hash out with my OB-GYN, but honestly, it’s easier to just vent anonymously online first 😬

Is it actually necessary to get blood drawn and run a full hormone panel?
About four years ago, I went through this exact thing—did the tests and was on birth control for a while because of PCOS. Look, I know it sounds irresponsible, and when it comes to health, you have to pull out all the stops, but the issue is my cycle is a total mess. It’s impossible to pin down day one, let alone count to day twenty-one. Plus, half the time that "twenty-first day" falls on a Sunday or I'm just too busy with work to deal with it. I already had an ultrasound, and between the irregular cycles and needing protection, I need to be on those pills.

Now I’m just sitting here waiting for ten different people to jump down my throat about how I should care more about my health. 😬

Anyway, thanks. 🙂

I actually think that Inside Out album isn't half bad 🙈
How to master lucid dreaming? in Psychology ·
I used to mess around with lucid dreaming, and I actually pulled it off once. I was back in high school when it suddenly clicked—I realized I was dreaming. I sent a quick text at 😬 thinking, "Alright, time to go hook up with this guy." But before things could even get interesting, I slipped right back into regular dreaming 😢

Another time, I almost had a lucid moment. In the middle of the dream, I stopped to wonder if this was real life or just my head playing tricks. But then I saw myself standing buck naked in the middle of a busy street with fish swimming through the air, so I figured, "Nah, this is definitely reality" 😬 and just kept dreaming.
Best tribute bands? in Music ·
redmarlin3 said:So, do you guys actually enjoy going to Tribute Bend shows?

It’s not like I live for them, but I’ve hit up a few and they weren't terrible. To me, it’s just hearing songs I like played live—nothing more, nothing less. I’m not interested in debating whether it's "right" or not.

edit: since I'm staying neutral😁
Ryan Adams in Music ·
Man, I can't believe how much people here used to trash him 😢
I’m late to the party by like ten years, but I finally got hooked. That's what being young is all about... I listened to his stuff a hundred times in just two days, constantly spinning Gold and Heartbreaker. Then I started diving into Whiskeytown and Cardinalsa... 😍 Personally, I love 🙂
How do I become a music critic? in Music ·
I can't stand people who just trash critics. Sure, there’s a whole crowd out there who couldn't do the job if their lives depended on it and have zero objectivity, but you also get the ones who actually know how to write a solid piece. They can actually point people toward decent artists and albums worth their time. You shouldn't take them too seriously since everyone has different tastes—some people love exactly what the critics hate and vice versa—but they act like a compass. You need that kind of guidance when you're drowning in a sea of new releases.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) in Movies ·
The movie was absolute garbage; I can't even remember a single joke they tried to make.
Bright Eyes in Music ·
Kyle Wilson74 is actually incredible 😍 I’ve always been obsessed with these little prodigies who start composing at 13... compared to the nonsense I was getting up to at that age.
Not Franz again... They were decent a couple of years back, but man, I’d love to actually see someone new for once. It feels like we just get the same lineup on repeat here. Honestly, I don't know what's worse: listening to bands that peaked twenty years ago or hearing Franz and Kaiser for the hundredth time.
How did you all get started? in Music ·
My brother basically played me like a fiddle, forcing everything from Azure through Zappa all the way to Miles Davis down my throat. It was all such a drag that I ended up doing a complete 180 just to get back to the roots 🤮.

Back in elementary school, I was all about R&B—think Destiny's Child vibes—and I’d dabble in some indie stuff like The Cardigans or Nirvana, but nothing stuck. Then I pivoted to hip-hop during most of middle school 🙈, when 50 Cent and that whole era hit. That was my wake-up call. Eventually, I just swept all those CDs into a drawer because I couldn't stand them anymore.

I went totally silent for maybe three months. Just didn't know what to listen to. Then my brother pops back up and shoves Soundgarden in my face. A few tracks triggered some old memories and I was hooked. From there, I dove into Temple of the Dog and the whole grunge scene, grabbed more CDs, and finally broke free from his influence to hunt for music on my own. I circled back to the legends like Led Zeppelin and just kept digging deeper.
Along the way, I met people with totally different tastes who introduced me to goth, metal, electronic, and all that good stuff.

Honestly, my playlist is a total mess right now, but that's just because I hang out with such a diverse crowd. They've shaped everything I hear.
I only ever listened to Queen and they were alright for me.

I can't even wrap my head around her song because of the vocals, the melody, and the lyrics!!!?
Is it easier to grasp now that I've repeated myself!? You happy now, sweetie? xD

I read the entire post and just focused on his section. I'm not going to sit here and comment on every single word for you...
