Chase Online in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·

I'm feeling a little lost here, but I’m trying to use this token to send some money to a friend through my Chase account. I’ve handled bill payments before, but I’ve never actually sent money to someone at a different bank. I usually just move things around within Chase, so I want to make sure I have this right.
For the recipient's account number, it looks like the routing number comes first followed by their account number. If I'm remembering correctly for a Chase transfer, it would look something like this:
234009-XXXXXXXXXX (where the first set is the Chase routing number and the second is the actual account number?)

I assume I should leave the "Model" field blank?

I'll fill out the address, the purpose of the transfer, and the amount, right?
And am I correct in thinking I should leave the authorization number field empty?

By the way, if I submit this online right now, how long does it typically take for the funds to actually hit their account?

Thanks a lot for the help... hope to hear back soon! 🙂

Exactly, it's the routing number. And yeah, pretty sure that's it, I haven't double-checked lately, but it should be.😁 I think even when you're paying bills through JPMorgan Chase, they give you a dropdown menu so you don't even have to type the damn thing in manually...

In the real world, it usually shows up in under 10 minutes. I've tested that a million times...

I can't believe I'm even typing this right now. My blood is absolutely boiling. I just saw the latest update on the situation, and honestly? It’s a total joke. A complete and utter circus. We are being played like fools by people who wouldn't know real leadership if it hit them in the face. Everything they told us last week was a blatant lie. Pure fiction. They promised stability, they promised progress, and instead, we get this absolute dumpster fire of a policy. It’s insulting. It’s actually insulting to our intelligence. How much longer are we supposed to sit here and take this? We’re being pushed around while the elites laugh all the way to the bank. It’s pathetic. Truly. If you think for one second that this is going to work out, you’re delusional. It won't. It's a disaster waiting to happen, and frankly, it's already happening. Wake up! People need to stop nodding along to this nonsense and start demanding some actual accountability. I'm done playing nice. This is beyond ridiculous. kaže:
Are you kidding me right now? Seriously, what on earth do you find interesting about this?
😳 Total trash emoji.😁

Whether it’s funny or not, I’m just saying there’s a bunch of us absolute nutcases who have been glued to these forums since the day they were even invented. Most of those "old school" emojis were basically our first ever digital laughs, you know? It hits you hard—that pure, unadulterated nostalgia just kicks in out of nowhere.😁
And honestly, it cracks me up whenever someone drops that "what even is this?" line. Like, seriously? Give me a break.😳When you already know that guy is a total fraud...😳Man, this thing would’ve been running perfectly for years before they started pushing all this modern crap on us to "update" it. Total joke.😁

I’m sick of this modern smile nonsense. Seriously, I am so done with it. Everyone walking around with those blindingly white, perfectly straight veneers like they just stepped out of a Beverly Hills clinic. It looks fake. It looks plastic. It’s uncanny valley territory, and frankly, it’s exhausting to look at. Real people have teeth. Real people have character. You see these influencers and tech bros in San Francisco or NYC strutting around with smiles that look like they were 3D-printed in a lab, and it just screams insecurity. It’s all about that manufactured perfection, and it’s killing any sense of actual personality. Give me some grit. Give me something human. This obsession with looking like a CGI character is getting out of hand.🤣🤣

😠- the absolute worst emoji ever made. Looks like someone gave Dalí some heavy drugs and he sketched this hideous freak

🙄 - the old one was way better. It actually looked like you were quoting a post, but this one is just trash

👍 and 👎 - I swear, if there's anything I hate more than these two idiots, it's these pathetic emojis

😳 - not even gonna waste my breath on this clown. What is this even supposed to represent? What did we even have before this crap?

😛 - and look at this degenerate letter-licker. Does anyone actually use this moron?

🙂- What am I even supposed to do with this?

Either put the tooth back on the first page of the menu or just shorten the code. I'm too tired to keep typing, and there's plenty of room. Just swap out this 😳 degenerate with the tooth

🤣

Just give us the facepalm🙂

The internet hasn't existed since 2007, for god's sake.😁 All the old ones are five times better than these modern versions of the same crap.😁 But whatever, people's tastes are subjective, so everyone can cheer for their own junk...

Facepalm... as far as I'm concerned, go for it.🙂

If you're under 24, it's a zero tolerance policy—0.00%. Once you hit 24, the limit is 0.08%.

Robert Morgan6, look, don't get all worked up on me, but you're acting like a total teenager instead of a grown man🙂
You come out here asking for advice, two different people step up to help you out, and instead of actually listening, you decide to pick a fight with the only two people who were even trying to help you. What a joke.

Honestly, I don't give a damn if you want to drive around without a license, and I don't care if you end up in front of a judge trying to convince some lady in a black robe that you "didn't know" or that the cop didn't tell you—screw it. Hell, I don't even care if you go buy a Glock and try to take out that officer on the road tomorrow; it's your life, your call. But I am telling you right now, and I'm saying this with total confidence: what I wrote earlier is the best possible move for you. Anything else is just going to turn into a massive financial disaster that's entirely your own fault. Either pay the fine right now, show up to court, or just admit you messed up and say you won't do it again. Everything else is just plain stupid, IMO.

And since I'm not about to waste my breath on this pointless arguing, I'm out. I'm washing my hands of this whole mess...

guys, please bring back Olokvij so boldhound8 can finally get back to college! 😠 😍

Yeah, exactly.
Everything gets censored constantly; at this rate, they're going to kick us off this (totally undemocratic) forum altogether. 😢 If only 😁

But honestly, blocking specific words is just stupid—you have moderators, supermods, admins, and a button to report ( 🤣 ) an unpleasant post. People can just hit that button and flag anyone spamming portal links and stuff; that’s more than enough to fight advertising.
Censoring things like this just limits free speech and expression. In short, it makes no sense and does way more harm than good.

On top of that, you guys are constantly bombarding us (and I'm not talking about ad-blocker extensions, I'm talking about the principle here) with these pop-up ads that dance right in front of our eyes, blocking our view of what might actually be a quality post or thread. This is bad, really bad... 👎

Stop messing around😁
I was on a 12/12 winning streak (if you don't count that 2 in Calculus, which honestly I don't either😁), but ever since ******** showed up, I'm sitting at 0/3😠
It's all connected, 100%, I swear😢

Let's just let them pass👋

Robert Morgan6 said:Hi everyone... so, here’s the situation. I got pulled over by the police this past Saturday (it was two officers and one older guy). They asked if I'd had anything to drink in the last few hours. Well, yeah—I had two small beers around 11:30 PM, but they didn't pull me over until 5:00 AM that morning. Then came the question: "Are you willing to take a breathalyzer?" I said yes, and I guess I blew a 0.06% BAC (which, if you subtract the legal tolerance of 0.02%, leaves me at 0.04%).
I didn't commit any other infractions, but the officer told me that this level was enough to trigger a 12-hour license suspension. I just said, "Okay, you're doing your job," and let him proceed. He wrote up a report—which I didn't sign—took my driver's license, and wished me a good night. I went back to my car, figuring I should probably head home too. About half an hour later, I called a colleague who works in law enforcement, and she told me that the officer had come into the station and added extra notes claiming I was being "arrogant"—which I really wasn't—and that I was driving "under the influence." He never actually explicitly told me I wasn't allowed to drive (I mean, I assume if they take your license, you can't drive, but he should have been clear about it). Plus, the car was running perfectly fine on the road, the right blinker was working, there was someone else in the car with me... This is my very first alcohol-related offense. I just had those two small beers the night before, I'd been at some weddings, and I ate some heavy stew... I honestly don't know where that 0.06% came from...
So, I've had my license since July 2004, and this incident happened this past Sunday, May 17, 2009. I was born on July 7, 1986. So, I clearly don't fall under those "Underage Driver" laws where you can't drive high-performance cars or need an adult supervisor after 11:00 PM, but I'm not entirely sure which category I fall into regarding alcohol limits...

I called the police department in Washington, D.C., and the person I spoke to mentioned that the officer shouldn't have been able to seize my license for that specific amount, and that since I'm not an "underage" driver, the standard legal tolerance for all drivers goes up to 0.10% BAC...

I'm really looking for some help or advice from anyone who understands how these laws work. Thank you so much.

How's it going?😁
Look, if you’re under 24, you’re basically stuck with nothing more than a 0.00% rate and a 75 KW limit. And that stuff after 11 PM? I think they wiped that out in the latest round of legislative changes. It's absolute garbage. Honestly, that was my reality too—I used to be in that "young person" bracket, then I aged out of those perks after two years, only to find myself back in the "youth" category again thanks to these new rules. What a joke.🙄😁

So he pulls you over, blows some smoke in your face—nothing fancy, just being a jerk—but whatever, he did it. He revokes your license right then and there, and then what? You’re supposed to just drive off without it? Like, he literally told you that you don't have a license anymore, and then expects you to just roll away? Are you kidding me?😁 You really think you can just walk away from this? Look, buddy, take my advice: just pay up right now. You aren't gonna have a good time once the cops finish tearing you apart—especially when they’re 100% in the right. I can't stand those guys, but they're right on this one.😁

I’ve been thinking about that whole offside thing for a few days now since I first noticed that absolute disaster😁

Look, if you want to block certain shady terms used for ads or referral links, fine, that actually makes sense. But trying to block a word that people use constantly in regular conversation? That’s just counterproductive. Honestly, it's way less damaging than leaving the word alone, because the total circus that breaks out when the moderators start acting like little tyrants is much worse🙂 Especially on subforums where the word "********" is everywhere—like on the Soccer word subforum where everyone keeps saying "referee"😁

And seriously, ever since those clowns hid that crap with asterisks, not a single decent post has made it through. It used to be a straight line of quality content🙂
Cybersecurity - Suggestion for a new subforum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Honestly, I think we need to scale back the number of IT subforums instead of cranking them up even more. We’ve already blown way past any reasonable limit. Look, I get it—tech is huge right now, and IT has like a million different niches and sub-niches, but trying to gain "clarity" by opening a brand-new subforum for every tiny little thing is just counterproductive. It’s actually making things worse.

Just picture this: what if we split Politics into twenty different subforums? Or even something like Lifestyle? Sure, you could probably find enough content to fill twenty separate sections, but do you really think splitting it up like that would actually lead to anything intelligent being said?
How to increase posts per page? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
25 was the number, just to back up that claim😉 This guy has imati 40000+ posts, take my word for it😁

But whatever, I always stick with the default settings. Honestly, I’ve been doing this for five years, so those 25 became second nature to me, but I'll get used to it fast enough. The one thing that absolutely pisses me off is how when the forum actually starts running fast, it doesn't load the whole damn page—it just loads maybe 30 posts, and then I'm scrolling and scrolling until I hit a "wall," and then nothing happens until I refresh the whole thing😠 Screw your servers😍

Honestly, if it were up to me, I’d rename the Governor section to just "Governor," but messages complaints comments, just so it doesn't sound too fancy, you know? People need to actually realize they can vent their frustrations here too. 😁

Having both the Governor board and a separate Complaints board was totally useless. The Governor board lost its whole purpose because it turned into a massive complaint subforum almost instantly—you’d scroll through 3, 5, or even 10 pages of nothing but people whining. It was basically two identical complaint boards sitting side-by-side: Governor and ZIP. Now we just have one single spot for it, and that's that.

Adam Wilson said:I’m seeing a ton of conflicting info online, but I wanted to ask if anyone actually knows what the fine is for speeding in a 30-31 miles mph zone?

Yeah, because I'm sure the Department of Homeland Security website has four different versions of the truth.😁 If you're gonna make us Google stuff for you, at least don't drive us crazy while we're doing it.🙂 Anyway:
Section 53.

(1) On a residential street, a driver cannot exceed 31 miles mph, or go faster than whatever the posted speed limit sign says for that area or section.
(2) As an exception to Section 1, on streets where the infrastructure allows it (like having pedestrian underpasses, extra turn lanes, or signalized intersections), signs can permit speeds higher than 31 miles mph, up to a maximum of 50 miles mph.
(3) A driver caught going more than 31 miles mph over the limit or the posted speed in a residential area will face a fine between $5,000.00 and $5000 or up to 60 days in jail.
(4) A fine of $667 applies to drivers exceeding the limit or posted speed by more than 30 to 31 miles mph.
(5) A fine of $333 applies to drivers exceeding the limit or posted speed by more than 20 to 19 miles mph.
(6) A fine of $167 applies to drivers exceeding the limit or posted speed by more than 10 to 12 miles mph.
(7) A fine of $100 applies to drivers exceeding the limit or posted speed by up to 6.2 miles mph.

Morgan Rodriguez57 said:I’ve honestly always gotten along great with all the mods—never really had any friction with them, except for that one weird situation involving MEP... 🙂

So yeah, just a little testament to my smooth sailing with the higher-ups... 😉 😁

But look, just look at the hypocrisy... You're out here handing out punishments to people in places like Ohio for crappy headlines or missing punctuation, yet a few years back, you were busy lecturing some poor professor just to get a ban. You were being incredibly cocky, spamming the exact same post over and over again—which, by the way, was getting wiped by a moderator at the time for reasons I can't even be bothered to remember now. But let me tell you something: I am 99.99% sure that wasn't because they hated you or anything like that. There was a damn good reason for it, okay? 🙂

Anyway... Off topic, but there's no such thing as the "best" or "worst" moderator. It’s just tiers. You've got the group that absolutely nails their job, then the group that does a pretty decent job, and so on, all the way down to the bottom tier—the group that doesn't do a single thing. 😁 But hey, good for them, right? They get all the perks and zero responsibilities. 🙂

Also, quick question. About six months ago, I got caught speeding again ($0.37 + $37). Didn't fight it or anything. Now I just got an enforcement notice from the IRS saying I have 8 days to pay up. What happens if I miss that 8-day window? To make things worse, the notice says they sent a copy to my employer to cover it if I don't pay—but I haven't even worked for that guy for over a year. Looking for some advice. I plan to pay, but I can't swing it for another month or two. I already dropped $37 on court fees...

Mine showed up a few days ago, and honestly, I had zero clue what was going on until they explained it to me.😁
Basically, the statute of limitations on that is 10 years, and you don't have any right to appeal it. Within that 8-day window, you better try to talk to them and work out a payment plan or something similar. Ignoring it is a total waste of time because they're going to grab that money from you one way or another...

James Chavez91 said:Just think about it... those threads were basically a lifeline for every lonely heart out there.

Look, trust me on this, the best thing I ever did was just walk away from that site.😁
Props to the crew running things, but man, when it's just one thread or one subforum where everyone is posting these incredibly depressing—yet totally real—stories, it just forces you into this loop of constant whining and self-pity. And honestly? That is the absolute last thing you need when you're already going through it.🙂

As for the USA forum specifically, I shouldn't really be weighing in. I've got a few posts over there, but I’m hardly an expert. Still, IMO, back when I was active and that thing was hitting double-digit pages, it basically devolved into a giant chat room. Then again, it's hard to tell where off-topic ends and a chat starts on forums like the USA. On my own niche boards or elsewhere on the web, it’s way easier to spot the fluff because everything stays focused on technical stuff. But on the USA, it’s all feelings, emotions, and venting about life, which just turns the whole thing into a mess of spam and endless chatter.

So, I'm not trying to play judge and jury on whether what they did was right or wrong, I'm just throwing my two cents in since I stumbled across the thread...
