$10,000? Give me at least $20,000! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
slywolf45 said:10,000? Wait... how many zeros was that again? Good grief, that’s quite the massive number right there.😲😁

But hey, even if it hits 2,000,000, I wouldn't be complaining.🙂

Veeeeeelik😁
Look, I don't care if someone hits their limit once or a hundred times. It doesn't matter how often it happens. The only thing that actually matters is whether there's an opening for someone to exploit the system. Whether we're talking about 10,000, 20,000, or 50,000—it’s all the same. As far as I can tell, even at a massive company like ExxonMobil, the actual database stuff isn't even a big deal here, especially since this kind of thing probably only pops up once a month anyway.

So, like, why the hell not? Let’s just get this show on the road and start writing.🙂

The text that you have entered is too long (10118 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long.

What is even the point of this? Give me one single decent reason why posts are capped at 10k characters. I can easily write more than 10,000, and getting hit with an error message like that completely kills my momentum. Now I have to go back and delete over a hundred characters just to split everything into multiple posts, which is nothing but a massive pain in the ass.😠

Just bump it up to 20,000 already and stop messing with me.😉

You’re gonna get it fast... a buddy of mine was dealing with the exact same thing just a few days ago.😉 They totally fast-tracked the whole procedure once those new laws and amendments kicked in. Honestly, it’s better for you if you just get it over with ASAP, before the statute of limitations runs out.😁

They won't even take it from you, man.😁
Instead, they’re just gonna let you keep it, but they'll slap a massive ban right on there in the notes section saying you're prohibited from driving until some far-off date...

Use your head, btw😉

ironstag13 said:About a month and a half ago, I was pulled over by the police after being caught driving with a blood alcohol content of 1.82 percent... I complied with everything they asked of me, pulled the car over, and went with them to the station where I was held until I sobered up. Everything was handled without a single word of protest from my side; in fact, the entire interaction was incredibly civil and respectful on both ends.
However, while reviewing the official report later on, I noticed a note stating that I refused a blood and urine test.
The thing is, I wasn't even offered such a test because I had already admitted to everything, so I am wondering: does that specific notation carry any legal weight? If it does, should I be seeking a confrontation with the officers involved? Or if it doesn't matter, what kind of outcome should I anticipate from the court regarding fines and license suspension... and is there a specific way I should approach my defense? To make matters worse, I am currently feeling quite ill, so I wonder if skipping a court date would be wise—though I assume statutes of limitations aren't that short...
I should mention that this is my very first offense in twenty-five years of driving, so I am curious if that clean record will have any impact on the severity of the penalty. Best regards, and thank you!

I don't get why they're asking for blood or urine if the breathalyzer already gave a reading—maybe just to check for drugs? But look, if the report says you refused, then you basically refused to face them too. You're screwed if the cop sticks to his story. The judge is gonna believe him, plain and simple.

As for the penalties, it's all laid out in the law. Things have changed lately so I don't want to give you bad info, and I'm too lazy to Google it, so just go check it yourself.

Don't count on the statute of limitations; under the new laws, the limit is 4 years, so you've got about 46 and a half months to worry about.🤣 You don't necessarily have to show up to court; you can just call it in and say you're sick. Get a doctor's note as proof, though they usually don't even ask for it if it's your first time...

analogmaker14 said:That might be the only situation where such a move wouldn't fly, given the current state of the club in Miami ahead of a derby. In any other city, it would certainly work, though I'm not convinced it's the best idea anyway.

You are being incredibly naive if you actually believe that😉 We didn't even manage to pull off a full boycott against Indianapolis when things were looking grim at the club. After that, there were a few more attempts and a ton of other ideas that just fizzled out or died in the planning stages because we realized it's better to not attempt a boycott at all than to stage one that turns into a total fiasco... Mainly, the last boycott—where everyone walked out of the stadium at the 60-minute mark—was against Iowa, and even that wasn't 100% successful. It’s stupid for me to talk about how "successful" an action was when only 300 people walk out, while 10-15% of those people stay in the North stands, plus even more from those 300 spread out across the other two sections. And most importantly... the message sent was worth absolutely zero points. The local news mentioned a group of fans left at X minute, and that was it...

But whatever, it doesn't matter... I'm dreaming too big trying to steer this conversation toward ideas that can actually be executed, since this is just one forum. A forum where types like Kimberly Alvarez7 run the show, a forum where 99% of the members won't show up tomorrow to help the Fan Club, the Association, or whatever else to make real, actionable ideas happen—actions that actually make noise or get noticed... No, most of you would rather sit here playing "hardcore fan" by typing out sci-fi bullshit, no offense intended, and of course, hats off to the exceptions this post isn't aimed at😉

Sorry for going off-topic, cheers🙂

I'm not "tripping" about anything, the whole point is everyone's talking about a boycott...
And what you're bringing up now is just an even bigger load of crap than the boycott itself. Use your head, for God's sake—talk about actually executing some kind of plan instead of just typing out what should happen.

I think you guys are talking absolute nonsense.🙂 Look, I get it, we all want the same thing, but let's stop wasting our breath on SF bullshit because honestly, spinning our wheels on that crap is a total waste of time. We should be talking about what actually works.

First off, let’s get real: no single group can pull off filling an empty stadium by itself during some random mid-week game against Indianapolis... Actually, forget just the stadium, forget even just one section, dammit...

And you people really think boycotting El Clásico would work? A match where 60,000 people would show up if Dodger Stadium could actually hold 60,000? Jebiga, even if the entire Ultras crew and every single local chapter stayed home, the stands would still be packed. Hell, people might even thank us for staying away because there’d be a few thousand extra tickets left over... Would there be cheering? Real atmosphere? No. But there’d be some half-assed noise and everyone would act like everything is fine... The wolves get fed while the sheep just get counted.😉

What would we actually achieve? Absolutely nothing.
What kind of message would it send? Zero.
Basically, when you actually stop and think about it, you'd probably just end up causing a massive backfire...

Anonymous said:You really need to see the difference between the 2003 law and the one coming down the pipeline soon... there's a massive gap. This new law carries a ton of weight, and honestly, most fans—yourself included, unfortunately—don't seem to realize how much power it actually holds.

Anonymous said:Of course they aren't going to wipe us out completely, but here’s the kicker: they've basically handed the cops a free pass to arrest people for pretty much anything. And more importantly, looking at how dirty they're playing this, it’s obvious this is a final showdown. What else do you need to see? This is the third time they've tightened the screws in just five years. You don't see any other country in the world where a law gets drastically toughened three times within a single five-year span...

If you know the history, you know that under the original 2003 law, you could be banned, but you didn't necessarily have to report in. I know guys who had bans back then and they went through them without any major drama.

Then 2006 rolled around, and suddenly they started requiring people to check in—mostly "preventative measures" where people get banned without even seeing a judge. Basically, they made some minor tweaks and used them to make life miserable for fans. Now, the restrictions are even harsher. They realized they liked harassing people, and now they have the legal backing to target anyone who ever stepped up to them and carry out pure retaliation. You light up twenty flares, and instead of even trying to prove who lit them, they'll just grab random people from the core of the crowd and charge them with nonsense like wearing masks or shouting "offensive" chants... I don't even want to get into the specifics of how shady it gets...

Look, 2003 was rough, sure, but honestly? There’s barely any difference between then and how things look right now in 2006. I highly doubt they're going to wipe us off the face of the earth just like that, but let's be real—we are in deep trouble. We were in a bad spot back in 2003, and since then, everything has just gone downhill from there. And yeah, fine, it's our own damn fault too. The cops have become five times smarter, way better equipped, and ten times more powerful, while we? Most of us are still stuck using that same old "run headfirst into a brick wall" strategy. Total amateur hour.

Look, let’s talk about this absolute circus with the flares and the arrests. It’s getting ridiculous. You’ve got the cops out there acting like they’re in some high-stakes action movie, hauling people off just because things got a little loud and bright in the stands. Honestly? It’s a joke. The whole situation with the lighting up of flares and then immediately seeing everyone get detained is just nonsense. We’re talking about fans who live for the atmosphere, and now we have these overzealous authorities trying to shut down the energy. They want to crack down on everything under the guise of "safety," but it feels more like they're just looking for any excuse to flex their muscles. It's frustrating as hell. You go to the game to support your team, feel that rush, see the smoke, and suddenly you're being treated like a criminal. Total overkill. It’s pathetic, really. I don't even know where to start with this absolute mess. It’s just one thing after another, isn't it? Everything is falling apart and nobody seems to give a damn. Just pure, unadulterated chaos. Total disaster. It’s the exact same bullshit even today, unfortunately. I still have nightmares about the Rose Bowl and how the cops would line up right at the exit just to beat you for no reason and pull you aside for no damn reason... Luckily, I never got singled out back then, but I know people who did on other occasions. Jebiga, I don't exactly have nine lives like a cat.🙂
Look, man, they’ve been pulling this crap for ages and getting away with it every single time. I know exactly how this looks from the inside—I’ve seen the whole damn thing play out firsthand. I might be exaggerating just a little bit here, but it basically goes down like this...
So they’re hauling him off after the game, and for what? Seriously? You're claiming I tossed a flare? I didn't touch a damn thing! You're the one who threw it, man!
You walk into the station, tell them exactly what you’ve got on you, and guess what? Nobody asks for proof, nobody investigates—they just lock you up overnight waiting for a court date. Then you show up to court the next morning and it’s the same old song and dance. It’s your word against theirs. Pandur says you’re a straight shooter, you say they’re lying through their teeth, and there isn't a shred of evidence either way. But does that stop them from convicting you? Hell no. You get slapped with a year sentence, and then you try to appeal because you actually think you can change something. Big mistake. That's when that ridiculous legal loophole kicks in: since the verdict isn't "final" yet, the ban doesn't technically apply, but if you dare to appeal, they just hit you with "precautionary measures"—which is just the same crap in a different package. Then, after eleven months of hell, you finally get a letter from the Viking office in Washington, D.C., confirming you're guilty. That's when it hits you: you weren't banned for a year; you were effectively banned for twenty-three months. Absolute genius, right? Jebiga.🙂

I already commented on this half an hour ago... honestly, I doubt this will do anything good, but then again, we've dealt with plenty of this garbage before. So, I don't think this change is a total disaster—let's be real, it's not exactly great either... Basically, I have no clue what smart thing I could even say about all this bullshit anymore.

Anonymous said:I’ve been digging deep into this sports fan law, and honestly, it’s an absolute disaster. If this passes, it’s the death knell for fans—everyone from the old-school legends who paved the way to those of us active now, and even the kids just getting into the game. This law is going to cost us all dearly, in our own ways. Even if we don't disappear overnight, the constant stream of bans will slowly bleed us dry. And the worst part? Those provisions targeting schools mean we won't even be able to attract the next generation. We'll see small groups vanish first, then the big ones. Just look at the situation with the local hardcore supporters; they're already feeling the squeeze, and that’s before this law even hits the books. Someone higher up claimed we’d be gone in ten years, but they're being way too optimistic. We’ll likely be wiped out within a year of this going live because the current crowd will get crushed by legalities, and no new blood will step up to fill the void. This is the make-or-break moment. We have to show the public—the average Americans—what’s actually happening here. It needs to be something massive, like a huge grassroots movement or a petition against a major corporate takeover. We can't do this alone; we need allies, sympathizers, and regular people to stand with us. Everyone needs to get involved. We need to hit the news stations, go on TV and radio to explain the reality, hand out flyers, put up posters, and organize rallies—but they have to be peaceful, without a single incident. We need lawyers who actually speak "fan language" to represent us, we need to get statements out to the press, and we need a dedicated website. We could take it step by step, but I think the most eye-catching move for the public would be a total boycott. That’s what would really grab the attention of ordinary people and other fans. Imagine the opening weekend—two of the biggest rivalry games of the season. Now, imagine if not a single organized supporter showed up for the first round. You’d have maybe 2,000 people scattered through the whole stadium. Then, for the second round, fans only show up for the second half. By the third round, people just watch the first half in silence and walk out during the second. But—and this is key—we do it without any chaos. No clashes between rival factions like those recent brawls you see in urban arenas, no flares in the stands, no obnoxious behavior. None of that. Because no single group can survive this on their own. We have to unite and defeat the forces trying to destroy us, which, right now, are much stronger than we are.

I wouldn't exactly agree with that... that law has been on the books forever, since 2003 if I'm not mistaken—correct me if I'm wrong, my memory for dates is pretty shaky😁 If we haven't been wiped out by now, we aren't going anywhere in the next year either.😉 The main thing is we don't crash too hard so we don't lose an entire generation in the stands or an entire local chapter back home.😁

And new people come... don't sweat it. Some people are truly impossible to replace, and yeah, when someone from, let's call it the "inner circle," drops out, the loss is huge. But after 20, 30, 40, or 100 days, things level out. Someone else steps up a bit more, someone new rolls up their sleeves, a third person shows up... the Crips have lost members before (I won't get into numbers so I don't mess up some hundred or whatever, I'm bad with that crap😁), but I don't feel like the group is weaker. On the contrary, I feel like we're constantly moving forward.

But is it time for some kind of action, education, and stuff? Yeah... though I think it's primarily time to stop acting like idiots. I've already written about other topics, I don't have the energy to redo everything right now, so I'll keep it brief... I'm not saying fan groups should stop their activities and "duties," but we need to pipe down when it comes to unnecessary nonsense, the chaos, and those stunts where we make ourselves look like clowns and basically help the police and the government. And worst of all... we're proving to everyone else that what the cops and the authorities tell them about us is actually true.😉 I don't think I need to list which actions I mean; we all know where the line is and we can feel when we've crossed it...

Because this "fight" would be a hell of a lot easier if the government and the cops weren't involved. I'd even dare say we'd have 70% of the public on our side in the "clash against the hooligans who prevent families from going to the stadiums."😉

Anonymous said:Not really. Before, if they suspected you were drunk, they might detain you, but most people would just get released after the game. Now, you're looking at a fine or even a ban. They've got everything they need backed by the Sports Fan Act. 😉

Honestly, I don't know a single person who shows up to a game with a BAC under 0.5, especially for away games. That’s basically just two beers. In fact, I don't know anyone who'd be under 0.5 on any given day after 5 PM... 😁

Their initial proposal was a 1.1 limit. We could actually have a conversation about that. Our counter-proposal was to set it at 1.5, or 1.1 for high-risk matches...
That’s a perfectly reasonable suggestion, along with everything else we've put forward. I mean, why should someone get wrecked just because they had a few drinks before a Real Madrid vs. Slaven Belupo match?

The problem is, this proposal—and several others—are clearly designed to crush us. Take the masking laws, for example. There’ll be some flare display at a small local game, and since they won't be able to prove exactly who lit the flare, they'll just pick five guys who happened to be wearing their scarves a bit high or had their hoodies up while standing in the middle of the crowd and haul them in.

Our suggestion was that masking should only be a punishable offense if it's done in conjunction with another crime. Basically, you have to prove someone masked up *to commit* an offense, rather than punishing people just for dressing a certain way that day. And let's be real, you know exactly how those bastards are going to play it.

Yeah, but look, they could've screwed me over with a 0.1, 0.2, or 0.3 before, but at least now there’s some kind of limit. It’s a stupid limit, though—way too low to actually mean anything in the real world...

So I can't exactly call this a step forward (man, I wasn't expecting any progress from these guys when they were rewriting the laws in the first place), but damn it, I can't say it's a step backward either. At least not from my perspective as a fan who ended up in a police station three different times, even though all three times I was under 0.5. And forget 0.5—all three times my levels were actually under 0.3.😉

Charles Taylor said:Hey everyone! I need some serious advice here. Back in January (it was a beautiful sunny day, around 11 AM) of 2008, I got pulled over by a cop. Everything seemed perfectly fine—I hadn't been drinking and I was driving right at the speed limit—but I realized my headlights weren't on. The officer took my driver's license and registration and walked back to his cruiser. He returned five minutes later with a ticket ($100) already printed out and shoved the paper toward me, demanding a signature. I refused to sign, and the very next day, I filed an appeal with the local municipal court in my city since I had absolutely no prior offenses on my record... which is exactly what I cited in my appeal (on the advice of a friend who told me I had nothing to lose, so why not try?).
Summer rolled around quickly, and then, quite absurdly, the law regarding mandatory headlights was actually repealed... it felt ridiculous. I figured, hey, there's no way they can uphold the appeal now. However, before long, the mandatory headlight law was reinstated (I think around October), and then one day in December, I received the ruling: my appeal was denied, the fine must be paid, and I no longer have the right to appeal this decision.
My question is: Is it even worth fighting this further (again, following a friend's suggestion to take it to a higher court in Washington, D.C.), or should I just bite the bullet and pay the fine? To me, this feels like a matter of principle rather than the actual dollar amount. Is there such a thing as a "first offense" rule where a driver just gets a formal warning recorded without being slapped with a monetary fine? Or does this country simply have zero tolerance for us little guys? Do I have any chance of waiting out the statute of limitations, or am I more likely to just make things worse and end up paying significantly more in the long run?
Maybe I'm drifting a bit from the main topic, but if anyone out there can shed some light on this, I would be incredibly grateful!!! Thanks in advance!

The law was never repealed and then passed again; it was always set up so it doesn't apply during Daylight Saving Time. And I don't know how you managed to see that as some kind of personal victory.😁

Also, your friend gave you terrible advice... because sending an appeal stating "I've never been caught before" means absolutely nothing to them. You would have been better off being chill with the cop and saying in your appeal that your lights were on, but maybe you didn't turn the dial all the way, or they flickered, or they burned out, or...
Honestly, it's all bullshit, because judges laugh 99% of the time when they see stuff like that, but whatever, it's still better than saying you're appealing just because you have a clean record.😉

My advice moving forward is to just pay it... the court in Washington, D.C. is 99% going to deny you again, and you'll just end up with extra costs on top of that $100 (I bet you already owe extra from the court fees), and the statute of limitations isn't coming to save you because under the new laws that's 4 years, so you're looking at January 2012...

And yeah, I agree, the whole thing is stupid... but that's cold comfort when you're coughing up $300, $400, $167....
