Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Amanda Morgan said:Does anyone know a solid dentist in NYC who won't absolutely fleece you?
A traveler needs an appointment by July 5th or 6th at the absolute latest.
They ended up with a massive blood clot.
Thanks!

Look, I don't want to get this wrong—Lord knows I’ve made enough mistakes—but about a month ago, right near the Capitol Center, some guy collapsed. They were on him before you could even blink—literally, within seconds—and they spent a good thirty minutes, maybe longer, fighting to bring him back. Sadly, he didn't make it, but we spent days talking about how those medics were absolute legends for trying everything they could.

I mean, come on, stuff happens.div>
I had a total blast! 😲

So they get me checked in, I sit down—well, actually, I fall and sprain my ankle right then and there—and we just sit there waiting for like an hour. It was a circus, honestly, and absolutely nothing was moving. When they call names, they basically just crack the door open, stay seated at their desks, and zone out. You can’t hear a thing in the waiting room, and if you actually want to sit down, you have to grab a seat way in the back because there’s zero space near the front.

Finally, I limp in on my good leg, hopping along, and the nurse asks me, "What brings you in?" I just say, "My leg," and gesture toward it with my head. She looks at me and goes, "Which one?"

I mean, obviously the one I'm currently hobbling on.

She gives me this look, the doctor dictates to her that it's swollen and tender to the touch (which, let me tell you, it definitely 🙄 ) and writes down "sprained right leg." 😲 .

Then I spent another hour waiting for X-rays before they finally took the pictures, and *another* hour sitting outside again. In the end, lucky me, it was just a torn ligament, but it makes me wonder how people with actual serious injuries cope with this mess.

It reminds me of a few years ago when I sliced my fingers pretty bad and had to get stitches. I was using paper towels to try and stop the bleeding, and the nurse just ripped those papers right off my hand, dumped alcohol on a piece of gauze, and scrubbed my fingers like crazy 😱—I'm talking an open wound, raw meat, stuff like that. And they stitched me up completely wide awake. 😱

God, they're just wonderful. 😍

Not. 🙄
Morgan Williams4 said:That Walmart fresh cheese? It’s basically made from cows standing knee-deep in sludge, producing milk so nasty you could grow flies on it—except they pump it full of all sorts of preservatives like E330 and God knows what else just to trick you into thinking it's "fresh." If you ask me, I'd rather eat organic manure than some lab-grown poison. Nobody ever caught cancer from eating stuff straight from a farm, but these artificial additives? They're killing people everywhere!

And don't even get me started on the tomatoes you see in big-box grocery stores. They treat those things with every chemical under the sun. Look, if you actually grew something naturally, there's no way every single tomato would look like a plastic model—they wouldn't all be identical clones. Same goes for apples. An apple isn't truly good unless there's a worm in it. Because trust me, a worm isn't going to touch fruit that's soaked in toxins!!! So, you guys decide: do you want the real deal with a few bugs, or those "perfect" apples grown in some sterile, chemically-controlled lab environment?!!!

Seriously, for the third year running, they’re just rolling out the raids with those silver pills 👍 🙏

Brenda Lewis43 said:Look, cotton swabs are meant for short-term use... I swap mine out every single week. The idea of using the same pair for three or four weeks is just unthinkable to me—it seems incredibly unhygienic. 🙂
Plus, the price is actually pretty reasonable, I think, if you're buying them $1.75 weekly...
As for the face mask—I woke up with it on my head for the first time this morning! 👋

And where do you even put the elastic? In your hair? Personally, I just tuck mine under my hair so it doesn't budge no matter what.

Ladies, I am seriously getting the best sleep of my life with this mask. It’s an absolute game changer! 🙏 👍

George Brown7 said:I spotted some masks over at Walmart for about $5.25, but I don't know, they seemed a bit oversized to me; then again, a friend of mine uses this one from Cosmo and swears it’s incredibly soft and comfortable...

Wait, what are they even doing at Walmart?

silentdriver5 said:Walter Smith8, how much are they charging for masks over at Samsonite?

The one I saw at Cosmo feels just a little bit budget...

Ugh, I bought one of those ages ago—honestly, I have no clue. I don't even know where that package ended up anymore 🤔. Pretty sure it was just some synthetic fiber stuff too.

I actually slept with one of those Cosmo masks last night, and hey, it wasn't half bad 😎.

This one doesn't even have an official label, and the material inside feels almost like cotton. The only weird thing is where the strap meets the mask—it's a bit thick on one side, so it pinches a little.

So I swung by Cosmo in Downtown today—they actually had their grand opening right now—and popped inside. Ended up seeing some masks and grabbed two, just so I’ve a spare while the other one is in the wash.

The label on our local packaging says "cotton mask," but once I cracked it open, the tag clearly states 100% polyester. 👎 Seriously? I mean, I'll give it a shot, but I really hope this doesn't wreck my skin. 😕

I'm already drafting an email to the Better Business Bureau and the consumer protection agency. 😛

been going for a while? I just started—finishing up my first ten sessions.
I'm happy with it, I guess. Now I probably have to take a break, then do that follow-up checkup, and then maybe start again.
We might have even crossed paths there without realizing it. 😬

Nah, I've only had three sessions so far. And honestly, I don't recall seeing anyone really young around there.🙂 .

But hey, maybe our paths will cross down the road.😉

@jadesailor14, Krunoslav Reljanović. People have already mentioned him on here before.😍

You need his info?😉

Look, I’m dropping cash $50 per session, but don't get it twisted—I'm not doing this to lose weight. And honestly? It’s totally worth every penny! 👍 🙏
Chronic, persistent cough: any advice? in Health ·
Ugh, I’ve got one of those types living under my roof right now—thank God they aren't coughing yet. But man, they smoke like a chimney and still refuse to see a doctor.

I don't really have any sage advice for you, honestly... I just totally get it.🙂

And look, if they're driving you nuts? Just kick them out. If you actually care about them, fine. If not, just tune them out.😘

But there's something else that's been bothering me... whenever my nails grow out a little bit, they start curling downwards—almost like claws—specifically on my index, middle, and thumbs. My ring and pinky fingers stay perfectly normal, though... 😕What could be causing that?

Honestly, I have no clue what it is, but the same thing used to happen to me—now they don't even grow long enough to curve before they just peel or crack entirely. 😲

Wait, sorry—if Ginkgo actually did the trick, why on earth are you even looking for something else? 😕

(well, it didn't exactly cure my laziness 🤣 can't really complain though, since I'm dealing with the exact same crap 🤣 😉 )
