Well, almost... feels like they filmed nearly everything against a green screen anyway..:-)

Adam Wright56 said:Look, I think this movie is great, but not in the way classics like "Murder on the Orient Express," "Star Wars," "Dr. Strangelove," "The Godfather," or "Metropolis" are great.
It works because it's essentially bad, but not "bad" in the way movies like "Alucard," "The Matrix Revolutions," or "King Arthur" are bad.
No, wait... what I mean is that it's actually a good thing the director wasn't better. If a top-tier director had handled this, we’d probably be stuck with some pretentious garbage, an exhausting slog, or a soulless Disney flick for kids.
Instead, we have a movie you can actually laugh at—something you watch with friends and enjoy without feeling like you're being treated like an idiot. 😉
I'm not talking about the director as a person, just the direction itself. Whoever directed this, they hit the sweet spot.
Karen Diaz32 said:Yikes. Apparently, you can't even mention Spielberg without getting canceled, let alone say anything bad about the author. 😁
I'm out of here!

Karen Diaz32 said:Honestly, that movie is basically the definition of style. He directed it with such ease you'd never guess it was his debut. It just needs a bit more work on the script.

Richard Howard2 said:I mean, they’re already ripping us off with $10 ticket prices—sometimes up to $12—just so we can sit through 15 minutes of commercials for AT&T or FOX before the movie even starts. Look, I get the basic rule: if you aren't paying, you're watching ads, which is how FOX operates. But forcing ads onto something I actually paid a premium for? That's a whole different level of shady.

Last year, when they started (or was it the year before?), it was actually cool because they had Sokurov, but now they’re clearly biting off more than they can chew.
It’s not easy to find a mountain of actual one-take films... we barely have enough for one... so in a year or two, we'll basically be living in Soderbergh's Schizopolis (doesn't matter that it isn't a single shot, it's still a great movie!) 😁
I get that it's nice to see what people can pull off in a single shot... but calling itself the OneTakeFF... that's... well, if nothing else, it's certainly bold. 😍
They even have TheRope by Alfred Hitchcock, so I wouldn't be surprised if they added a section for retrospective one-take classics...😍
In the meantime, we'll probably just turn into Colombia. smh 😁
Carol Jackson45 said:That song from the Rave, "Dreams are my reality," is by some guy named Richard Sanderson (who even is that?), and Cook da Books sing a track from Rave 2 called "Your eyes." I actually have both at home, even if they're incredibly cheesy.😁

Sophia Evans76 said:I caught what was easily the most unique film at this year's film festival yesterday.
It was Innocence by Lucille Hadzihalilovic. The guy introducing her spent a few minutes struggling just to pronounce her last name before finally giving up... 😁
By the way, Lucille is Gaspar Noé’s partner and collaborator... 😁
I don't think I've ever seen so many single middle-aged men in one room... without judging, I figured they were all just world cinema buffs and NFT members 😁 sitting next to me was this massive, sweaty, balding guy in a suit... he was wheezing, sweating through his shirt, sighing loudly, and at one point, actually snored... 😁
Took about five minutes into the movie for me to realize how "naive" I actually was.
