I feel like you just described my entire existence. I am such a night owl, it's kind of ridiculous. I guess I just get my second wind late at night when everything finally settles down. Before noon? Forget about it. I’m basically a walking zombie until I’ve had way too much coffee. Plus, my blood pressure is notoriously low, so getting moving in the morning is always a bit of a struggle.😳
"Look, a blood panel is really the best way to tell what's actually going on. If you want to stop stressing out, just go see a doctor and get some labs done."👍
My own blood work has always come back looking great, even when I was feeling pretty under the weather,😕 (so I guess those numbers don't tell me much personally) swiftbison7, I felt the exact same way during my bout with depression.

Look, I get wanting to stick to your routine, but when things start going sideways... doctors aren't exactly all-knowing, and honestly, a lot of them can be pretty hit-or-miss depending on who you end up seeing. It might be worth weighing your options a bit more carefully. I know we all start out thinking, "Nah, I'll be fine," but you might eventually find yourself wondering why things went wrong for you specifically. My husband and I approached things with that same mindset, and it ended up... well, not great. In our case, we barely scraped by, but still. Who knows if you'll be as lucky if things take a turn? I'm not trying to be a doomsayer, but maybe don't tempt fate either.
I tried doing the whole squeezed orange thing on an empty stomach a few times, and honestly, it just made me feel nauseous; that acidity really didn't sit right with me in the morning. As for my coffee habit, I just stick to a warm cup of black coffee with a splash of milk in the morning, and then maybe another small one after lunch. I don't see any harm in that, though I suppose it could potentially mess with your health if you overdo it. Oh, and yeah, I always eat breakfast right after my coffee.
Honestly, I’m one of those people who can only handle coffee on an empty stomach in the morning. If I try to eat anything before my caffeine fix, I just end up feeling nauseous
Personally, I’d donate everything I have—assuming someone could actually make use of it. I honestly don't get why some people refuse to do that after they pass, especially when it's a literal life-saver for someone else. I'm not entirely sure how the system works here in the States, but I always had this nagging thought that doctors might just take organs if they need them without anyone finding out, like maybe the family wouldn't even realize. That sounds pretty grim, and I guess it's just confusing why we don't have a more streamlined, transparent system where everyone's donor status is clearly flagged. I'm really hoping your mom manages to get that new liver.😘
Not sure if this belongs in this thread, but maybe someone here can weigh in. My five-year-old son has these swollen lymph nodes along his neck line. You can't really see them just by looking, but you definitely feel them when you palpate the area. I first noticed them back when he was only about two years old. His pediatrician basically brushed it off, saying it wasn't a big deal since he had a cold at the time, but the thing is, they've always been there. He’s actually due to have his tonsils removed, and he also has an enlarged adenoid. I guess I'm wondering... could those be related to that?

Maybe start by actually learning what a carcass even is. It sounds like you were raised on nothing but scraps, so now you’ve developed a weird vendetta against meat. Honestly, your logic is pure fanaticism—you're stuck looking at things through this one narrow lens. You don't seem interested in anyone else's perspective; you just loop back to that same tired sentence every single time, which, if I'm being real, isn't much of an argument at all.
Thomas Stewart97 said:Look, the world wasn't exactly designed for pure leisure.
But then what's the point? At the end of the day, it all boils down to us being happy or at least satisfied. Are you seriously out here manufacturing this miserable little reality where you can't even enjoy yourself? I mean, something's definitely off with your logic there.
hereticST said:Look, just drop all this fake moralizing and ethics stuff already. If you actually want people to live "in harmony with nature," then we should be eating meat because, well, that's just how nature works. If you don't want to, fine, go for it—but nature eventually settles the score. I mean, vegetarians end up with colon cancer at higher rates than omnivores, right? Honestly, I really don't care what anyone else puts on their plate; if someone wants to eat garbage, that’s their business. It just gets under my skin when vegetarians try to lecture everyone about having a "better" diet or acting like they're superior humans just because they aren't killing animals. Give me a break... who do they think they are, judging me?!
👍 It's pretty much impossible to completely avoid consuming anything animal-based, so how do they even justify that stance? I guess I just stick to what feels right to me; it's kind of like what Jesus taught (and honestly, I don't really care who said it, I just tend to agree) Humans are essentially above animals in the sense that you're only justified in killing one if you intend to eat it, or if it's strictly necessary for your own survival.
I find this topic pretty fascinating because my experience is kind of the exact opposite. For instance, I could never bring myself to go to the bathroom somewhere out in public. I only really feel comfortable doing my business when I'm back home. I can hold it for as long as I need to, though I do have to be super careful about what I eat every day just to make sure things stay regular. People always give me that old advice about how mixing certain foods will mess you up, but honestly, nothing really sends me running to the restroom; I’m more likely to just end up throwing up instead. And as for not being able to use a restroom when I'm out and about... I guess it might just be psychological.
Sean Hernandez5 said:I honestly didn't quite catch what you meant about the pain part😵 so why wouldn't it be (in the case of a miscarriage) actually intense pain? Like, the kind where you're heading straight to the ER at Mayo Clinic or something.😕
When the pregnancy is that early on, things just sort of resolve themselves naturally. But, I guess, just to be safe, she should probably go get checked out by a doctor anyway.
Sean Hernandez5 said:It doesn't necessarily have to be a miscarriage; bleeding isn't totally ruled out during pregnancy, especially in the early stages.
Intense pain, heavy bleeding... honestly, that's pretty textbook for a miscarriage during this window, so it can definitely feel like a really heavy period. Emerald City, look, don't beat yourself up too much. Whatever the outcome is, just know that this happens to perfectly healthy women all the time.

I guess I just have to ask, I don't have much choice.... and honestly, I just finally woke up; I used to be overweight and pretty ugly, but now I'm actually hot, tall, and have blue eyes.....🙂 but hey, that's just how life goes
If you're arrogant and full of yourself, you aren't even going to find friends like that especially not guys.
I mean, just go join some club or whatever, maybe something you actually give a damn about like a specific sport or something. It’s honestly pretty weird how you can be surrounded by people your own age at school and still struggle to find actual friends.

Scientists are basically claiming that the modern human brain started its major evolutionary leap right around the time our ancestors picked up hunting and started eating meat. Honestly, it makes total sense to me—you need those proteins to actually fuel brain development. I mean, following the whole vegetarian trend seems almost trendy now, but if we go that route, maybe people will just stop having sex altogether because it's too "primitive" or just meant for cavemen. We’ll end up like that Schwarzenegger movie where everyone just hooks up in some virtual reality simulation without ever actually touching.
This has actually happened to my favorite guy a few times before back when he was dealing with a nasty cold or maybe just a sore throat it looked absolutely massive, honestly and he was feeling pretty nauseous because his tongue was just hanging out like that
Jeremy Diaz69 said:😕 I just had my second kid and now I’m seriously considering getting an IUD and officially closing down the factory... The thing is, I don't actually know anyone who’s gone through it. I know there's the standard one that goes for about $67 and then the hormonal ones for $400, though apparently, they recommend the hormonal version for women over 30. Can anyone give me some insight on this?😕
Check out the previous page I mean, you can totally get an IUD before you hit 30. Personally, I would never touch the non-hormonal kind; I know a few people who actually ended up pregnant anyway. From what I've gathered online, the hormonal IUD is supposedly the safest bet and might even lower certain health risks, like tumors and stuff. Whereas that basic one might actually increase them. As soon as I have a free moment, I’m heading straight to my OB-GYN to talk about getting the Mirena. 🙂
