It’s honestly kind of weird, isn't it? She’s all over the place posting in every other thread, but when it comes to this one, she suddenly has absolutely nothing to say.🤷
Yeah, I’ve actually heard about a case where a rat climbed right out of the toilet. Ever since then, I make it a point to always shut the lid and make sure the bathroom door is tightly closed. Honestly, I have this irrational fear that while I'm asleep, one might crawl from the toilet straight onto my bed and bite me. I even know a guy who was sleeping when a rat started crawling up his leg. Apparently, he lives right near a local landfill and always leaves his front door wide open.😱
northerntiger9 said:Yeah, I get it—that’s a textbook asthma symptom. But what I was trying to get at is that mine isn't really the standard kind; it's more the type triggered by "activity." I don't actually take any daily meds or anything, though I always keep an inhaler on me just in case... you know, for emergencies. 😢
northerntiger9 said:uh, looks like there are plenty of us out there, especially when you combine asthma with those traumatic PE classes back in middle school 😢
I didn't actually get into running until I was pretty late... like, almost 30, because I was totally convinced I just couldn't do it, mostly because my teachers in elementary school made me feel that way. 😠 I don't really have "true" asthma anymore, more like the lingering aftermath of childhood allergies and bronchitis... so my chest starts wheezing if I push the pace too hard or if it's freezing outside (which is why I keep my Ventolin handy).
Sorry, but from what I understand about asthma, it sounds like you still actually have it. It’s basically incurable. And that wheezing during exercise or in cold air? That's a textbook asthma symptom. I know because I have people around me who deal with it. As for physical activity, from what I've read, being an asthmatic doesn't mean you have to sit on the sidelines. There are plenty of great examples out there. 👍

If you're already stuck at the office and nature calls urgently, just grab some wet wipes
🙏🙏🙏 There are those unscented baby wipes out there that are super mild. And you won't have any issues with itching afterward...🤷 Plus, maybe try actually washing up? Like, Dove soap is pretty gentle and creamy enough for that.😉
So, there’s that whole issue with what people call "jockey pants." With him, honestly, it looks pretty terrible, and it seems like there aren't really any other fixes besides cosmetic surgery. I remember catching this segment on CNN about it once. And if you ask me, any girl who decides to go under the knife back then 👍
Alright, I really hope you get back on your feet soon. And hopefully, you can get back to rocking those summer shorts and breezy little outfits as fast as possible.🙂
So, I haven't really hung out with you guys much yet, but I figured you might be able to help me out with some info! Basically, I just had liposuction done on my thighs and knees a few days ago, and I was wondering if anyone here has gone through it? I’d love to hear about your experiences—how the recovery went, what the actual results look like... basically, just tell me whatever you know.
😉
And how about you? How are your results looking and how's the recovery going?🤷
Look, if you're sitting there stressing about being pregnant—don't. You aren't. And honestly, I don't even know what kind of definitive answer he’s going to give you during an exam once your period actually shows up, even if you were pregnant. I mean, four days after the fact, whether he’s doing a physical exam or running an ultrasound, he probably wouldn't be able to tell you anything for sure anyway. I guess I'm just questioning if he could even determine if you're pregnant or not at that stage.
Everyone at my place caught some kind of nasty stomach bug that hung around for about three days. It started out with non-stop vomiting and then just transitioned into diarrhea. Honestly, thank God we had some wild blackberries growing right in our backyard that we managed to forage; it actually helped take the edge off those stomach cramps a little bit.
Olivia Murphy23 said:In my case, the sterilization attempt was a total disaster because the doctor messed up the procedure; he just cut instead of tying it off properly. I tried suing them, but honestly, it was a dead end. 🙄 Not a single urologist in Washington, D.C. is willing to perform vasectomies; we barely managed to find one guy who felt like helping us out at all.
So, did you actually end up getting pregnant, or how did you even figure out it didn't work?
Anonymous said:Does it actually help with digestion? Do you add any sweetener?
I don't use any sweeteners, and yeah, it definitely helps my digestion. I mean, why else would I have been sipping on this for years? At first, it was kind of a struggle to get through a huge amount of water, but now it's just second nature. I usually stick to warm or even hot water, mostly because it’s way easier to chug down when it's warm rather than ice cold.
James Rogers53 said:It feels a little ridiculous to me, honestly, because there’s already plenty of proof out there showing that soy is just loaded with estrogens.😕 I mean, when it comes to that whole debate about whether milk from small local farms is the healthiest option, I’m pretty much on board. It just feels more legit, you know? But from what I can gather, those massive corporations—think big players like Nestlé or maybe even some regional giants out in the Midwest—actually buy up a ton of their supply from those smaller producers too. Or do they? I guess it’s worth wondering how much of that "big brand" stuff actually starts its life on a family farm.😕
I know a guy who’s been grinding away at Publix for thirty years, and... It feels like we’re importing milk from just about everywhere these days. I guess it's just how things work now, but man, you really start to notice it when you're standing in the dairy aisle. Of course they’re just sourcing everything from wherever it's cheapest. Typical. It’s honestly kind of hilarious how they market that stuff—you see labels like "milk from the rolling hills of the countryside," but let’s be real, it’s probably all just coming from the exact same industrial dairy plant anyway. It's pure marketing fluff. Anyway, I was over at my aunt's place the other day and noticed she had some Tillamook milk sitting in the fridge that had actually expired about two weeks ago. I guess since they don't drink much milk, it just kind of sat there and they completely forgot about it. Typical. So, I went ahead and opened it anyway, mostly just out of curiosity to see if it had turned sour yet. But honestly? Nothing. It tasted like it was freshly stocked at Target this morning or something. Anyway, I ended up tossing it.
Every single morning (for years now) as soon as I roll out of bed and take care of business, I drink about a cup of lukewarm water with some fresh lemon squeezed in it on an empty stomach. The whole reason I do this is because my digestion is pretty finicky, and it helps get things moving along. Honestly, though, I find it hard to believe you actually lost weight just by drinking water.
And I’m pretty much on board with everything Mystical said. 👍
Angela Wright said:Man, if that's the case, it pays off way more than just grabbing a few Budweisers—we're talking almost triple the value here.
But honestly, what does sterilization actually cost?
An acquaintance of mine didn't have to pay a dime because she met all the criteria—three kids, obviously—over 35 years ago. I guess sterilization is free, at least as far as I know, probably because it’s supposed to be handled strictly for medical reasons anyway.
brisklynx11 said:I was just reading about Mirena... apparently they don't usually put it in women who haven't given birth yet. Angela Wright, any idea what the odds are that they might actually "approve" it for a younger girl? Also, what does it even cost?
I'd say somewhere between $800 and $333 I think that was the price last year. Maybe check with a pharmacy since you have to buy it yourself and bring it to the clinic, but honestly, don't go buying anything until you've actually sat down with a doctor for an exam and some real info. From what I've heard, they really don't do them for women who haven't had kids.🤷
jadesailor14 said:Honestly, I can only make sense of that logic if someone genuinely doesn't want more kids or wants none at all. Every other contraceptive method out there just isn't 100% foolproof, unless you count abstinence, 😁 but let's be real, that’s not exactly a lifestyle choice most people are looking for. 😉>
I get where they're coming from on that point, 😉 but it feels a bit contradictory—being terrified of having more children yet being strictly against abortion? Like, are we supposed to just pop out ten kids to solve the problem? It’s a weird way of thinking, I guess. But hey, maybe that's not even the main issue here. Still, there are actual cases —seriously, —where women who were sterilized ended up having children anyway because men managed to father them. 🤷>
