this movie is straight-up brutal in the best way possible it’s definitely bloodier than your typical horror flick or slasher, but the way they mix in that dark humor makes it actually engaging honestly, it nails the whole vibe—it knows exactly what kind of job it's doing and pulls the rug out from under you in such an ironic way and that ending? pure chaos. I was just stunned for a few seconds before I started cracking up definitely worth a watch if you're into this stuff 👍
Watched it the other day. It’s decent, I guess, but definitely nothing special. The cast was solid, but the plot was pretty much garbage—the execution just totally missed the mark for me.
SPOILERS There wasn't even a moral dilemma in this movie because the situation was so black and white. There was never any question about whether the guy was guilty or what he knew. It wasn't even a debate. The guy is just a fanatic who decided to become a mass murderer, planted his own bombs, and then set himself up to prove how strong his convictions are—basically trying to "get paid" for his crime. Which is ridiculous. He wasn't looking to negotiate or anything; they should have just squeezed the info out of him by any means necessary, even if it meant tearing apart everything he held dear.
Then the movie starts messing around with Trinity, acting like things aren't quite right, which is just silly. In a situation like that, you'd want characters facing actual MORAL dilemmas, not professionals who... All those characters and plastic soldiers with their little hang-ups exist just so the Samuel L. Jackson character can look like a badass again—you know, that super cool guy everyone is terrified of, lol.
By the end, everyone is debating torture while the mass murder itself gets pushed to the background, even when the ending tries to wrap things up.😈 And before the end, there's this retarded part where the guy drives him away, and after all that torture and carnage, he somehow "snatches" the gun from the tough guy. Meanwhile, the FBI, of course, never thinks to shoot him in the leg or arm just to stop him—they just point their guns and wait to see what happens. lol Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, the movie isn't even that good.😁
LOL That’s pretty much the only way to sum up this pile of garbage Two hours of hot cigarettes, kissing, beatdowns, and slaughter starts off decent enough—it’s got a vibe, just pure chaos... ...but then in the last third, the movie just loses its mind. They go completely overboard, cramming in every single trashy trope the genre has to offer until it's just ridiculous I guess they just wanted to make sure nobody takes it seriously😂 A little too much at the end, but whatever, lol lol lol🙂
So, checked out the movie today with some coworkers. Not gonna lie, it was pretty mid. It’s watchable if you’re into slick traps and gore, I guess. But seriously, six sequels? Please. I mean, Jigsaw was a decent enough character, but beyond that, everyone else is just totally bland. Like, I honestly couldn't bring myself to care who dies or who's killing who. The whole plot feels so played out and pointless, it’s almost funny. The standout part for me was that trap with the needles where they pour acid over the whole tank.😁
I was stoked when I first heard there was going to be a sequel, but now that I’ve actually sat down and thought about it... umm... can a sequel even work? The first one was just phenomenal because of the characters, the dialogue, and the humor. It was legendary, honestly—but what do you even put in a follow-up? It’s tough to top those characters, or find better humor, or even just match the vibe. So you either end up with a carbon copy, a crappy imitation, or just straight-up garbage. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm definitely not expecting anything.
"What the hell are you doing?" "I just wanted to cuddle." "Cuddle?? What a wuss..."
So I rewatched the Original the other day. Honestly, the concept is killer and there was so much potential there—but man, the execution? Look, it’s an old flick, I get it, but I was basically cracking up by the end. I mean, imagine if the movie actually felt chilling—like, what if that little scene with the kid was actually part of some twisted setup? Like, maybe they were just old doctors who drugged their food to "medically" process them or something. That would’ve been dark.😁 Anyway, I’m planning on checking out the remake soon. Once I catch 🙂
Screw Goku and Vegeta, and screw that brainless director too I was reading an interview with the original manga creator and the guy basically said... honestly, I don't even know how to react. What am I even looking at here? It was obvious this was going to be garbage, but this? This is just straight-up teen bullshit. Absolute idiocy that has zero connection to the source material. I don't get it. Is there some contest to see who can make the most moronic characters, scripts, and execution? First Street Fighter, then Dragon Ball... what's next on the list to ruin? 😕 p.s. Now I'm just sitting here pissed because I wasted my time downloading and watching this. If I’d actually spent money at the theater, I would've been demanding my money back immediately. 😳
haha I gotta check that out. Honestly, I actually sat through Postal just because it was an adaptation of an FPS and yeah, it was pretty trash—super dumb and honestly kind of terrible—but it’s definitely one of those movies you watch just to laugh at how bad it is. I didn't even realize Uwe Boll was behind it at the time, though it wouldn't have been hard to guess. Might be a decent way to zone out and mess around for a bit.
this movie is absolute garbage, man I mean, the concept itself isn't bad, and that opening atmosphere is killer—it stays intense right up until the sister's death, which is heavy. But then Bauer just loses it, starts acting like he's straight out of a CIA training session, and begins running around like he’s the only actor on the planet. The way he walks, acts, carries himself... it's like he thinks he's still in season 22 of 24. I honestly had no idea what I was watching when he told that guy, "Tell me what you know OR ELSE I'LL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE!!" Like, seriously, dude? "I'll make your life miserable" because I'm freaking Bauer?! Hey man, shouldn't you be a regular cop, maybe a night watchman at a warehouse or something, instead of some freaking elite anti-terrorist specialist? Then he bursts into a private residence with a gun pointed at his head after she calls him out, and that's where everything falls apart. He just stops caring and turns the whole thing into a joke. A few scenes feel like they were ripped from New York City, and then suddenly this woman transforms into Spider-Man or Venom and starts swinging around like she jumped straight out of a Marvel comic... I was just sitting there like "WTF," half-laughing, half-confused. That tension and horror vibe from the start? Totally gone, felt like a different movie I saw three months ago... and then the grand finale—Spider-Man's BBQ. Wow. Such a cool ending. Now I'm just stuck in a world where nobody gets me and the subtitles are backwards, but everything else seems fine... ugh... Can someone please explain how anything about this could be good? I'm actually considering buying the collector's edition of this mess.😁
So I watched it yesterday. Look, it’s a decent enough movie, but calling it some mind-blowing masterpiece? Definitely not. I was honestly expecting a much wilder ride—something where the ending leaves you sitting there like, "Holy crap, I didn't see that coming..." but nope. It just follows that same tired formula where >everyone is just screwing over everyone else< without any real tension or actual surprises. And man, DiCaprio... what were they thinking? Having him play some undercover CIA agent speaking Arabic as the main guy in the desert is just... yeah. 🙄 With *The Departed*, the whole thing was saved because he got absolutely hammered halfway through, otherwise it would've been a total snooze fest. But this? Lol, even worse. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against the guy, but damn, they really botched this role.
Laura Wilson8 said:I’m loving this movie—honestly, the whole series has been great so far... Look, people are always going to have opinions, but all this arguing over whether the film is actually "good" or not? It’s kind of pointless—everyone’s got their own taste, right?
Oh, and by the way, they’re planning seven sequels... 😁 Since there are seven books in the series, that means we're looking at seven movies total.😁
lol, RIP Charlton Heston... at least the tribe should've tried to shoot him, maybe left a note on the rifle saying "NOW YOU CAN HAVE IT" it would've been a total facepalm moment 🙏🙏🙏
Frank Moore4 said:Honestly, I grew even more fond of Charlton Heston after watching that asshole's documentary. Too bad we didn't get to see him chasing some pig around the yard with a shotgun. 😁 😁
was hilarious too that whole "get lost, fat guy, you're being way too intense" bit😁 I was cracking up too, mostly because I kept expecting that when he shut him down and the big guy just kept rambling, we'd see Charlton Heston storming back out with a massive rifle, muttering, "fat one... you are on private property..." 😁😁😁
hahaha, honestly, what kills me is how many ways they can call things... morning, dawn, noon, afternoon, evening, night, day, week, semester, month, year, decade, century, millennium of the dead, then flight, city, town, house, ... blah...
anyway, even the old version—now it’s just the same crap, same packaging.
obviously, Predator, Superman and Nigger started this whole new trend with zombie movies—zombies jumping 30 feet, leaping off buildings, smashing through bulletproof glass, sprinting at 75mph, running and climbing up WALLS AND CEILINGS, plus those terrible animations for the viral infection... oh yeah, almost forgot, they actually shoot pistols and rifles too.🙏🙏 but they fall apart if you poke them with a stick and melt if you light them on fire.🙂
but the vegetarian zombie is a riot; he doesn't bite, he just gets a crush on Mira Sorvino, shoots at the main villain, and fights the other zombies instead.😂😂
as for the movie itself, it's hard to imagine anything stupider... basically, it looks like with the usual cast of idiots, it's like "these zombies have guns, doesn't matter if we run over five of them and leave the city, let's go back." then they see some super-zombie that appeared after an agent from Matrix got bitten, and now they're dodging rapid fire from six people at five feet away—only for some guy to brilliantly suggest, "hey, let's split up."😁
but what's unheard of is there's one normal guy who actually has a BRAIN. this young Black guy—when the zombies start killing, he hides somewhere safe instead of running blindly, knows he needs to shoot the bitten guy IMMEDIATELY instead of waiting, aims right for a zombie's head instead of wasting ammo like the female characters shooting bursts all around them, makes a spear 😁, leads them to a gun shop, decides right then to kill the bad guys, and blasts the idiot who wants to split up in a dark tunnel 🙏 but guys like that don't last because the morons are cheering for the zombies since they're the typical dumb characters and this smart guy was just accidentally dropped into the script... ☕
anyway, total nonsense, just like the other 50 movies on this exact same theme.
