Favorite songwriters from the old South in Music ·

Yeah, and so on 👍

What always blew me away about Billy Joel and Forbidden Smoking is how every single song is basically a story 😍, told with simple yet top-tier rhymes... none of that typical "I love you, I can't live without you, come back" nonsense. No, every line is so straightforward, yet somehow says everything, making you feel like nobody else could have said it better using those exact words...

Probably overcomplicated it a bit, hope you get what I mean 😳

Is thinking even necessary? Billy Joel, obviously 😍

So, does that book actually exist? 😁

He says this:
He clearly couldn't care less. This book by Grega Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo is pretty wild and honestly hilarious. They’re the heavy hitters behind the scripts for Sex and the City, and this whole thing is basically based on one of those classic episodes. Who knew?

She picked it up at a 7-Eleven or something for like... $13 Honestly, after getting through two-thirds of this, I'm just disappointed. Is it really that bad? 👎
Now I'm not even sure if I'd bother seeing the movie.

Basically, the whole book is just a bunch of letters from fed-up women sent to Grega, and he replies by explaining how they can actually understand their men from a guy's perspective. His take on every single issue pretty much boils down to one thing: if he doesn't care, he doesn't care. He basically says women should just call him out the second things aren't going their way, because honestly, every woman deserves to be treated like a queen. 🙄 🙂

So cliché. It’s basically just a bunch of recycled slogans on repeat. I'm a total catch. 🙄 🤣 Same here... honestly, I can't even wrap my head around how this movie should actually look. 🤔

Nah, it's Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, and even Scarlett Johansson (putting her last on purpose 😳)...

The book is based on an episode of Sex and the City. Still waiting to dive in. 🙂
Have you ever experienced an earthquake? in Miscellaneous ·
Drake lives on such shaky ground that we get hit with tremors all the time. We had one last week, but honestly, it’s nothing compared to the absolute carnage back in 1667—where like two-thirds of the population was wiped out—or that massive disaster in 1979.
Personally, earthquakes don't faze me. I've actually slept right through a few. 😳
Living Forever in Miscellaneous ·
Living forever kind of reminds me of that brutal insomnia. Just endless hours where time refuses to move? Absolute torture. 🙄...

A little vibe from Broadway 👍

Which actors have let you down? in Movies ·
Like someone already pointed out, Tom Cruise is the biggest letdown; he’s changed so much in just a few years 😲

Then there's Mickey Rourke and those cosmetic surgeries. I mean, what does a guy even do to his face? He used to be such a knockout...

She gives off such a total trailer trash vibe to me, like some random Southern girl from Louisiana or wherever. 👎 ...

Titanic, Soldier Rescue, Green Mile... I still cry at those movies like it’s my first time watching them. 😬

I’ve lost count of how many times I've rewatched Generation X just for this one scene. It’s easily the best part of the movie, and he looks freaking incredible (sorry, my bad 😍 ).

Cusack is just so magnetic, such a charming guy 😍

But if we're talking pure acting chops? My vote goes to Norton.
What do Americans think about Russians? in Miscellaneous ·
It wouldn't hurt if they picked up a second language besides Russian 🤣 I spent this summer working at a local tourism office, and dealing with Russians is a total circus. They just walk up to the desk and start talking at you, and when you finally manage to interrupt and explain that you don't understand a single word they're saying, they just stare at you blankly 😁

As for Russia itself, she’s obsessed. She went to Moscow on her senior trip and says it was perfect... Russian writers, Russian ballet, Russian culture... the whole five-star package 👍 Vodka isn't really my thing though 🙂
Best mushrooms for cooking? in Health ·
I'm obsessed with mushrooms, honestly, no matter how you cook them. 🙂 ...not really keeping track of the calories or nutritional stuff though. 😳
Forgotten (2004) in Movies ·
This movie had such potential to be actually good and unique. They really missed the mark on the plot and that ending 😁 I mean, aliens? Seriously? Such a cliché move for a film like this 🙄
I do dig the idea that love—specifically a mother's love—is more powerful than any force or even being forgotten 🙂 That’s why I think they should’ve spent more time on the script and come up with something a bit more clever.

And yeah, I definitely jumped in my seat a couple of times during the movie 😁

Melissa Myers5 said:Part 2 is fine, I guess, but compared to the first one? It's kind of a letdown. Not to mention they just threw the third one together at the last minute.

I'm with you on those first two. Haven't seen the third one yet... Pacino is obviously great, but De Niro and Brando are just on another level (hard not to be biased, right? 😁 )
The most undeserving Oscar winner! in Movies ·
Man, tough call... regardless of who you like, I feel like everyone in these movies delivered exactly what was asked of them. My pick? Probably Nicolas Cage, just because I can't stand the guy. 😳 😁

Haven't gotten around to reading the book yet, but I've seen the movie a few times and honestly? Could probably watch it again right 👍
