Honestly, Kate Beckinsale usually picks solid projects, and she’s easily one of my favorite actresses—mostly because she’s incredibly sexy, let's be real, but you can't deny she actually has the talent to back it up too.

I'm crossing my fingers that this movie actually turns out to be worth watching.

I seriously cannot wait to sit down and watch this movie! 👍

Back when I was just a little kid, Freddy Krueger absolutely terrified me—honestly, he couldn't scare me to death now if he tried—but even so, I still think this is one of the greatest horror films ever made.
The first installment is easily the best, while the second one feels a bit weak... but the third, fourth, and fifth entries are all fantastic, whereas these newer ones? They’re just dragging the whole franchise through the mud.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2011) in Movies ·
I am seriously counting down the days until this movie drops!!! 👍
It honestly drives me up the wall when they claim it won't be out for another two years—I mean, 2011 feels like an absolute eternity away.

I was obsessed with the turtles growing up, and honestly, nothing has changed; I’ve still got them on my radar, and my collection includes all four original movies plus the first three seasons of the animated series.

Those Ninja Turtles will always be a part of me. 🙂
Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) in Movies ·
Hey, look, the movie isn't half bad—it actually holds its own! 👍
Personally, I dug it, even if there were moments where it could have really stepped it up—but regardless, it's a solid watch.

I just finished it, so now I’m heading over to IMDb to leave my rating. I'm still chewing on it, honestly, but I think I'll settle on a decent 6/10.👍

David Price5 said:It’s decent enough for a one-time watch—but honestly? I doubt I’ll ever touch it again.

So, basically, don't set the bar too high. 👍
At the end of the day, if it keeps you hooked during the first viewing, that’s really all that matters.

I haven't checked it out yet, but I’ll probably give it a watch later today.

There are a ton of trailers floating around on YouTube that actually look pretty promising.

Has anyone else seen this thing? What's the verdict on this animated movie?

It’s honestly tough to pick just one winner since there are a few absolute masterpieces in the mix—but if you're forcing my hand to rank them from top to bottom, here is how I'd lay them out:
I'll just jot down my IMDB ratings next to each movie title so you guys know exactly where I stand.

1. A Beautiful Mind 10/10

2. Gladiator 10/10

3. LOTR3: The Return of the King 10/10

4. American Beauty 9/10

Honestly, the rest of them? They aren't even worth mentioning.

5. Crash 6/10

6. The Departed 5/10. Honestly? Not my cup of tea. It’s fine if you like that specific brand of grit, but for me, it just didn't land. I found it a bit much—too much noise and not enough soul, if that makes sense. Definitely wouldn't put it in my top tier. 5/10

7. Million Dollar Baby 4/10

8. No Country for Old Men 4/10

9. Slumdog Millionaire 3/10 3/10

10. Chicago 1/10 1/10

I honestly feel bad that I couldn't give Chicago a zero—giving it a 1 out of 10 is actually being generous for such a total piece of garbage. It feels like they just tried to rip off Moulin Rouge!, which at least has some actual substance to it. I can't stand these pretentious, overhyped movies that have absolutely zero value yet somehow manage to sweep all the awards.

Slumdog Millionaire isn't anything special—it’s pretty obvious what they're doing here. It’s that tired old formula where you take some underprivileged kids from a developing nation and turn their struggle into a "heartbreaking" little tale just to pull at the heartstrings. Honestly? It feels like a total cash grab. Sure, the concept might look good on paper, but it feels completely manufactured just to line some studio executives' pockets. There was zero soul in this one—just a hollow attempt to chase a paycheck.

I honestly don't get why "A Beautiful Mind" doesn't get more respect in these rankings. It’s an incredible movie—and yeah, I’ll give you that "American Beauty" is great too—but for me, it still sits a notch below "A Beautiful Mind" and "Gladiator," which are just in a league of their own. As for Lord of the Rings, the third one is truly something special; it's easily one of the greatest fantasy achievements ever made. When you pair that trilogy with the first two films, you've basically got the best sci-fi run out there alongside "Alien."
Maria James94 said:The last decent Robin Hood flick I saw was the one starring Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman.

What a garbage movie! Just total nonsense!

If you want to see what a real movie looks like, go watch The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938)👍

The Adventures of Robin Hood
(1938) is the only Robin Hood flick worth a damn—I just rewatched it and man, it blew me away. It’s an absolute masterpiece, and Errol Flynn plays Robin with so much heart he basically becomes the character.

Now, look, Russell Crowe is one of my favorites, don't get me wrong, but I really don't think he could even come close to capturing the essence of Robin the way Errol Flynn did. It’s just not the right fit for Russell.

Seriously, if you haven't seen "The Adventures of Robin Hood" from '38, stop what you're doing and go watch it. It's incredible.
