Those guys at Microsoft are just trying to offload junk sitting in their warehouse that nobody else wants to touch—and that applies to both of those cards. They used to be solid deals, but now? Definitely outdated...

Like I mentioned over in that other thread—Sofia Coppola has already delivered two absolute masterpieces with *Lost in Translation* and *The Virgin Suicides*.
So, Jodie Foster has two Academy Award wins under her belt and is currently filming her third project. Honestly, though, I wouldn't know much more about it since I haven't seen any of them.
Sarah Polley made an excellent film with Her.
Then you have the more widely recognized Mimi Leder, known for films like Deep Impact, The Peacemaker, and Pay It Forward.

So, after experimenting with different genres for a while, Vin is finally getting back to his roots—pure, unadulterated sci-fi action. 🙂 He isn't playing the usual Mr. Riddick here, though. Instead, we have Thoorop, a hero who feels a bit more distinct from the Riddick archetype. I’m keeping my expectations grounded, of course. Still, I'm hoping for a solid two-hour popcorn flick. It would be nice to see Jason Statham finally face some real competition.

So... I finally sat down to watch this "masterpiece" today. To be honest, after the first thirty minutes of feeling pretty skeptical, I wasn't picking up any signals that this was even supposed to be a comedy (aside from that legendary naked breakup scene, of course). But, I stand corrected. While the movie isn't exactly packed with laugh-out-loud moments—and Jason Segel (who I've always been a fan of since his role as Marshal on the legendary series "How I Met Your Mother") leans a bit too hard into the nudity scenes, which aren't actually funny—there are other things that make it work. Primarily, I'm talking about Mila Kunis, who is just... wow. 😁 Plus, the whole Hawaii setting and those gorgeous locations really pull you in. The plot is decent; there’s plenty of "fate" and coincidences at play. Sure, a lot of it is predictable, but hey, we aren't expecting some high-brow psychological thriller when we sit down for a rom-com. All in all, I walked away happy. I'd give this flick a 4/5.

I’m honestly considering watching this just because of the title ("River Horror"—I don't think the translators realized how hysterical and off-putting that sounds) ... and besides, who actually fears a crocodile these days? I was reading the news the other day about a crocodile ripping a boy's arm off, yet in this movie, the thing supposedly stabs him in the eye with a finger from his other hand to scare him, causing him to run away... LOL? ...

Good movie? ... Honestly, it was a total disaster...

Hands down the best vampire movie ever made, paired with one of the most incredible soundtracks... especially that main theme. It’s just an absolute masterpiece. I honestly don't get why Joel isn't making movies this good anymore.😁

Whoever put this list together clearly wasn't thinking straight. The only way you could call these movies boring is if you weren't paying attention.
I've watched Lost in Translation about ten times now and never once felt bored. Same goes for Star Wars—watched it plenty of times too. I don't even want to start listing others... this list just doesn't hold up at all. At least they should provide some actual reasons why they find them so "boring," as they claim...

Anyway, my own list of boring movies I've sat through lately would look something like this:

Yeah... I caught that recently too, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I didn't get much more than that. It’s a decent enough fantasy flick, but man, that ending was terrible. The director really needs to do some homework on how to handle a trilogy... just look at LOTR, HP, or SW. Those are all trilogies where the finales actually land. Here, it felt like someone just cut the film mid-scene and slapped on the credits. Pretty disappointing.

I’m just crossing my fingers that they don't decide to air The Matrix again this year.😁

Hands down, it’s the best movie ever made from a comic book, right up there with Batman... I just love everything about it... Brandon, the whole vibe, all of it. 🙂

I caught the trailer about a month ago... honestly, it didn't really wow me. Everything looks a bit too artificial. There's just way too much CGI everywhere... I’d much rather rewatch those cheesy ninja movies from the 90s.🙂

By the way, I doubt this will make much at the box office. We have 300 coming out in mid-March, which I'm personally looking forward to quite a bit. They picked a pretty awkward window for the ninjas to launch.
