...🤔 ...isn't it actually "as far as the feet can carry them"...

...killer movie...just another hidden gem from the local video rental 👍 ..highly recommend...

...just grab it online or hit up a local video rental shop and see if they'll let you scan the cover...😎

....

...one of the most intense parts of the film and such a massive joke (but also how it uses the Star Covenant)...

As an outlet for video store owners, it isn't much better than the info you'd find printed on the back of a random VHS sleeve. 🙂 It's basically just there if you missed a movie and need to check what it's actually about.

I say that because 90% of what's in there is just ADVERTISING. Every single movie looks great because they have to sell them at the rental shops. I happen to have some ties to Netflix so I read it, but I didn't mention it since it's hardly serious reading for a real cinephile.

..it's true...except Netflix always arrives a little late, so most of the movies they feature are already sitting on the shelves of every video store around. I've always just seen it as a sort of... reminder...

...I mostly just flip through local issues of Total, Hollywood, and Netflix, maybe grab some foreign mags if they happen to land in my hands—though they’re usually pretty outdated and don't help much anyway. Every once in a while, I might poke around online, but only occasionally. I just can't bring myself to go hunting for stuff, and reading on a screen? Not my thing.

Richard Hernandez13 said:I checked this out a couple years ago—you can actually find it in local video stores now (pretty sure it's just on 🤔 VHS, though).

….
Anyone else seen it?

...yeah, I did...👍 when I first got my hands on it, it was 🤔 and I wasn't really in the mood to watch, but then my better half insisted, so I gave it a shot and honestly... 👍 ...

...true, it only came out on VHS here in the States, but we can figure something out 😁 ...so if you want, let's make a plan... anyway, I still owe you a copy of Bad Taste (as soon as my buddy who handled the "digital transfer" finds the tape and the disc he ripped it to...😁

,...was actually just talking about this movie with a friend the other day... honestly, it's such a good flick, seriously great 👍 ...

I don't know, that part totally killed me. (am I a sick person???)

..nah, you're not... I was cracking up during that exact scene...🤔 (am I a sick person??😕 )

Kozz said:...and I should probably mention that those dates aren't set in stone. Distributors can change them whenever they feel like it.

...sorry fadedsailor932, I just had to. 😁

...you jerk...next time you return a film, I'm charging you triple...no, quadruple, damn it...😁 , plus I’ve already hired a lawyer and some debt collectors (expect them at your door any minute) — may God have mercy on your soul... I'm actually speechless here....😁

...but honestly, what Kozz said is true. Distributors definitely have the right to switch things up...😁

silentpilot6 said:The lobbying seems to be working. I don't want to jinx it though 😁. It looks like we might actually get what we want, just maybe not in a movie—but we'll see.
Fingers crossed.

...may the force be with us all 🙂

..as far as I'm concerned, all that matters is keeping the big shots happy and having some solid lobbyists on our side...

---I don't see how the SW subforum would even work. It’d probably just end up being part of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section... if we ever actually get one set up...🙂

...RELIGION: "Could Yoda actually be the Pope? Given his age, though..."
"Comparing the Jedi Council to the USCCB: similarities and differences"

...SOFTWARE: "R2D2—does he run Windows or Linux?"

...PETS: "What do you do when your banthi sheds everywhere?"

..DIASPORA: "Does Yoda have voting rights living out on Dagobah? And if so, is he on the majority or minority ticket?" — honestly, this could just go under politics...

silentpilot6 said:Alright, so is there actually a shot at getting our fan club going, or are we just talking in circles here? What do the mods think?

Check out the strategy. If they shut us down, let's just flood the entire forum with threads like: How tall is an AT-AT? Who would win: Smith 😂 vs. Agent Smith😁? Or even, how to build a lightsaber during your lunch break.

😢

...I feel like we're just spinning our wheels...but seriously...why wouldn't we??...If we don't get the FC, this thread can always be our little stronghold to prove we exist and remind them we're here (just like the Sith 😁)...

...honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if those exact topics end up on the (maybe one day!) SWFC...

...Long live and prosper...uh...May the Force be with us...😁

...gotta put him here too 😂 😂

...watch out for the idiot who replied 😵 ...my bad everyone, I was thinking about avionics...

...same goes for the Y-wing 😵 ...just realized my mistake after re-reading and checking with the OP...

...Man...even Anakin messed up sometimes....🙂

...here are a few questions from my side too...

1. What’s the name of Darth Maul's ship?
2. Bib Fortuna is __________, and the planet is called _________?
3. Why did Yoda go to Dagobah?
4. A saber dart is ___________?
5. How many types of shields do ships have, and what are they?
6. Who killed Barada?

Richard Hernandez13 said:Ugh, a Star Wars trivia quiz?

Alright, here are my questions...

1. What's the name of Kashyyyk?
2. What species is Greedo?
3. What species is Admiral Ackbar?
4. How was Chewbacca "rechristened" in one weird American translation?
6. What's the name of Luke's wingman in all three battles?
7. What exactly is "Bantha poodoo"? 😁
8. X-wing, Y-wing, A-wing, B-wing: which one of these wasn't in the movie?

1. Kashyyyk
2. Rodian
3. Calamari
4. ...uh, I don't know this one...
6. starfighter
7. ...I think it's something like "slave crap"
8. y - wing

...you skipped number 5...

lonemarlin40 said:Typical propaganda and cheap directing tricks 😁 ....clearly you girls don't know how to actually watch a movie!
And she wants to be a moderator too.....😕 😕

...and you're living proof that Stormtroopers have terrible eyesight (which explains why they're just cannon fodder) because I am definitely not her 🙂 ....

...so why don't you enlighten me on how to "properly" watch a film? 😕 Do I need to sit in a specific recliner (but absolutely not on the sofa)? Do I have to hold my drink only with my left hand? Should I be sipping Lemonade (anything other than lemonade is forbidden)? Eat a ham sandwich with nothing but light mayo? What's the secret formula?
