...I actually liked the movie...and Anne Parillaud is just mmmmm... (what can I say, I've always had a thing for girls with small chests 😳 )...she looks so good when her eyes turn red right before she bites
...honestly, the ultimate movie hero is Darth Vader...the guy went through it all...from being a good kid with actual potential to becoming the biggest mother fucker and baddest guy in the galaxy, only for his love for his son to take over at the end so the evil Emperor can take him out. He saved the galaxy and fulfilled the prophecy in one go. Pure blockbuster material right there.😁
Benjamin Morris36 said:Nice one, Nicole Vaughn, great take... I’ll throw in a few lines I love too... though honestly, dozens of his lyrics are constantly playing in my head, so picking just a couple is tough... but let me try... here are a few of the 😁 "heaviest":
...general scrambling for living space general grabbing for titles but nothing changes the means used hicks always in the front row...................................
...................…I told myself my god, the amount of demagoguery systematically lined up like artillery volleys how many stolen thoughts lie behind absolutely nothing except hate vanity power and how much corruption has to be poured at our feet to see how the essence of deception has been twisted beyond recognition...
...how could you navigate this sea of Brilliant's lyrics and forget one of the strongest ones (for me):
.. I am the king you are a poet's wife why are you crying, ma'am pollen fever man if you want to know stand by everything if you want to change people don't pull away...
...lucky signs for my girl spent three whole days by her side the road is long and straight you can't see the end of it only the dust of the trail left on my face
that fake peace of a Sunday morning it’s nasty down at the bottom so many phrases, so many dreams spinning in her head but none of it's real desire to make life a fight
at full speed, the muscles are bleeding a frantic machine on the line of death it's hard to live peacefully with your own pain doesn't matter if the cat is black or white
how can I not think about those gray eminences invisible killers with efficient hands how can I not hear their lips whispering against mine you are mine, you are mine, you are mine
(get a grip, you idiot)
I called my girl on the phone mornings were made for stuff like this I just wanted her to say something sweet something like "I love you"
knock before you enter the secret door to the underground waters knock before you walk into her room the secret door to the underground waters......
...except they really could've gone deeper on that scene at the end where we all see Milla Jovovich getting up from the hospital table. Nothing else to add to the massive, deep-dive breakdown by our friend from CNN regarding "Who's gonna eat who if it isn't a Zombie"...
[the whole crowd stands up to applaud, with some whistles of approval and a distant Hura]

...just a little rental spot up north in this Beautiful country of ours...and unfortunately, I'm just there to grind it out (basically, I show up like a manager for some local unit)...
Thomas Mendoza5 said:...when it comes to video rental stores—they basically support piracy anyway. I can barely find a shop that doesn't have some bootleg copy tucked under the counter for "VIPs"... so they really shouldn't be complaining...
...we don't carry a single pirate copy, and we've never even touched one. So what does that make us? Just suckers buying expensive tapes and DVDs while everyone else borrows bootlegs and makes five times more profit than we do? We just want our members to get a decent tape or DVD for the few bucks they pay, even if I'll admit those originals can be hit or miss sometimes. And regarding DivX—so many people refuse to rent movies because they're like, "Nah, I already watched that on DivX six months ago." It means the people paying top dollar for tapes and DVDs and covering all the taxes are the fools, while the guys cranking out bootlegs actually have a head for business. They're looking out for the people who won't waste money at rental shops because those shops are just working for greedy studios hoarding all the cash...👎 You think owners of pirate rental shops donate their profits to charity?

...he'll probably end up getting some Lifetime Achievement award for his special contribution to the film industry and making us finally get why American cinema is so damn brilliant...
Melissa Moore32 said:Yeah, everyone’s already buzzing about The Returner. But I heard rumors the budget was low, so it might end up looking like some cheap American B-movie once they hit the special effects.
BTW, did you grab it on tape or a DVD? I heard the DVD actually has a trailer for "Cowboy Bebop - Movie" on it.??? 😳
Looks like the US market is finally starting to open up to more "Eastern" films. 😁
...I actually have The Returner at my place on DVD, so I'll check it out. The promo DVD I picked up has that trailer on it, which probably means it's coming to theaters here soon too...
