Is this some kind of Gorillaz tribute band or something? Because there's definitely no Damon Albarn here. :S

The seventh annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, scheduled for June 28th through the 30th at the lakeside island park, has already confirmed its lineup. Expect to see Mando Diao, The Cranberries, Gogol Bordello, Wilco, Retro Stefson, Iness Mezel, Tamikret, General Elektriks, and Franz Ferdinand.

Is this Wilco mention a typo or what?

Aha... they must mean the one from last month that was labeled "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival opening."🀦

...I don't know if the organizers even realized it, but they've got PIL playing right nearby at the exact same time... isn't BG pretty close by too? Maybe I'm just reaching here, but man, I would love to see some "honored legends" hit the stage one more time!

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is bringing out the incredible indie-dance duo human Woman

With names like thoseβ€”honestlyβ€”they aren't going to draw a crowd; this is a real missed opportunity.

Btw, they actually played at the very first edition of the festival out in the park.

What a pathetic lineup for this festival... We’re only six weeks out from Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and they still haven't dropped any tickets, even though they keep swearing up and down they'll announce something every single week. But hey, as long as they book Franz Ferdinand for the millionth time, right? Real groundbreaking stuff there.

Well, there is absolutely no way I am making it to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year. πŸ™‚

Hey everyone,

First off, sorry if I'm totally hijacking this thread, but I’ve got a few things on my mind regarding camping. I was hoping you all could share your experiences if anyone has ever camped out at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival before? Also, if I decide to head out on a full-day trip to Yellowstone, do you think my gear will be safe, or am I looking at some potential headaches? I really don't want to deal with someone swiping my blanket while I'm gone. 😁

Thanks so much. <3

First off, my apologies if I’ve strayed a bit from the main topic here, but I have a few questions regarding camping. I’d love to hear about anyone’s experiences if you’ve ever camped at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Also, if I head out on a day trip to a National Park, do you think things will be safe, or should I expect some issues? I’d really rather not have someone make off with my blanket.😁

Thanks. <3

I camped there for two years (though I sat this past one out) and honestly, I never had any trouble. The crowd at the campsite is decent, and the staff is great. Not a single thing went missing from my tent, even though we were out exploring most of the day. That said, obviously don't leave anything high-value unattended.

Today's paper features an interview with Zoran Marić, the director of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, discussing the deep dive into the ZG Holding corporation, the current state of the sponsorship market, and how they select and recycle bands.

Based on this, he's either scrambling to squeeze out some extra cash to beef up the lineup at the last minute, or everything is already set in stone and he's just making excuses for the shock factor of the festival.

Anyone dealt with this before? Based on how things went in previous years, can you actually get a full refund if you decide to bail on the trip? 🀷

Nope. You only get a refund if the entire festival gets canceled...

This whole thing feels like a total scam. I bought my ticket to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival specifically to see The Cranberries... I’m definitely not doing this again.

Oh, please...
why is it so hard for you to just sell it?
