Yeah... but the real headache is that I've already cycled through every single one of those installation CDs that came bundled with my PC, and none of them actually work for this...
#63 ·
You don't actually get an Office 2003 CD bundled with the computer; you have to buy that separately, just like how you had to pick up Office 2007.🙂

Sam Flores6 said:We have run into a bit of a situation. My sister downloaded Microsoft Office 2007 from the internet, but we can't locate the product key. We ended up uninstalling the 2007 version entirely, and now we are trying to figure out how to reinstall the 2003 version we used previously. If anyone knows how we might handle this, please let me know. Thanks!
Try searching Google for Serials and Keys - Unlock The World to find Microsoft Office 2007.

So, I was trying to get the grammar checker working in Microsoft Office, you know? I tried going through Spelling & Grammar, but then it just gives me this annoying message saying I don't have the Office Proofing Tool installed... ugh. Does anyone have a link where I can download it?

👋
It seems like things have gone a bit quiet around here lately... kinda quiet, actually. But hey, I'm still hanging out. Hopefully, some kind soul wanders by soon to help me out with an answer. 😉
So, I'm currently typing up this collection of poems in Microsoft Word—it's actually also the prep work for getting them printed—so I'm looking for some help with a few "technicalities," if you know what I mean.
So, about that page setup... if you're looking to switch things up to Landscape mode.
So, I was messing around with the settings earlier... and I ended up picking the "2 pages per sheet" option under the Pages / Multiple pages menu. Just one of those little things I was trying out.
So, here’s what I’m actually trying to pull off... I want the page layout set to landscape on a standard sheet of paper, but I want it to look like two vertical pages side-by-side, kind of like an open book. I think I managed to get the settings close to that, but is there a way to actually drop a line right down the middle of the page? Just something that shows up when I print so I can see where the "fold" would be. Also, I'm hitting a bit of a wall with the preview. How do I get the Print Preview to actually show the text in that landscape layout? Every time I check, it just keeps forcing me back into Portrait view. Even while I'm typing, everything stays stuck in Portrait mode on my single sheet of paper, and it's driving me a little crazy.
Uuuf, I think I made that way more complicated than it needed to be... hope you guys can still make sense of what I'm actually looking for. 😁😉

Man, you really overcomplicated that one.
You should've just started a new thread with a fresh title instead of digging up this old one from the archives. 🙂
If you're trying to lay out book text in Landscape mode, try using columns instead.Make two columns. Switch it to Landscape.
Check this out if you're trying to print a book. Got it, looking for 2003 here. Use that as a guide for Microsoft Word 2007. Obviously, you gotta consider what kind of printer you're running, too.
This is from Microsoft Word 2003.

So, I tried everything, and it turns out if I just select the "2 pages per sheet" option, it actually prints out looking fine. But what I’m really wondering is... is there a way to get a line right down the middle of the page? You know, like a physical gap or a visible divider between those two pages once it's printed on the paper?
Sorry for being such a pain here 😬

Also, could you maybe walk me through the difference between "2 pages per sheet" and "Book fold"? I’ve been clicking back and forth between them, but honestly, I can't really tell them apart at all.🤷
Thanks so much!

So what's the issue then?

Yeah, you can. Just draw a line right down the center between the two columns. If you've got a ton of pages, just use the
Watermark option . -
Here's an image you can pull into the Watermark
tool. It'll look just like the picture (basically a divider line between the columns).
Nancy Rodriguez38 said:Can you please explain the difference between the "2 pages per sheet" and "Book fold" options?
Honestly, looking at how many posts you've made on this forum, I'm pretty surprised you're asking this. 😉

A little irony and sarcasm never hurt anyone, right? ☕
As long as things turn out the way they're supposed to, I guess that's all that really matters.
Thanks, I think I'll play around with that Watermark setting and see if I can tinker with it a bit.

Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to slightly bend those arrows in Microsoft Word? I'm looking for a double-headed arrow, but I don't want it to be perfectly straight. I need to be able to give it a bit of a curve.

So, I’ve been chewing on a little project lately and was wondering if anyone could help me out...
Does anyone know the absolute easiest way to pull this off?
Basically, my plan is to just plug all my results in here

And then have everything automatically generate into a table that looks just like this one

I'm really looking for the simplest way to wrap my head around this—like, which specific formulas should I be using, and how can I set it up so that once I enter the data, the table builds itself? I want it to handle everything, including the win counts, total games played, points, and all those other stats...
If any part of this sounds a bit fuzzy, please just ask and I'll be happy to walk you through it...
But I think you guys get the gist of what I'm aiming for
I did a bit of digging on Google and stumbled upon this link
http://exceltemplate.net/sports/bund...dule-20102011/
The thing is, that template feels a bit too over-the-top for what I need. I'd much rather keep everything on a single sheet and stick to a clean, simple layout like the one I shared, rather than dealing with that massive, complicated spreadsheet they have there...
Anyway, I would truly appreciate it if someone could lend me a hand with this!

Sorry for going off-topic,
but wouldn't it be way easier to just create a hyperlink in Microsoft Excel using the existing web link (you know, the one with the car results and the table)? You’d really only have to deal with the updates. Since everything exports directly into Microsoft Excel anyway,
the end result is exactly the same, and you skip all that tedious manual data entry.
I don't really have a specific example for what you're looking for right now, and my schedule is pretty slammed these days. Cheers!

How do you even go about making a hyperlink... (I can't quite remember the term, haha... I think it's called a "link," right?)
Well, I actually pulled it off! I just went through and swapped out all the team names and updated the schedule... my only real concern now is how this is going to hold up if there are more than 18 teams involved. :S If it's a smaller group, I don't think I'll run into any trouble, but what happens if I try to work on a league with 24 teams, like the English Championship?
It feels like I might need to dive a bit deeper into the mechanics of it all and maybe plug in some new formulas... basically using the same logic but tweaking the data slightly to fit.

I think there was a similar question floating around here recently, if I recall correctly.
Honestly, keeping both your raw results and your final table in the exact same sheet is just bad practice—it’s going to look messy and unprofessional.
Calculating individual scores isn't exactly rocket science; the real issue is how you handle the sorting—you’ll either have to do it manually or just set up a quick macro to handle it for you.

This might sound a little silly, but I’m really out of my element with this kind of stuff, so I figured I'd ask here. I recently picked up a new laptop running Windows 7, and I'm a bit confused as to why the full Microsoft Office suite didn't come with it. I don't even have Microsoft Word installed, which means I can't open almost any of my documents... Does anyone know how I can go about buying or installing it?
#79 ·
And why on earth would she get the full Microsoft Office suite? How does one even acquire it? Buy it properly, I suppose, or just try to "find" it online.

placidcobra49 said:But why would you need the whole Office suite? How do you even get it? Buy it officially, or just "find" it online?
I actually thought it came included. I don't really need the full package, just Word. 😁 🤷
