Yeah, this is what a soft midsection looks like... I know the photo quality isn't great, but I don't really have a way to get a better shot.
I'm curious to hear what you guys think—how much can running actually fix this situation? Right now, I'm hitting the pavement a few times a week, and I feel like I'm seeing some progress, though maybe that's just being subjective (it's not a huge visual change yet, but my core feels tighter and the fat seems a bit thinner, I guess)
I already have a plan for my chest, but that depends a lot on willpower (I won't start right this second, I'll do it later🤣). When I was running more last year, say, I used to eat sandwiches with like 9 ounces of bread, but now I'm mostly just drinking fluids, so the results are probably partly due to that. Honestly, after a run, I just can't bring myself to eat; some days I literally have to force myself to eat lunch around 2 PM (even though I've been up since 6 AM), but by then I've downed about 3 liters of liquid (just enough to replace what I burned while running)
In case it helps, I'm 5'11" and about 188 lbs.

Okay, I don't know how to edit photos, so excuse the weirdness...
After doing some work, running twice a week, and hitting the gym for a month, maybe 2-3 times a week
I don't know if it's just in my head, but I definitely see progress 😉
