I'm back 😬
Found some old photos lying around... managed to bump up from about 180 to 185 lbs over the last month or so. Pretty happy with where I'm at. Standing at about 6'5".
imageimageimage image
The first two shots are from mid-May. Back then I was just starting a light gym routine and put on a few pounds... can't really find the photos from before that, which is probably for the best since I was maybe 10 lbs lighter back then. 0.o The last two are from just a couple days ago. I'm liking how this bulk is coming along, and I definitely plan on keeping it going for a while longer... I'll need to pack on at least another 20 or 30 lbs before I even think about cutting down in the distant future. 😬
As far as supplements go, I wasn't taking anything until about a month ago when I started using whey protein. Just need to get my arms to catch up a bit... they're naturally pretty thin, but everything else seems to be moving in the right direction 😢. Getting closer to becoming a total gym freak... 🙂 And my glutes... man, that's a whole different story. They're growing like crazy, half my jeans are already getting too tight.

Stop whining about the crappy camera quality😁

This was taken before I hit the gym. Once I grab something decent to take photos with, I'll post how I look now

Just a quick shot of my back and arm (which—honestly—looks way more toned in the mirror than it actually does😛). My phone camera is absolute garbage, so every other photo I tried to take ended up looking like a blurry mess -.-

Back
Arm🙂

Anyway, I haven't really seen any major progress since the summer—if anything, I might have even lost some mass—but I’m honestly pretty happy with where I am. I haven't stepped foot in a gym in over six months; I mostly just train at home and hit martial arts classes twice a week. The result? Maybe a slight dip in strength, while my flexibility, endurance, speed, and overall cardio have definitely taken a massive hit.
My diet is actually pretty solid, though lately I've been having these... let's call them "not-so-rare" sugar binges in the early morning hours (my personal record is an entire 1.1 lb bag of Oreos xD).

Front end

I’m going to try and make some actual progress before spring rolls around—I've cranked up the intensity at the gym and I'm hitting my workouts more often, so fingers crossed it actually works 😛
My main goal isn't even really about how I look, it's just about getting in better shape overall—though, if I happen to tone up a little bit along the way and then just maintain it, I definitely won't complain.

I was laying awake last night just thinking about my body and how I seriously need to get my act together ASAP. Since sleep wasn't happening, I hopped online hoping to find something useful. Somehow, I stumbled onto this site and found myself staring at a few of the ladies here (and no, don't worry, I'm not into women)😂
I have to say, there are plenty of people on here panicking over nothing—or maybe they’re just doing it on purpose to fish for compliments.
Anyway, I used to be pretty active playing volleyball, but since I'm buried in college work now, I've gotten pretty "soft." I know it's messing with my physique, but honestly, how I look right now is still way better than how bad it could have been.
I have to give a shout-out to little silvertiger10, though. Her progress totally blew me away and she’s basically the reason I’m starting to "advertise" myself here. Look, I can take criticism, which is why I'm even bothering with this. My goal is just to tone up—I'm not trying to get shredded abs or anything, just enough to look firm. And yeah, I really want to lose these love handles.😁

Alright folks, round two (or three, lol)
Sitting at about 190 lbs right now (getting a bit crushed trying to hunt down some new gear haha)
Arms here http://img443.imageshack.us/i/bicv.jpg/
Doing a quasi-side shot, plus a front lat spread http://img204.imageshack.us/i/forum1zr.jpg/
The quads... basically just Nozure’s ass with a spontaneous facepalm? http://img543.imageshack.us/i/forum6.jpg/
Abs http://img191.imageshack.us/i/forum2222.jpg/
Trying to hit a pose, maybe front biceps or a spread... honestly just an epic fail http://img585.imageshack.us/i/forum11111.jpg/

Everything together, since looking at them one by one is like browsing the meat aisle at Whole Foods (you guys would definitely go for the whole pig!) http://img443.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=bicv.jpg
A real pig http://img156.imageshack.us/i/prase.jpg/
My crew usually loses it laughing at my face whenever I'm posing... they tell me I look like some cartoon character (though they never say which one 😕 😠)

So, yeah, arms are my absolute Achilles heel. They just don't grow... they look small even though I'm hitting them pretty hard, not overtraining or anything... but given my height and genetics, this is just how it is. Got some dumbbells, plates are broken because the local handyman is out on disability, but it doesn't bother me too much since it's not a disaster (honestly, I'm actually kind of proud of my abs since I never had them before, so it feels pretty decent right now). Still bulking, so once I cut, things should tighten up, and my waist is still on my side (around 31 inches... way too feminine, yuck!!! but it helps the taper show)... Also, my left side is weaker by at least 10%, even though I've been working to balance them out lately since it bugs me (it's from breaking my arm a few years back, so I ended up training my right side more for rehab, plus a bit of thoracic scoliosis)

EDIT: If I dig up those photos from New Year's Eve, apparently I was in nothing but boxers and a beanie doing dips on a balcony railing with a massive blood alcohol level... you wouldn't believe the grip strength I had even in a crisis!

Here are my two photos showing what I consider my most challenging area—my legs! =(=
I just can't seem to get rid of this cellulite on my thighs. =(
What do you all think? Please, don't hold back with the feedback! =(

p.s. Here is a full-body shot! I’ve actually lost 15 pounds since July! =)=) (fingers crossed for more!)

So, here’s a little update on where I’m at!

Point number one: I have never actually set foot in a gym!
(And honestly, I don't see that changing anytime soon)
Number two: When it comes to food, I’m all about those hearty meats like bacon, smoked sausage, and eggs—to be honest, even chicken feels a bit underwhelming to me, so I tend to load up on plenty of fruits and veggies instead. 😁
I just can't wrap my head around this whole protein shake craze that everyone seems obsessed with, and personally, I know I'll never be reaching for one.
I'm 21 years old, standing 6'3", and weighing in at about 198 lbs.
So, when I'm not doing any heavy lifting (which has always been my thing so far 😁), you'll find me out on my bike, or if the weather is acting all miserable and freezing like it is now, I'll be out for a long walk. It’s kind of somewhere in that sweet spot between walking and running 😁, usually around the Rockies or those nearby hills.
What I'm really aiming for is better conditioning, way more endurance, and basically triple whatever I have right now.

The legs

Arms, up and down
http://img191.imageshack.us/i/p1030318q.jpg/
http://img143.imageshack.us/i/p1030317z.jpg/

I had a really hard time getting a good shot of my torso 😁 (the photos turned out pretty bad)
I'd say there isn't much to show in the picture, haha! 😁

Best wishes to everyone!

Alright, here we go.

So, how’s the progress looking to you guys? 😬

image

I know someone was asking for a progress shot without all the posing just to see how things have changed compared to where I started. This is just me hanging out, totally relaxed after a few days of taking it easy and staying away from the gym. 🙂 :

image

My legs still feel pretty solid, and I’m sure they’ll stay that way—it's just how it goes. Besides, since I've got the same build as Zvončica, I don't really expect them to turn into super long, slender limbs anyway.
I've always been a fan of having some curves, so I honestly don't have any issues with how things look. 😁

At this point, I just need to tone up the inner thighs a little bit and I'll be set. All in all, I definitely feel like I'm doing better than before.

I finally decided to stop being my own worst critic and just tell myself, "Hey, you actually look great! Be proud of your progress!" So, here is my latest photo:
standing at 6'0" and weighing 154 lbs (currently)

I’ve been hitting the gym for a while now, though it’s always been hit or miss since I’m paying my own way and money can be tight. I’m just getting back into the swing of things after a three-and-a-half month hiatus. The holidays pretty much wrecked my progress—too many beers, BBQs, and sweets, not including 😬—so I’ve put on about six pounds, but it isn't the end of the world...
I took these photos myself, so the angles aren't exactly professional. You can see from the imbalance between my left and right sides in my back and chest that I'm dealing with some spinal issues.
Currently standing 5'7" and weighing around 155 lbs, maybe slightly less

DL 1RM = 220 lbs
Squat 1RM = 220 lbs
Bench 1RM = haven't tested it lately, but probably around 145 lbs
Back, legs, triceps, and shoulders performed cold:

So, I ended up snapping this photo just because I was feeling incredibly bored one afternoon...
I’ve been hitting up Pilates classes and doing some core, leg, and glute circuits for about a month now. My legs are definitely my biggest struggle, though; even though I’m putting in the work at the studio, I tend to be pretty lazy when it comes to doing anything extra at home, and I certainly haven't committed to any strict diets or anything like that. I'll admit, I have a massive chocolate addiction 😢

🙂
