I guess I’ll jump in too. I’ve never really been much of a gym rat; honestly, maybe adding a few pounds wouldn't hurt, but my metabolism just isn't built for it. Besides, I don't think it's particularly healthy to try and force your body into a massive frame that goes against your genetics. People who do that usually end up burning out pretty fast anyway! 😁

Check out this clip of me 😁

Last time I posted, I was checking in right after the senior Olympics in San Diego; yesterday, we had the competition over in Carbondale.
I lost to the gentleman in the photo 2-1, but honestly, that’s on me. Still, you have to give him credit—he's twice my age and carries about 20 pounds more than I do.

Also pictured is Antonio Mašić, who's pulling hard for our team too! 🙂

My bad for double-posting, but here we go. 😁

Check out the photo of my home gym. This is where the magic happens—blood, sweat, and tears. 😁
I’ve got a 6-foot heavy bag, a bench press, a barbell with 220 lbs of plates, an exercise bike, and some dumbbells.

Here I am, sporting a slightly different setup today. When you're working from home, you just have to make do with whatever works 😁

I guess this actually works....
So, basically: 38 years old, two kids... working out... pretty much every single day... and yeah, that’s about it.🙂

It’s been a minute since I’ve checked in, so here’s an update.
The weight is creeping up, even if my height hasn't changed a bit.🤣
Not that I’m complaining, though.

And here's one from the side... I guess I'm a little clumsy when it comes to uploading these photos.🤷

I should have more coming soon from my workouts... not just these shots from going out.😁

So, it’s been about five months since I finally got serious and embraced The regime. 😁
I was actually debating whether or not to share my old photos, because looking back at them now, I honestly can't wrap my head around why I let myself go like that. Yeah, it's a little embarrassing.
Anyway, just hitting the gym isn't enough for me anymore; I've become a total regular at my local fitness center. The biggest hurdle was definitely the diet, because before all those injuries, I never gave a single thought to what I was putting in my body. But now that I've found my rhythm, seeing how much more vibrant and energized I feel makes it so worth it—it's like night and day, and I am never going back to my old ways.

Before anyone starts jumping down my throat 😍, I'll be the first to admit that I know there is still plenty of work to do. Those love handles and some extra softness on my thighs are still hanging around, but... I'm getting there, and I truly have no doubt I will. 😁

So, here’s my situation... I haven't really committed to any specific sport lately, though I spent years basically living on a bicycle. That’s what gave me my shape, which I try to maintain now by doing squats three times a day, fifty reps each, plus this basic routine for arms, chest, back, and core—just overhead arm swings, bringing them back down to my sides, also fifty reps, three times daily. I also make an effort to walk as much as possible and just dance around my room to whatever music is playing 😍

Here’s my progress too... shot earlier this year. I’m about 5'5" and 132 lbs now. I used to have a similar build to silvertiger10... except back then I was sitting at 165 lbs. No gym required—I just overhauled my diet and the weight dropped off over a few months.

Here’s my situation...
I'm about 5'7" and currently sitting at 165 lbs.
To be honest, I was actually 230 just four years ago, but let's just keep that old photo to ourselves for now...
So, yeah... basically, I'd love to drop maybe 20 pounds or so. But the real struggle? It's that stubborn "trouble zone"—you know, the stomach, hips, glutes, and thighs area.
The photos should show you exactly what I mean.
Please, don't hold back with the feedback or advice. If we aren't being real with each other, there's no point in doing this.😁

Since everyone’s sharing their progress, I figured I should jump in too.

image

Just a heads-up, my bicep doesn't actually look quite as defined as a worker at ExxonMobil—I had to flex a little just to catch the light since the lighting in here is pretty terrible. That same dim light makes it look like I haven't been shaving, but trust me, I am totally smooth. 🤣
Vesper was asking about my measurements.

Chest: 37 inches
Waist: 28 inches
Thighs: 38 inches
I really don't even want to talk about body fat percentage. 😬

So, there's definitely still work to be done. It certainly won't be boring! 😁

Here is another update from my side...

I gained two pounds today—though I have my doubts about the scale's accuracy. That puts me at 170 lbs...
