You think you're being funny, don't you?

No... I already asked you what you thought about... This is it. You previously mentioned that this wasn't exactly ideal for Protein Weight Management. Now Iโ€™m asking for your take on... This is it.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Alright.
You can find the answer right here -

And seriously, listen, that entire post is basically the perfect guide for what you're dealing with.
I mean, every single line from the very beginning to the very end. Don't just skip ahead to the part where they mention Weider or Whey or protein in general. You really need the whole thing.

Youโ€™ve already been given the answer here -

Pay attention: that entire post is the answer to your specific situation.
Read it from the first line to the last. Don't just cherry-pick the part about Weider or whey or protein in general.

-Stipe

Alright, alright... don't get upset. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I mean, Iโ€™ve always been a bit of a hothead by nature, I guess. ๐Ÿ˜

Seriously, just go ahead and ask anyone if you don't believe me.

Sure... I read a few pages on this before you started hyping up PWM in a shaker bottle right before hitting the gym. If you carry it around with you, that foam is going to settle and die right when you finish your set. Is it really okay to let it sit for an hour? Iโ€™m pretty sure it needs to be consumed immediately... isn't that right?

electricangler51 said:Yeah... I mean, I read a few pages saying you shouldn't mix your protein powder in a shaker before heading to the gym and carry it with you, because by the time you finish your workout, all that foam has settled. Does it really matter if it sits there for an hour or so...?

Basically, yeah, it's totally fine.

Fair enough...
Thatโ€™s exactly how I plan to handle it...

Thanks ๐Ÿ‘

I mean, why not just toss all the ingredients into the shaker beforehand and then just add water and shake it up right after your workout?!?

Why doesn't your shake actually emulsify? Like, why isn't it a smooth blend when you just give it a quick shake by hand? ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜ฒ
For me, a shake never turns out right unless I make it at home using my dedicated blender or an immersion blender! Thatโ€™s why I always prep mine at home and just carry it with meโ€”I honestly have no idea how you guys manage to get it working perfectly just by shaking the bottle manually. ๐Ÿ˜ข

That really depends on the specific brand of Protein you're using.

My shakes always turn out terrible unless I make them at homeโ€”either using my dedicated blender or a handheld immersion mixer. Thatโ€™s why I always prep them at home and just carry them with me. Honestly, I have no idea how you guys manage to get yours tasting okay just by shaking them by hand. ๐Ÿ˜ข

You say you're drinking Optimum Nutritionโ€”honestly, I don't think that's working for you. You should try pushing it a little harder. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

ironwolf52 said:So, I was just wondering... does anyone else have this issue where their shake doesn't actually mix properly? Like, you can try to shake it by hand as hard as you want, but it still won't get smoothโ€”it's just full of those annoying little clumps. Is it just me, or is that happening to you guys too? ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Nah.
So, I was just thinking... you know how some shakers have that little wire whisk or mesh screen inside? Yeah, that thing! Itโ€™s basically there to smash up all those annoying little clumps so you actually get a smooth drink. I guess it makes a huge difference, maybe? Definitely helps!
I mean, honestly? Itโ€™s basically just going to be liquid. I guess it ends up being almost entirely water once you're done.

Honestly, that little shaker mesh isn't doing anything for me!
rapiddriver11, lookโ€”sure, maybe Optimum Nutrition doesn't clump up quite as badly, but you still end up with some lumps here and there. Plus, it never gets as frothy as when I use the blender. When I pour in about a cup of milk and blend it for a minute, I get a full 750ml shake. If I were just shaking it by hand, I'd be left with barely a third of a cup of actual liquid.
I much prefer it when it's foamy ๐Ÿ™‚, but hey, at the end of the day, itโ€™s all down to personal taste.

This protein I'm using mixes incredibly well... No clumps, nothing at all. Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind if it was a bit more creamy ๐Ÿ™‚

I seriously don't get why people at Gold's Gym insist on mixing their protein with milk when everyone knows you're supposed to drink it with water....

Heh... I can knock back half a liter of that stuff easy. Itโ€™s not like Iโ€™m sitting there savoring the taste, but honestly? Mixing it with water just hits better. ๐Ÿ™‚ The protein absorbs way faster than when you mix it with milk... ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey everyone!!!

I wanted to pick your brains on somethingโ€”is it okay to mix different brands, like using Protein and Biotech together? Iโ€™ve been scrolling through various forums, but I just can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere. So, here's my deal: I've been hitting the gym three times a week for about two months now. I'm standing at 6'5" and weigh about 238 lbs. I also go for a run every now and then just for fun. I've never actually used supplements before, so I'm really looking for some guidance here. My main goal is just to lean out a bit, nothing crazy. I have read on a bunch of sites that people tend to bash Biotech because they claim the company doesn't always follow certain regulationsโ€”like, supposedly there's less protein in it than what's listed on the label. On the other hand, though, everyone denies those claims... ๐Ÿคท Does that specific Biotech one go by > Protein Pro 85 plus Biotech, 750g? And are there any other versions out there? If so, which ones should I look for? Also, while we're at it, I'm curious about which Protein is the better move... Ultra Whey Pro - 750 g or the 100% ISO Protein - 500g bag

thanks!!!

Honestly, Biotech is absolute garbageโ€”just steer clear of them if you can. Youโ€™re much better off putting your money toward some actually high-quality protein instead.

How much is 30 g actually? Like, roughly one spoonful? A soup spoon or just a regular coffee spoon?

I'm pretty sure a standard soup spoon gets you right around 30g.
