Honestly, asking that is a bit like asking if a pound of lead is heavier than a pound of feathers. I’d ask you what kind of spoon you’re holding, but that feels like a trap since I can't really give you a straight answer without knowing the density of what you're scooping. If you want to be precise, just grab a kitchen scale, weigh out ten spoonfuls of whatever you’ve been using, and then divide that total by ten. That should give you your magic number.

Honestly, Biotech is totally losing its mind right now.
I’m pretty sure there’s way too much soy filler in their stuff.

Thirty grams—that’s about two massive, juicy slugs.

Honestly, these comments are all over the place and pretty useless.

1. Not everyone uses the exact same size scoop.
2. Not everyone uses the same measuring tool.
3. And let's be real, we aren't all drinking the same brand of Protein.

1. Not everyone is using the exact same spoons, right?
2. Everyone’s got different scoop sizes.
3. Plus, we aren't all slamming the same brand of Protein.

Just grab a digital scale and call it a day! 😁

Well, I actually suggested exactly that about five or six posts back. You clearly haven't been paying attention...

Look, it’s not like one scoop is massive and the other is tiny—it’s not that kind of chaos. These scoops are manufactured to pretty much the same standard dimensions, so they're going to grab roughly the same amount of powder. And yeah, two scoops usually lands you right around 30 grams, give or take a little bit. Period.

Look, I’ve used everything from massive serving spoons to tiny little teaspoons, and even then, the difference was barely about 50%. You're honestly talking nonsense here.

I just got on the scale to double-check things. Using ten level scoops with a little bit extra on top, I'm hitting about 120 grams 🙄Which basically means you're looking at roughly 2.5 scoops for every 30g of Protein

Hannah Wright said:So, how much is 30 grams exactly? Is that like... one big spoonful? Or maybe just a regular coffee spoon? I'm honestly not totally sure myself, I guess! Maybe it's somewhere in between? It’s kind of tricky to eyeball without a scale, right?

It’s honestly just super simple... you take 60 grams and then, I guess, just use half of that! 😁

Carl Taylor said:So, I just finished weighing some stuff on my scale! I was checking out the powder, and I guess... if you take about 10 level scoops along with a few heaping ones on top, it comes out to roughly 120 grams. Maybe? It's just a rough estimate, but that's what I'm seeing! 🙄So, I guess if you're looking at getting 30g of protein, maybe you'd need like... 2.5 scoops? Or maybe even 2.5 tablespoons of that protein powder? I mean, it really depends on how dense the powder is, I guess! It’s kind of tricky to eyeball it, right? Maybe just grab a scale if you want to be super precise, but yeah, 2.5 big spoonfuls seems like it might do the trick!

I mean, honestly, when you say something like that, it really just comes down to what you personally consider to be "top-tier," I guess. It’s all pretty subjective, right?
I mean, I’m basically shoveling two full scoops in there—it’s like, if you look at the spoon, you’ve got this little pyramid of protein sitting there, just looking stressed out every time you give the scoop a tiny shake, you know? So, yeah, I just grab the biggest scoop available and go for it!
Whatever, let him go ahead.

Me? I’m out here packing in two full scoops—I mean, I build this little mountain of protein in the spoon that looks like it's under actual physical stress just waiting for me to give the scoop a tiny shake. And then, naturally, I go for the biggest scoop available.
Whatever works, I guess.

-Joe

So that's the secret... build the pyramid and then give it a little shake. 😁

But look, you’ve got these massive villains—who are basically just bosses, let's be real—so when you factor them in, you're looking at way more than 30 grams. 🙄

Honestly, I don't stress it at all.
If anything, I try really hard to make sure nothing gets stressed by accident! 😁

don't come at me like that... I'm totally new to this and honestly have zero clue what I'm doing... plus I don't exactly have all day to spend scrolling through Google endlessly... I'd much rather just get a straight answer from someone who knows their stuff here 😁
--> so, about that Protein, is that something people should be taking if they're trying to lean out and drop fat, or is it strictly for the guys trying to bulk up?

Think of Protein mixed with glucose as just a supplement you toss in right after your workout. Just mix the Protein + glucose + water.

Nobody is actually "bulking up" just from this stuff because it's basically just one single meal replacement designed to help your body recover and repair those muscles faster after hitting the gym. Basically, you're just feeding them.

If your routine is just running and cycling, then you probably don't need any Protein.
But if you're lifting weights? Then yeah, it can definitely help.

There’s this YouTube link floating around where Ronnie Coleman dumps about 200 grams of protein into his post-workout meal.😁
