So... I tried ordering Microsoft through eBay, but the package showed up right at the border, and surprise, surprise—shipping was $40, plus I was staring down a 22% sales tax and about $233 in customs fees. Absolute insanity. I sent it right back; there’s no way I'm paying eleven times the price.

Now I see they have it at ESPN nearby. Do they even offer delivery if you order online, or am I stuck driving to their shop or the USPS to pick it up? Does anyone actually have their phone number or address? I can't find a single scrap of info on them anywhere.

You just head to their website, pick out your payment method and set up regular shipping, then make sure to leave a nice little note in the comments asking them to ship the package via USPS! Once ESPN gets that shipment moving toward the post office, they'll shoot you an email letting you know it’s on its way.
Then you just drive over to Canada and pick up your gear!
Honestly, if you grab two or three buddies to order stuff with you, it makes everything so much easier.👍

Every single person I know who orders stuff handles bringing it across the border without any issues at all—unless, of course, you're trying to smuggle an entire semi-truck worth of goods.😁

I even heard about a time when four guys were carrying about €800 worth of stuff, and the customs officer just looked at them and asked, "Hey guys, do you really need that much to drink?"🤣

I'm trying to pack on some muscle... I'm 5'11" and about 172 lbs... I box, but the gains just aren't happening... anyone got tips on how to actually bulk up? Is it all about the protein or what?

Fix your diet first, get consistent with your workouts, and hit the gym hard—only then will you actually see the benefits of those proteins 😁

So, when am I actually supposed to be drinking my Whey—before or after a workout?

Honestly, you can just take it after, during, or even before—it really all works out fine.

Look, you aren't going to build muscle just by chugging Whey; it all comes down to eating right and actually putting in the work at the gym. To me, Whey is really just a tiny little supplement that helps move things along slightly.

Just a quick question...

I'm not entirely sure myself, but I am focusing on weight loss while also working on toning my physique.
I usually kick things off in the morning with an hour on the elliptical followed by about an hour of mixed Pilates and yoga. In the evenings, I'll jump back on the elliptical for 30 to 60 minutes and then wrap things up with more yoga and Pilates, depending on how much energy I have left or just my overall mood.

I’ve decided to give the South Beach diet a shot, though I'll definitely be swapping in two protein shakes as meals. It reminds me of when I started hitting the gym back in Chicago—having that quick nutrition on hand made everything so much easier.

I could use a little advice here... would this actually be a better choice than Dymatize? I’ve tried both brands lately, and honestly, it really comes down to what you're looking for. I personally find the Elite Whey mixes much smoother, especially when I'm mixing them in my shaker bottle after a quick run through Central Park. It just feels a bit more premium.Of course I'm not looking to pack on extra muscle mass... unless anyone out there has a better suggestion or a different way to approach this?

Thanks so much!

Those aren't really meal replacements, honestly. You’d be much better off grabbing something with slower-digesting proteins—so, skip the Whey and go for things like eggs or milk instead. I don't want to sound like I'm pitching a specific brand, so you should probably just browse through this thread or check out wherever you usually shop to see what looks good. Just a heads-up, though: watch out for those gainers that are basically just loaded with sugar.

I don't really have the energy to go digging through the archives of this forum right now, but I was wondering if anyone here happens to know of someone selling Whey at a better price than what you'd find at Walmart?
If you have any leads, please feel free to shoot me a PM!

And where else would Whey come from if not milk?

if you're using Whey but want it to digest slower, just mix it with milk or throw it in some oatmeal...

Look, if you're drinking whey but you're hoping for a slow-release effect, I guess you kind of missed the whole point from the very beginning.

I can’t remember if I’ve already asked this, but honestly, my brain is a sieve today, so whatever! 😁
Does anyone know where I can pick up some Dymatize locally here in Washington, D.C.? I really don't have the patience to wait on those shipments coming in from Canada—I'm already over it. Plus, I'm seriously craving that specific flavor profile now that I've finally gotten used to it. 😁

It seems like everyone is raving about that grape-flavored stuff from Walmart, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I picked up my first tub of Whey yesterday—honestly, despite being active in sports for years, I’ve never really messed with supplements before. Well, after a pretty brutal workout, I finished the whole shake and, literally three minutes later, I had to sprint for the restroom. Let’s just say things went south fast... I ended up having a total disaster in there. Instead of feeling recharged after an intense session, I just felt absolutely miserable, haha!!

Basically, all three bags of that "top-tier" junk I bought went straight into the trash on my way home, hehe!!

So today, instead of the shake, I just grabbed a few honey sticks after my workout. I heard that combo can actually help with recovery without the drama.

So, I hit up Walmart earlier today and picked up some Whey and some muesli to mix together.
I actually started working out about two weeks ago—nothing too crazy or intense yet, just mostly doing sets of 50 pushups and 50 squats with some dumbbells. My main goal is just trying to pack on some muscle mass because, honestly, being 6'3" and only weighing 155 lbs feels pretty pathetic.
I guess my question is, how long does it usually take before I might actually see some kind of results from adding these proteins into the mix?

How long do you think it'll take before I start seeing some actual results from using these proteins?

Well, I guess it really depends on everything else you're eating, so the answer could be anything from "never" to "maybe in 2 or 3 months."
And, if I'm being totally honest, your current workout routine isn't exactly the best setup for hitting those muscle-building goals.
