Plus, I guess that workout routine isn't exactly hitting the mark for what you're actually trying to achieve.

Since you clearly know way more than I do, maybe you could put together a routine or just give me some pointers... basically, I'm looking to bulk up my chest and shoulders a bit and put on some weight...

I don't get why people hate on the grapes from Walmart—personally, I think they're 😁
But whatever, it is what it is.

Maybe it’s just because I can barely stomach other UH, so this feels like the absolute peak for me 🤣

Some day after a workout, I even tried topping my strawberries with it 🤷

I started working out two weeks ago—nothing crazy yet, mostly just doing 50 push-ups and 50 squats with some dumbbells. I'm trying to put on some mass because at 6'3", I'm a skinny 155 lbs.
How long until I actually start seeing results from this protein stuff?

Honestly, you'd be much better off joining a gym. But if you really don't feel like doing that, then fine—just crank out those reps, and I mean A LOT of them...

Push-ups, pull-ups, dips, squats, running.

If you're living near downtown, check out the trails by the local park; you can combine a bunch of different exercises there.

Or just hit the local hiking trails.

Also, if you can, grab a barbell for deadlifts, squats, military presses...

But man, was I wrong.

Maybe it's just because I can barely stomach most other protein shakes, so this felt like a huge win at the time 🤣

The other day after my workout, I even tried mixing some strawberries in with it 🤷

Who knows, really... it probably just didn't sit right with my stomach.
Anyway, I know for a fact that was the first and definitely the last time I'm ever touching that stuff, haha!!
Plus, the whole thing was just gross to drink, whereas today I just had some whey with water and it was totally fine... though I did wash it down with a couple of honey sticks to mask the taste.

So, my big, professional piece of advice is basically just... "Eat."

Don't sweat it. I'm 6'7" and was 155 lbs eight months ago. Now I'm around 175 lbs. Just eat and lift. Don't stress about gaining weight overnight; it’ll happen eventually and it'll be great.🙂 I only started using protein about six weeks ago, but if you don't have a solid diet, you're just throwing money away. Track your weight every month and test your strength, like how many pushups you can do or your max bench press. It's a great way to track progress and stay motivated. Peace!😉

swiftlynx6 said:Look, if you're hitting the gym regularly, protein is pretty much a non-negotiable part of your diet. You're eating it all the time, sure, but using something like whey powder just helps you hit those higher targets more easily, which really makes a difference in your progress. I've been drinking it for quite a while now and honestly, I can't complain—it’s been nothing but helpful. Just keep in mind that you still need to eat plenty of real food for it to actually work its magic. If you're looking to pick some up at a better price, just shoot me a text at 555-012-3456.

Hey everyone, I hope I’ve landed in the right spot here... 🙂
So, here’s the deal; I’ve finally started hitting the gym (I’m really trying to make it a daily habit!) and I’m slowly getting my diet under control. My trainer at the gym suggested I pick up the 🙂 Weight Watchers - Diet drink - basically a meal replacement made of protein, whey, and milk, along with some other replacement shake that specifically includes L-carnitine. Has anyone actually tried this stuff? Is it worth the hype?! As you can probably tell, I’m a total novice when it comes to supplements—I've never touched them before, and I really don't want to go wasting money on random substances I don't actually need 🤷 🤔

I’m actually looking for something similar... I’m a vegetarian who just started working out, nothing too intense yet. However, I’m struggling to hit my protein goals, so I’d like to start supplementing. My concern is that I don't want to just wing it, but when I ask the trainers at my gym, they usually just try to sell me whatever brand they have a contract with. I’m really just looking for an unbiased opinion on a reliable manufacturer—ideally something that isn't marketed exclusively toward hardcore bodybuilders or pro athletes.

thanks 😉

Don't bother stressing over supplements... they work, sure, but the impact is pretty minimal. The real heavy lifting comes from your own effort. When you feel absolutely wiped out after a session, that's how you know you actually put in the work. 😁Personally, I always feel bloated when someone tries to hydrate me with a gallon of water, and I wouldn't call myself a massive guy anyway. But I stick to really short rest periods, and it honestly pays off. Don't just sit there for two or three minutes between sets—keep moving!

As for protein, I’ll say it again: go with MuscleTech!

It is true what you say; once you finish a workout fueled by those grape-flavored supplements from Walmart, the only real solution is 👍

And just as you pointed out, the rest periods between sets are kept to a maximum of about one minute.

Furthermore, I have heard through the grapevine that the Whey they carry at Walmart is absolute garbage.

Don't throw your money away. She only suggested it because her gym sells it. It's useless.

Anyone here actually used these proteins? Are they any good? Thinking about picking some up, just want to know if they're worth it before I pull the trigger.

Look, you aren't going to turn into Superman just by drinking this stuff.😉
Are they good? I guess they're fine. They're basically just like any other brand out there...

It’s superior to the other options on the market. I’d recommend sticking with this, though if you have the budget for it, grabbing some Dymatize ISO 100 is a solid move too.

I've been using them because Sheeva recommended them, plus they don't have any aspartame.

I'm still on the lookout for a pure Whey without all the extra stuff, kind of like that 95% blend from Inkospor.

They don't foam up at all, which I actually prefer, and they dissolve really smoothly in water. Honestly, the flavor is top-tier, and the price point is totally reasonable too. I've been using these for ages now.

My brother's been picking up vanilla stuff for a while now, and I finally decided to give it a shot myself. Honestly? I'm pretty happy with it.😁

I have a gut feeling TincH is going to post about this over on Protein.😬
