Can someone please just tell me what you guys actually mix your protein with? Like, are we talking milk, or just water?
And what’s the ratio everyone uses?
I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I've honestly never figured it out...
Thanks y'all

Just mix one scoop with about a cup of water right after you finish your workout.

😁 Or maybe just go with 30 grams mixed into a larger glass of water. 😁

Honestly, I don't think it's all that funny, if you ask me. 😁

It feels more like someone being uptight. 😁 Honestly, what a joke. 😁

Wait, how on earth are you supposed to drink that much in one go? I’d be running for the bathroom all day!

😁

Personally, I’d recommend at least a full pint of water to stay safe.

So, what kind of whey protein are you actually using? For me, just a solid 8 ounces seems to hit the sweet spot perfectly.

I go with Dymatize Elite Whey.

I usually stick to the same amount you do, just triple the dose! 😁

You’re a strange little plant, Jamie Rivera70 😁 So basically, we're just drinking protein-flavored water then? 😲

wearyotter81 said:Man, you’re such a weird little plant, Jamie Rivera70! 😁 So, basically, we're just talking about flavored water with protein thrown in at this point! 😲

Honestly, if I could just add a little less, it would be absolutely perfect!

Look, I know I'm a total weirdoβ€”you really should've seen that coming! 😁

Haha, you're seriously the first person I've ever heard who mixes PWM with like, two ounces of water! That is wild.

Man, I swear, every single time I try to mix this stuff, it’s a total disaster! I go to pour my protein and glucose into the shaker, and somehow half of it just ends up splattered all over the counter instead of actually making it into the glass. It’s like the laws of physics are personally out to get me or something! πŸ˜‚
Look, let’s be real for a secondβ€”life is messy, and sometimes you just gotta deal with the chaos, right? It’s like that old saying goes: you can't escape the struggle! So, what's the word? Are you currently riding that crazy rollercoaster, or are you doing alright? 😁

Ahaaa, so we finally made it here! πŸ’‘ 😁

Personally, though? I don't touch glucose!

So, I’ve been thinkingβ€”is glucose actually essential? And more importantly, why exactly does our body crave it so much?

Well, damn.

This definitely belongs in an FAQ section. πŸ˜‰

Hey guys, I spotted some protein supplements over at the Target in downtown Chicago and now I’m questioning if they’re actually any good.πŸ˜•
They’re definitely cheaper than the name brands, though.

They're definitely cheaper.

If you'd actually specified what you were looking at, maybe someone could give you an answer. You expect us to just drive out to the store to check for you?🀣

But honestly, your average amateur isn't going to notice any difference between whey from $67 and $133. β˜•

Not reallyβ€”just asking if anyone happened to be out and actually saw it firsthand.πŸ™„

Generally speaking, yeah, it is.
It basically gives your body those quick carbs right when your glycogen stores are running on empty, and your body is just ready to shove them straight into your muscles.
The payoff is usually way better performance the next day.

Plus, you aren't teaching your body to burn through protein for fuel (which would happen if that was all you were eating). If there are carbs available, your body will grab those for energy instead, leaving the protein to do its actual jobβ€”building muscle up.
