Personally, I find people who look down their noses at country music to be incredibly strange. It’s just tacky. Their whole level of discourse is basically: "Oh, you listen to country? I was born in a major metropolitan area, but now I find myself stuck in some tiny backwater town where the only thing anyone listens to is mainstream country music. Out of a population of maybe 5,000 people, about 4,100 of them are obsessed with that garbage... leaving only about 900 of us left to actually listen to real ROCK, you absolute bottom-feeder...
That’s just my rough estimate of the average, though honestly, I think our numbers are even lower than that...
