Is it even legal to be wrong... 🙄 Based on what we've got...
Wrong info? ...maybe...
so, what's actually the deal with the difference between E300 and E330...
In the US, they allow like 48 different emulsifiers on the approved list, but over in...
Europe has like 75 of those emulsifiers on their approved list...
Looks like more testing is on the way... just another list to deal with...
keep it short...
I ain't twitching, number one...
Number two... don't believe everything you read in the papers. Journalists are just vultures looking for someone to crucify... they just want a headline, and the truth? Usually nowhere near it...
So you say you read about it online, mentioned some clinic in Düsseldorf... Honestly, people, someone already said this before me: anything actually researched and proven has to be published in scientific journals. And getting that paper out? It’s a total nightmare... It has to be damn good if you want a shot at somewhere like Nature or Science... Anyway, totally lost my train of thought...
Look, if E330 was actually cancer-causing, you wouldn't be out there eating margarine or sipping on a Coca-Cola and all that other junk... That "E" number thing is just an EU regulation to make everything easier to track, it doesn't mean anything bad...
Take citric acid, or whatever that "acidity regulator" E330 nonsense is... if you see E330 on the label, a Chinese person, an American, or even a Frenchman knows exactly what they're getting. But call it an acidity regulator? Nobody’s gonna know what that means... since there's more than just one...
If I remember right, E100-200 are dyes, E200-300 are emulsifiers, and E300-400 is acidity regulators, antioxidants, blah blah blah... Don't call me out if I'm wrong, my memory's shot...
Just take everything with a grain of salt... double check before you spit... 👋
