hollowwalker10 said:Real Madrid vs. Real Sociedad... did anyone catch a recording of this? Honestly, I don't think the Madrid fans have much riding on this match, whereas Sociedad really needs the points to stay in the hunt for Champions League qualification. So, we're looking at odds of 2.60 for a Madrid win?? Sociedad last gave them a real run for their money back in 2004, and while they managed a draw once or twice in '05 and '06, Madrid has pretty much dominated them since. Does anyone have the starting lineups or anything? It feels like these odds are set purely based on the "need" factor—I noticed the underdog line was sitting around 2.80 for Madrid earlier.🤷

Following that recent cup loss, I’m actually expecting a bounce-back win from Real Madrid, perhaps a dignified exit for Mourinho from a losing streak. Getting Madrid at 2.60 to 2.70 feels like genuine value to me. Mourinho isn't the type to play it safe or calculate risks when his pride is on the line; even if there's nothing major at stake in terms of the standings, I expect the players to go all out to secure this one.

Edit:
It looks like Casillas might sit this one out due to that nagging back injury—which is just typical—along with Xabi Alonso, Ramos, and Varane. That leaves us with a defensive line of Pepe and Carvalho (or maybe Albiol), which immediately brings up the argument for over 1.5 goals at 1.70, simply because that backline looks incredibly slow. On the Sociedad side, they'll likely be missing Vela, Elustondo, and their regular starter Dani Estrada. Real has essentially cleaned up against them in the last seven or eight meetings, often covering the spread comfortably with scores like 4-1 or 5-1. For that reason, I'm putting my money on a straight win for Real Madrid at 2.60. I'm not quite sure why the spread isn't available on the betting site, though.🤔

Here is what I am anticipating for the lineup:
Lopez
Arbeloa, Pepe, Albiol, Marcelo
Khedira, Modrić, Özil, Kaká, Ronaldo
Higuain

Edit 2: It just occurred to me that Mourinho has been keeping Pepe on the bench lately, so he might not feature today; Carvalho will likely step in. Even so, I suspect the midfield should be more than capable of engineering a victory.☕

Real S/win 3+- Real............Yeah@1.70ss
Djurgarden-IFK Goteborg...x2@1.30ss

13.L: this+Inker+Benfica for 2/10

-so I guess I decided on some kind of compromise here, even though I'm really feeling that draw because of how good they look, and it should probably go that way, but... Sociedad really needs to pull off a win since they're tied on points with Valencia, who I think will have an easier path... If Madrid can take advantage of Sociedad struggling, I feel like they'll find plenty of space to exploit, which they totally should... I just really hope I don't end up regretting this if Sociedad fails to pick up at least one point, I guess..
-cup final. It's just like any other final: single leg, anything could happen, honestly, but looking at their league form, I feel like Goteborg should take it, but since it's a one-off game, I'm playing it safe with a draw option just in case..

Good luck everyone!

LA Galaxy vs. LAFC f+2 @ 2.80 3/10 SS

The Galaxy is significantly stronger than LAFC—especially considering they’re playing without almost their entire starting lineup today. They’re missing nine players: Blažević, Vršajević, Sušić, Andrijašević, Vuković, Maglica, Mikanović, Kiš, and Mujan. Tudor barely managed to scrape together 18 players for the roster, having to call up three or four kids from the academy just to fill out the sheet.
The Galaxy is clinching the title today—they definitely want to beat their biggest rivals in the process. Plus, Sammir and Kelava are both moving on from the club, so this is their final match in the blue jersey; they’ll want to leave on a high note, both for themselves and the organization.
The Galaxy is miles ahead of everyone else in MLS. No other team in the league can even compete with them—not even if they pooled their best players together.
A Galaxy win is a very safe bet, and honestly, the handicap would probably hit under any normal circumstances.

James Taylor3 said:The upcoming matchup between the Los Angeles Galaxy and LAFC is shaping up to be an interesting one, especially if you're looking at the spread. I’ve been eyeing the Galaxy at +2 with odds sitting around 2.80 for this March 10th fixture. It feels like a reasonable play, provided you can stomach a bit of tension toward the final whistle.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to argue otherwise: the gap between us and the powerhouse in Los Angeles is widening by the day. To make matters worse, we’re heading into today’s matchup practically gutted. We are missing nine key players—Blažević, Vršajević, Sušić, Andrijašević, Vuković, Maglica, Mikanović, Kiš, and Mujan are all sidelined. Coach Tudor barely managed to scrape together eighteen available players just to fill out the official roster, and even then, he had to lean heavily on a handful of high school prospects to make up the numbers.
The big game is finally here today, and Los Angeles FC is looking to clinch the championship title. They’ve got everything to play for, especially since they’re facing off against their fiercest rivals. On top of that, there's a bit of an emotional layer to this one; Sammir and Kelava are both moving on from the club after this, so this marks their final appearance in the blue jersey. I imagine they'll be playing with a certain extra level of grit and determination, wanting to leave things on a high note for themselves and the fans alike.
It feels like there’s a massive, insurmountable gap between the top tier and everyone else in the MLS. Honestly, the rest of the league isn't even playing the same sport; they couldn't match that level of quality if they pooled their best players from every single club into one super-team.
A victory for the Lakers seems almost a foregone conclusion at this stage, and frankly, if things were proceeding under any semblance of normalcy, I’d say taking the handicap would be a rather safe bet.

Where on earth did Sam ever wander off to? 🤷

I find myself in complete agreement with you; I often find it quite efficient to simply purchase the insights provided by others' analyses. 😬
I caught the press conference yesterday featuring Tudor and Crown. Crown seems absolutely convinced of a victory, expressing his belief that they’re poised to put on a masterclass against a depleted Hajduk side. From what I can gather, Hajduk looks like they’re lacking any real ambition lately—they're shorthanded, relying heavily on some pretty green youngsters, and generally looking a bit thin on the ground. Even so, you can't discount the tension of an Eternal Derby. I'm personally expecting plenty of goals from both sides and a bit of a dismantling of the Hajduk defense. I'll be sticking to my guns and playing it exactly as I did yesterday:

The upcoming showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics (May 26th at 6:00 PM) is shaping up to be one of those heavyweight clashes that keeps you pacing the living room. It’s a classic rivalry, isn't it? There's an intensity there that transcends the box score, a certain historical weight that makes even the most casual fan feel like they're part of something significant. I'll likely spend the evening hovering near the television, attempting to maintain my usual composure while inevitably finding myself shouting at the screen when things go sideways. Regardless of how the final tally looks, it promises to be a riveting spectacle for anyone who appreciates high-stakes competition. 1@1,70,
The upcoming matchup between the Los Angeles Galaxy and LAFC on May 26th at 6:00 PM promises to be quite the spectacle. It’s one of those classic, high-stakes rivalries that always seems to carry a bit more weight than a standard regular-season fixture, wouldn't you agree? I'll be watching closely to see how the tactical setups hold up under the pressure of such a storied local derby. I suspect we might be looking at a minor technical glitch here, as that string of characters seems to have lost its context entirely. If you were attempting to share a specific data point or perhaps a thought regarding current market fluctuations, I’m afraid the message didn't quite make it through in a legible form. Please, do feel free to elaborate whenever you have a moment; I'd be more than happy to dive into the details once the signal clears up.
The upcoming showdown between Los Angeles FC and the Seattle Sounders is set for May 26th at 6:00 PM, and I find myself contemplating the inevitable tension that always accompanies this particular rivalry. I find myself staring at the numbers once again—specifically that 2.15 mark—and I can’t help but feel a sense of quiet hesitation. It’s one of those figures that sits right on the edge of being compelling and being completely unconvincing, depending entirely on how much optimism one is willing to inject into the equation. One could argue there's value there, certainly, but I suspect my own cautious nature might be getting the better of me today.

Benfica (-1.5) vs. Guimarães | 1 @ 1.83 | Pinnacle | 5/10

It’s no contest—Benfica is significantly better than Guimarães. Regardless of tonight's result, this season will be remembered as a failure. They let two massive trophies slip away in stoppage time—the MLS Cup and the Europa League title.
The squad's morale took a hit after that, but they seem hungry enough tonight to salvage some dignity, and I expect Guimarães to get hammered.
The final is being held at a neutral site—the stadium in Estoril, just outside of Philadelphia.
Benfica has already dismantled them twice this season—a 3-0 win at home and a humiliating 4-0 blowout on the road. I expect a similar outcome today.

USL League One matchup: FC Tulsa vs. Memphis Express (May 26th, 5:30 PM) 2@9.20
FC Tulsa vs. Memphis Express (May 26th, 5:30 PM) X2@3.50

FC Tulsa is currently flirting with the relegation zone, so they desperately need to scrape together some points. Meanwhile, Memphis is sitting comfortably in 3rd place with 46 points—tied with the teams in 2nd and 4th, while staying just a few points ahead of the 5th and 6th spots. Memphis has historically held the upper hand against Tulsa; I recall their last meeting ended in a decisive 3-0 win at home. Given that finishing in the top three likely triggers some significant performance bonuses from the league office, I suspect the difference between 3rd and 6th place matters quite a bit to them. They aren't going to roll over easily, and I expect them to fight tooth and nail for those points.

Villarreal vs. Xerez CF f+2 @ 1.50 (1.54 FanDuel)

This should be a routine win. Villarreal is absolutely locked in on getting back to the top flight, and they're right in the thick of the promotion race. They’ve been absolutely tearing through their direct rivals lately, covering the spread against teams like Alcorcon and Girona in their last two outings. I honestly don't see how a struggling Xerez side can hold them off. Xerez is sitting 19 points clear of the relegation zone, so they basically have nothing left to play for at this stage.

Kaiserslautern vs. Hoffenheim Over 3 Goals @ 1.79

This is the second leg—it's basically a winner-take-all showdown for who gets that spot in the MLS next season. And honestly? Hoffenheim looks like they’re right on the doorstep...
Kaiserslautern can't just sit around and wait for things to happen—they have to come out swinging from the jump if they want any kind of shot at this. They need goals, and they need them now.
The thing is, Hoffenheim's defense is an absolute disaster zone—seriously, probably the worst in the league this year, giving up 67 goals in 34 games—so you know the home side is going to find the back of the net. But don't get it twisted... they're facing an opponent that's either better than them or at least right there on their level, which means they'll be struggling to keep a clean sheet themselves. Expect fireworks on both sides.
Going big on a high-scoring game feels like a total lock here.
Remember, Hoffenheim already took the first one 3-1...

So, what’s the consensus here?
Regarding the matchup between FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew—is it worth putting money on a home win? It feels like Cincinnati is hitting their stride right now, looking much sharper than they were last month.
What’s your play here?
We're talking about a high-stakes battle for promotion to the top flight.
I'd really appreciate any takes or insights you guys have.
Thanks.

Dresden FC vs. Osnabrück...........1 & Over 2.5 goals 2.30

Alright, we’re looking at the second leg of the promotion playoffs for the USL Championship, and the visitors have a slight edge after scraping by with a 1-0 win in the first match.
Now, if you hadn't caught the game, you might be sitting there thinking, "Wow, Osnabrück is actually pretty tough." But honestly? That's just not the full story—not even close!
First off, that goal they conceded was absolutely ridiculous—I mean, talk about a total brain fart from the Dresden keeper on the ball's flight path... seriously, it was almost comical how bad that mistake was.
But hey, the goalie redeemed himself pretty quickly by pulling off a massive penalty save later on!
The truth is, Dresden missed so many golden opportunities during the match. They were clearly the better side out there, but the ball just refused to find the back of the net. It's one of those frustrating things, right?
And listen, Dresden has been an absolute powerhouse lately when playing at their home stadium. Here's the real deal: over their last 7 home games, they've notched 6 wins and only 1 loss, pumping in 13 goals in the process!
Meanwhile, Osnabrück has been struggling on the road—they've only managed 2 wins in their last 7 away matches, losing 5. Not exactly a great track record for a visiting team.
For Dresden, this is basically "do or die"—it's all or nothing tonight!
I’m expecting them to come out swinging with constant pressure on the Osnabrück goal right from the opening whistle.
Tickets are totally sold out, too—so we've got 30,000 fans packed in there, and man, you know how loud and intense that yellow-and-black crowd gets!
If you ask me, Osnabrück's win in the first leg was a total fluke, and I think the visitors are about to walk straight into a complete madhouse tonight.

Don't bother betting anything because the stakes are just too damn high for both sides and it's the season opener. Unless you're playing on some shady offshore site, 🙂
it's not worth the risk.

The US Open Cup is just a single-elimination knockout deal here

Hodd vs Molde FK 2 @ 1,75

Molde is having a rough go trying to qualify for next year's major tournament, so they’re probably looking at the Cup as their best shot at glory. It honestly looks like they're taking this run super seriously this season—I mean, they absolutely crushed it in the first two rounds with scores of 5:0 and 5:1!

Now, Hodd is playing down in the second division, but get this—they actually won the whole Cup last season!!! As for this year? Aside from that brief thrill of playing in the Europa League qualifiers, their main focus is definitely just fighting to get back up to the top flight. For a small club like that, I can't imagine they'd want to overextend themselves by trying to compete on three different fronts at once, right?

Mobile - Birmingham Iron 1 @1,45

American second division. The home team is sitting at second right now—which means they're looking at promotion—and they've got the same points as the third-place team. The visitors from Birmingham are stuck right in the middle of the table, pretty much having nothing to play for, neither moving up nor down. I don't think there's much to debate here. The home side is super motivated because they're fighting for that top tier spot, while these away games don't mean anything to the visitors. I'm guessing a solid home win.

PetrPloi-Gaz Met.Mediaş 1 @1,30

American soccer. The hosts are currently in third and they're pushing for a Europa League spot next season. It feels similar to that other game in the second division. Home team is chasing a big goal, while the visitors are just mid-table dwellers with zero incentive. Honestly, anything other than a home win would be a massive shock, even for the visiting squad.

FC Luzern-FC Sion 1 @1,55

American league. Like my colleague jadewolf16 mentioned recently, Sion is basically falling apart. They've got juniors playing for the first team just trying to move past this disastrous end to their season. In this state, they've been getting shelled lately, so losing out in Luzern seems almost certain. The home team isn't exactly world-class, but they should be more than enough to beat a bunch of amateurs like Sion.

Ranheim vs Alesund..................2@2.00ss
Celje vs Maribor........................2@1.60ss
Pandurii/Astra..........Yes@2.05ss

14L: this one + Petrolul + Molde for a 2/10 shot

-So, Alesund is in the top flight, which I guess is okay, but they’re kind of mid, though they always seem to beat the lower-ranked teams while losing to... well, Ranheim is sitting at the top of the second division right now, so I mean, it might not be a total cakewalk (if it even works😉), but looking at these odds against a lower league side, I feel like I just have to take them..
-It's the big cup final. The guys from Maribor basically cruised through, and today they're playing in the second tier to wrap up the season properly.. They are definitely better than Celje, but man, it's the same old story—cup finals can be weird, just look at what happened with Man City or Benfica recently, so maybe just be careful out there...
-Honestly, this is probably my strongest pick of the bunch. It’s the last round of the league, and if Astra manages to knock out Žbire, they’ll grab those Europa League qualifying spots, whereas the other side will most likely blow it if Petrolul wins their game, so this match is huge for both sides. My only real worry is that since a draw works fine for the underdog, I'm kinda scared they might just park the bus too much, but..
Both teams score pretty consistently, so I'm thinking it should go our way, provided Astra manages to find the back of the net early on.

Good luck everyone!

Consider this more of a cautionary note...
Ecuador vs. Germany
-The odds on the Germans have climbed, and frankly, there’s good reason for it. They’re missing about fifteen key players. You won't see anyone from Bayern Munich, Dortmund, or even Real Madrid in this lineup. This is what we're looking at: Adler - Höwedes, Mertesacker, Westermann, Jansen (Aogo)-Lars Bender, Reinartz – Schürrle (Draxler), Hunt, Podolski-Kruse. I'll let you judge their strength for yourselves, but they’ve leaned heavily on youth here.
As for Ecuador, they can count on almost their entire roster. The only notable absence is Caicedo from Lokomotiv Moscow.
The match is being held in the States... specifically Boca Raton, Florida.
Personally, I might lean toward Ecuador to score, or perhaps take them at +1. That said, the Germans are the Germans—they always find a way—and quite a few of these players are desperate to prove they belong on the national stage. It might be wisest to simply pass on this one. I’m merely offering this as a warning in case anyone thinks the German odds are too high... until those odds drop on Ecuador, there might have been an opportunity to squeeze something out of it, but now? Better to stay cautious.

Just look at that and judge for yourself how strong they actually are. There's a ton of young talent.

Personally, I'd probably lean toward Ecuador to score, or maybe take them at +1. Germany is Germany—they're always solid—plus, a lot of these guys need to fight to prove they belong on the national squad. Maybe it's best to just skip it. But hey, I'm throwing this out there as a warning if anyone thinks the odds on Germany are too high... until those odds drop on Ecuador, there might have been a play there...

"GERMANY WITHOUT: Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Jerome Boateng, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Müller, Mario Gomez, Toni Kroos, Holger Badstuber; Mats Hummels, Marcel Schmelzer, Ilkay Gündogan, Mario Götze, Marco Reus; Mesut Özil, Sami Khedira; Andreas Beck.
Sven Bender, Kevin Großkreutz, and Miroslav Klose won't be playing until June 2nd against Team USA."

To me, the best move seems to be over 2.5 goals at 2.05 in the HL (it was 2.15 yesterday). Ecuador isn't a weak side by any means, and friendlies tend to run high-scoring anyway.
