World Cup Qualifiers

Latvia vs USA 2 @ 1.70

The US has gotta keep this winning streak alive if they don't want to face Portugal again! From everything I've been reading, it looks like they want this World Cup spot more than anything else—seriously, if they don't qualify now while they're in such a perfect position, when will they? They already cleared Greece, but they still have those matchups against Slovakia hanging over them... so grabbing these 3 points against Latvia is basically non-negotiable right now.

Latvia is totally out. They got crushed in that first game against the US with a massive 1:4 scoreline, and now they're struggling even against Liechtenstein. Their star player is playing for Brighton, so yeah, it's looking grim.

July 5th

Belgium vs Mexico 1 @ 1.55

Looks like Hazard is recovering from his injury and is definitely going to suit up. Honestly, Belgium has one of the most powerhouse squads in Europe right now, led by guys like Eden Hazard, Vincent Kompany, Christian Benteke, and Marouane Fellaini.

Mexico's momentum has totally tanked. They've lost their edge, and we all know how they act once things start sliding downhill, right?

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers Over 2.5 goals @ 2.04

Look, both these squads are desperate for points right now, and let’s be real—their defensive setups are absolute garbage. They’re both giving up more than one goal per match like it's their job... total shambles.
The Sounders have coughed up 13 goals in their last 9 games, while Portland? Man, they've let in 16. Just wide open.
Seattle isn't exactly lighting up the scoreboard lately—only managed 6 goals—which is exactly why they went out and grabbed O Sow to try and fix that offensive drought.
Portland has always struggled on the road, but honestly, if they wanted to shake off those away-day jitters, they couldn't have picked a better opponent than today's matchup to test themselves against.
These two have squared off four times in the league this season, and every single one of those meetings turned into a high-scoring affair with plenty of goals flying in.

The odds on the goals market look decent enough for me, so I'm taking it. Expecting an all-out shootout here...

Wolfsburg vs. Lyon 1.40

The odds on Lyon look great. They're hunting their third straight title and honestly, they're probably the best women's club on the planet. Last time they even played to a draw was back in April 2012. Since then, they've been on a massive 35-game winning streak.

Wolfsburg vs. Lyon 7.00 Over 6+

I have to take a shot at this one. Both teams average over five goals per game, so maybe we'll see a total blowout tonight. 🙂

Wolfsburg +3.5 vs. Lyon 1.95

I’ve already made my point.

Wolfsburg vs. Lyon 2.10 Over 2

I'm expecting Wolfsburg to get shredded tonight.

Putting the first one on a parlay and keeping the rest as singles. 🙂

FC Lahti vs FF Jaro | X2 @ 1.65

Lahti absolutely crushed it!

http://www.fclahti.fi/index.php?mact...t01returnid=59

They’re pretty evenly matched in terms of pure power—so this looks like a solid play to me!

US League One

SV Horn – FC Lustenau 1 2,00 @ Stanleybet

The final stretch of the US League One season offers very little in the way of genuine drama... we already know who is heading up to the big leagues, who is sliding down to the lower divisions, and who is fighting for survival in the playoffs... this particular look is focused mostly on the situation over at FC Lustenau.
After declaring bankruptcy back in March, the league relegated Lustenau, which effectively handed a lifeline to the bottom-dwellers, allowing them to enter the relegation playoffs instead...
But the relegation isn't even their most pressing concern—they are currently staring down the barrel of total dissolution, needing to scrape together $150,000 immediately just to settle outstanding debts and keep the lights on... there is a massive fundraising campaign underway to save the club from vanishing entirely, and they’ve even arranged an auction for a jersey donated by David Alaba from his last match against Borussia Dortmund, with all proceeds going toward the rescue fund...
Lustenau has suffered five straight losses to close out the season, and their recent defeat felt particularly heavy, marking their final home game in professional soccer...
Then we have Horn playing at home. They face an opponent whose entire existence is currently on the line, so the only real motivation I can see is the home side wanting to give their fans one last victory to wrap up the year...
It isn't a high-stakes matchup in terms of points, and there's always the possibility of a sense of "sporting solidarity" leading to a draw, simply so Lustenau doesn't leave the professional ranks on a loss while they fight to stay alive...
Still, I’ve settled on a Horn win at the 2.00 odds for a modest stake, though if I had to rate my confidence level, I'd put it at a 4/10...

US Premier League

Limerick – Sligo Rovers 2 1,85 @ Stanleybet

Looking at the US Premier League, specifically the clash between Limerick and Sligo Rovers... Sligo is currently neck-and-neck for first place with St. Patrick's, though they have a game in hand, while Limerick sits in seventh...
Limerick’s manager is dealing with a bit of a crisis regarding squad depth, as they will be without Pat Purcell, Steven McGann, Dom Foley, and Robbie Williams... several others are doubtful, and Craig Curran will likely have to play in a protective mask, while Jeffrey Judge is out following a red card...
On the other side, Sligo welcomes back Gavin Peers and David Cawley from suspension, along with Ciaran Kelly and Seamus Coonneely returning from injury... Evan McMillan remains sidelined, and while Danny North is back in training, he won't be featuring tonight...
Over the last week, Limerick has played twice, whereas Sligo has only seen action once in a cup match against Mervue Utd, which the manager described as a useful training session since they had a bye last weekend...
Sligo already beat Limerick 2-1 at home earlier this season, and given the gaps in the Limerick lineup compared to the reinforcements returning to Sligo, I suspect we might see a repeat performance where Sligo walks away with all three points...

Atlanta/Oakland Athletics.....Da@1,50ss
Braves/Arizona Diamondbacks.............2@2,10ss

-Like slyhawk4 was saying, everything points to this being pretty predictable since it's the final round and nobody really has any specific grudge or anything, but man, both these teams have just been absolutely hammering each other back in 2013, and they've lost at least five of their last head-to-head matchups, so...
-Braves 1-1-5 (5:9), home 0-1-2(1:4) though with those five straight losses.. Diamondbacks overall 4-2-1(13:4)BUT away 1-1-1(2:2), so I guess it's not like a total lock or anything, but I still have this gut feeling that the Braves are actually a bit weaker than what the stats might suggest, so maybe it's worth a shot..

Good luck

I’m looking at the odds for the Champions League final right now on DraftKings, where the underdog is sitting at 4.70. 🤷

Look, Bayern is clearly the superior side on paper, but we're talking about a single winner-take-all match here. In a game like this, everyone has to dig deep and give 110%, which makes it incredibly hard to label anyone as a massive favorite. The stakes couldn't be higher—we're talking about the absolute pinnacle of club football, easily one of the big three alongside the World Cup and the Euros. And let's be real, it's not like the underdog got a lucky wildcard entry to even stand on this pitch. If this were a two-legged aggregate series, I might understand those numbers better, but for a one-off showdown? This looks like serious value to me. There’ll probably be a killer tip coming soon...

cosmicheron21 said:I’ve been glancing at the odds for the Champions League final—Dortmund is sitting at 4.70 at Stadium Solutions. Isn't that a bit excessive? 🤷

Bayern is undoubtedly the superior side, but we are talking about a single, winner-take-all match where everyone needs to be performing at their absolute peak, which makes it difficult for any team to emerge as an overwhelming favorite. The stakes couldn't be higher; this is the pinnacle of club football, right up there with the World Cup and the Euros. Let’s be honest, Dortmund didn't just stumble into this final on a lucky pass. If this were a two-legged aggregate series, those odds would make more sense to me, but in a one-off game, I really think there's significant value here. There will likely be a high-confidence pick coming soon...

I’m not so sure... personally, I think the odds are right where they should be. Looking at how things have unfolded in the Champions League, Bayern is currently the most dominant squad in Europe. No other team has shown that kind of sustained consistency; most of them have had their inevitable lapses in form. Granted, even Bayern had a rough patch against Arsenal, if I recall correctly, though they certainly asserted their dominance over Barca. 🙂

I’m quite fond of the Bayern +2 spread at 2.90, but I won't call anything just yet. The odds will probably shift tomorrow, so I’ll wait until then to pull the trigger....☕

The Final 🎉

Going with a standard spread here:

Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayern Munich, Over 2.5 goals + @2.10

Look, Bayern is objectively the better side on paper, but I’m hesitant to call a winner outright. This is the championship game. You can bet the guys from Dortmund aren't just going to hand over the trophy without a fight. 🙂
I'm expecting a total spectacle with plenty of goals—exactly what you'd expect when these two titans meet. Even though Bayern has had an almost impenetrable defense this season, I think Dortmund has enough firepower to score against anyone, and they have all the motivation in the world. On the flip side, Dortmund's defense tends to struggle with consistency over ninety minutes (they'll look great, then suddenly 😁 make a massive unforced error), and when you factor in how lethal the Bayern attack is right now? This feels like a rock-solid play to me. ☕

I'll also try a prop bet with Mario:

Mario Mandžukić to score anytime @3.00

Maybe the odds are a bit high 🤔 I was thinking closer to 2.50, but hey, I'll take the extra value. 😁
He's been Bayern's top scorer in the league, and I truly believe he can find the back of the net tonight. He already scored against them in the Season Opener, so this is his perfect chance to pad those Champions League stats. 🙂

Los Angeles FC vs. LA Galaxy 2 @ 1.80

Let's go, baby!

We’ve already dissected this LAFC squad—they are a complete disaster zone right now, honestly just playing like a bunch of high schoolers. They’ve been getting absolutely demolished lately, losing their last two games by a combined score of 0-8! Meanwhile, the Galaxy are still holding onto that dream of making a run for the playoffs. The odds have shifted big time too—went from 3.50 down to 1.80 in just a couple of days. Who's riding with me?

If you look at the Champions League matches lately, Bayern seems to be the most consistent powerhouse in Europe. No other squad has shown that kind of steady, high-level play; most teams have been hitting these inevitable slumps. Sure, even Bayern had a bit of a stumble against Arsenal, if I recall correctly, but they certainly asserted their dominance over Barcelona. 🙂

I quite like the idea of Bayern with a +2 handicap at 2.90, though I won't commit just yet. The odds will likely drift a bit higher tomorrow, so I'll probably wait until then to pull the trigger...☕

That’s about it; the odds have climbed slightly. 😬
I stand by everything I wrote yesterday. I am firmly convinced that Bayern is the superior side—significantly stronger than Dortmund—so I’m taking whatever value is on the table. Perhaps Mandžukić 🙂 will provide a moment of brilliance to make up for that frustrating 15-minute stoppage during the second leg against Real Madrid...☕

46/35 (95.67 total stake and parlay)
tickets: 2/10

Chelsea/vs City.....Over 2.5 goals @ 1.80ss

Dortmund (3.5) vs Bayern....Over 3.00ss
Inter Miami vs Orlando City................1 @ 1.45ss (Sun)
LA Lakers vs Golden State Warriors...................x @ 3.10ss
(Sun)
LA Galaxy vs Seattle Sounders.....................2 @ 1.60ss (Sun)

-Basically an American tour vibe, just playing for the fans without much pressure.. 8 out of Chelsea's last 11 games ended like this
-It’s the big final on May 1st, and I guess all the stats kind of go out the window, but my gut feeling after watching the whole season and the Champions League is that these two squads are gonna play super aggressive and just score a ton of goals.
-It’s basically the game of the season for four teams here, like Inter Miami, Seattle, Golden State, and LA. I think I'll stick with Inter because they really need to beat Orlando, plus Golden State should probably take down LA so that Inter stays in the top tier and LA drops down. I mean, even Golden State has some motivation since if Seattle slips up against LA, Golden State might sneak into those playoff spots, but then again, LA actually beat them last week, so I don't really see how Golden State can knock them off now that they're playing at home...

I don't usually touch soccer betting, but this one feels like a solid 2/10 pick.

Bayern Munich F2 @ 3.00
+
Lewandowski scores @ 3.00

Maybe the odds are underselling Dortmund, but Bayern has proven themselves as arguably the best squad on the planet multiple times this season. Their style of play is incredible—solid defense, lightning-fast transitions, and clinical counterattacks. If Bayern pulls away by two or more, there's a very real chance Lewandowski nets at least one of those goals. Adding a bet on him to score really boosts the value on a Bayern handicap win; honestly, the actual odds for this double should be north of 6.00.

Dortmund - Bayern 1 @ 4.93 Pinnacle 3/10

Credit to Bayern, but this is a final—one that Dortmund earned quite legitimately. It’s a single-match showdown on neutral ground. Football remains an unpredictable beast; we've seen that plenty of times with mediocre sides like Liverpool. 🙄
Just yesterday on Pinnacle, I caught an article noting that favorites in Champions League finals have won only about 54% of the time so far.
Bayern dismantled Barcelona like nobody ever has, while Dortmund—after a massive win against Real Madrid at home—barely scraped by in Madrid. Doesn't matter now, though; that history carries little weight today.
We’ve all tracked both teams on their march to this final, so there isn't much left to say. Bayern is playing clinical, lethal football, whereas Dortmund excels on the counter and transition play—they certainly know how to frustrate the German champions. This is their fourth meeting this season; two of the previous three ended in 1-1 draws (both in league play), while Bayern took the cup match 1-0. In short: all three matches were tight until the final whistle.
For Dortmund, losing Götze is a blow. For Bayern, they can better cover the absence of Kroos and Badstuber.
Bayern is the slight favorite, but in a high-stakes game on neutral territory, they shouldn't be as big of a favorite as the odds suggest.

For a double, I’m pairing a Dortmund win (@ 5.00) with Lewandowski to score @ 3.00 via Favorito , giving us total odds of 15.00. 😲
If Dortmund pulls this off, Lewandowski is the most likely candidate to find the net—especially with Götze out. He handles penalties too, which adds value to the play. The Pole has been unstoppable this season, scoring at will, and he'll likely be moving on to a global powerhouse at the end of the year. A 15.00 return feels well worth the risk.

Dortmund +1.0 @ 1.73 6/10

I have to admit, the price on this one surprised me. I was expecting closer to 1.50, so I’m taking it. This bet wins if there's a draw or a Dortmund victory; if Bayern wins by exactly one goal, my stake is returned. It's a solid cushion.

over 5.5 offsides in the match @ 2.12 Marathon 4/10

Both sides rack up offsides. Looking back at most matches from the Champions League quarterfinals onward, this over has hit for both teams, so I don't see why it wouldn't happen today. Lewandowski averages one offside per game, and since Dortmund relies heavily on transitions and quick breaks, there’s plenty of opportunity for errors. Bayern also plays a high line that triggers offsides frequently. That 5.5 threshold looks perfect.

Bayern Munich win + Lewandowski scores at @9.00

Maybe the odds are lowballing Dortmund, but Bayern has proven themselves as the best team in the world multiple times this season. Their football is incredible—rock-solid defense, lightning-fast transitions, and killer counterattacks. Plus, if Bayern wins by two or more, there's a solid 50/50 chance Lewandowski nets one of those goals. Adding Lewandowski to the mix really bumps up the value on a Bayern handicap win; realistically, the odds for this double should be closer to 6.00 than 9.00.

Where can I find this line?

Hey everyone! First off, I really hope you didn't go too crazy with your bankrolls this week. 😉. Now that the MLS season is finally kicking off, I figured it was about time I jumped into the mix with you all. We’re looking at the very first round of action here, and honestly, I think we might have stumbled onto a solid little winner right out of the gate Los Angeles FC - Atlanta United Since Atlanta played their first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals against Tigres just yesterday, they're almost certainly going to field a pretty heavily rotated lineup tomorrow.

The odds for the matchup between the LA Galaxy and LAFC are sitting at 1.75... quite a calculated spread, I suppose...

It seems highly probable that this will be Samir's final appearance in the club colors, and to have it happen during a massive rivalry game against the Lakers... quite fitting. Since it's the final round, neither side has much left to play for beyond pure pride. The Lakers are promising an aggressive, attacking style, though I’m skeptical given their current roster gaps—missing players like Miller, Walker, Vance, Sullivan, Bennett, Anderson, and King. Even if Miller, Vance, and Walker manage to see some minutes, we’re likely looking at at least three or four rookies stepping up into the lineup. Coach says they'll push forward, which is all well and good, but in my estimation, the Galaxy will simply devour them... The Galaxy is dealing with the absence of Tomek and Copa, but those are long-term issues, and having Simunic back after some rest should steady things. Both teams can afford to play without much pressure, and if the Lakers don't just park the bus, I expect a decisive victory for the Galaxy. Still, better to play it safe and just take the straight win at 1.75 through DraftKings, which appears to be the best value on the market...

Valencia hosts Granada, and I suspect we might see a narrow, single-goal margin...

Moving on to our final matchup, we turn our attention to the Spanish league... Valencia currently sits in fifth place, eyeing that Europa League spot, while Real Sociedad holds fourth, which keeps them in the hunt for Champions League qualifiers. They’re actually tied on points, though Sociedad maintains the edge thanks to their head-to-head record... Valencia welcomes Granada today, a side that has essentially secured its safety from relegation and realistically can only fluctuate by a single position from their current fifteenth-place standing. Valencia has certainly found their rhythm late in the season, picking up four wins in their last five outings—with the lone loss coming at the hands of Sociedad. They really need to pull out all the stops tonight to secure the win against Granada, as I suspect this will be little more than a formality for the visitors; after all, Sociedad faces Real Madrid next, and without any real sense of desperation, I find it hard to believe Madrid will simply hand over those points...

The odds on the matchup between the Red Sox and the Guardians sit at about 1.3... quite a predictable spread, really...

To wrap things up, we have one final cup match on the horizon over in Portugal... the ultimate tragic figures of this season—having squandered the league title in the 92nd minute and then losing the Europa League final in the 92nd minute—Benfica is facing off against Vitória Guimarães. Vitória finished ninth in the league, and while they will undoubtedly attempt to play spoiler in this single knockout match, they tried a similar tactic at home two months ago only to be dismantled by Benfica in a four-goal rout... As I understand it, Benfica has a full roster available and is expected to field their strongest possible lineup. Their manager spoke about the dream of bringing the trophy back to their stadium, which makes me think—it’s lovely to dream, but dreams rarely manifest in reality... This match is essentially a season-saver for Benfica, and I simply cannot see them throwing away another trophy, even if my mind wanders back to what Bayern did last season... For that reason, I won't touch the handicap, but a straight win for Benfica seems the only logical path...

I managed to snag that at 2.84 through DraftKings...

Man, that was some serious chaos from Real Madrid... did anyone actually catch a recording of this? I mean, honestly, Real doesn't have anything riding on this match, but for Sociedad, they absolutely need this win to stay in the hunt for Champions League qualification, so I guess those 2.60 odds make sense, right?? Sociedad hasn't really laid into them like that since back in 2004, and after that, they basically just traded wins or losses once or twice, but otherwise, the Madrid guys usually walk away with the win pretty regularly... Does anyone happen to have the lineups or something? Because it feels like the odds were set mostly based on that whole "do they need it or not" vibe—I know because the second half line for Madrid was sitting at 2.80🤷
